Story
Maxi and Myra are a bonded mother–daughter pair of purebred Toy Fox Terriers from championship lines. Maxi joined our family at just 8 weeks old, when my children were in middle school. Later, her breeder bred her, and that litter had only one surviving puppy, Myra. We kept Myra so Maxi would have company and so the kids could experience raising a puppy together. Myra is now 6, Maxi is 8, and both are under 9 pounds, healthy, and fully up to date on vaccinations. My children are grown and off to college, and with my work keeping me in Seattle, I’m not able to give these two the daily attention and engagement they deserve. They currently enjoy a fenced yard and a cozy dog house, but they thrive most when they have people, especially children, to play with and bond with. Maxi is calm, affectionate, and loyal. Myra is playful, energetic, and wonderful with kids. I’m looking for a loving home that will keep them together and give them the companionship and family life they truly enjoy.

Story
Rocky is an extremely affectionate six year old dog who would love to keep you company on the bed or couch while you sleep or watch TV. He will be happy with a morning and evening walk and the opportunity to play with his favorite toys. You will not need a doorbell as he will alert you with his big-dog-bark when someone comes to your door. However, once your guest has been welcomed into your home and Rocky has had an opportunity to sniff your visitor's shoes, he will happily return to his spot on the couch. He was first adopted when he was a year old and are unsure of his first year was like. For the last five years, he has lived with two retired adults who have been home most of the time, but has not displayed any negative behaviors when he has been left alone for the day. Rocky's Mom and Dad are very attached to him, but have developed some medical issues that make is difficult to provide the exercise he needs to be happy.

Story
Found on the side of a Texan highway at 6 months old, Nala had a tough start to life, but after a short stretch in a foster home, she joined my family where she has been loved and cared for like nobody’s business. Nala is now 5 years old and has been with the same family since her initial adoption. She’s the SWEETEST girl & wants nothing more than to snuggle her human all day every day, but given her start in life, she can be fearful/defensive. In particular she struggles with men & young children. She would do best as the only pet in an home. Any rehoming fee is only being collected to ensure her safety, and will be donated to the shelter I adopted her from.

Story
Sammy is a 10-month-old Australian Shepherd mix who made his way to the PNW from Oklahoma. He's the kind of dog people meet and immediately ask if he's available.Sammy is already potty trained and knows sit, shake, spin, wait, and "park it" (go into his crate). He picks up new commands remarkably fast and clearly wants to get it right, which is notable because he isn't food or treat motivated. He works for praise. Chicken is still his favorite thing on earth, for the record.Sammy is quiet. He rarely barks, has no separation anxiety, and has never tried to escape. He isn't a licker. He has shown zero aggression of any kind.Sammy is wonderfully affectionate. He'll happily cuddle on the couch, and if you'd rather he didn't, he'll go to his own bed when asked. He's great with adults and kids alike. He especially likes to make friends with people walking by his home, namely, the mailperson! He's spent his foster time around a 6-year-old and has been gentle.

Story
**Where did you acquire your pet?** I acquired him in Texas during a work trip when he was born. **How old is your pet?** He is currently 3 years old. **What are you looking for in a new home?** I am looking for a loving, patient, and responsible home where he will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship. He does well with everyone and would thrive with someone who understands that he can be a little anxious and is willing to give him time and reassurance. **What adjectives would you use to describe your pet?** He is loving, friendly, affectionate, well-behaved, intelligent, obedient, playful, and very anxious at times. He knows several basic commands, including sit, wait, hold, lay down, and eat. He is also very well-mannered around food—he waits until he is given the command to go before eating. He is fully crate trained and can remain crated for several hours without having accidents or making a mess. He has no issues with in-home accidents and is overall a very wel

Story
Hello! This is Max - and he is originally from a breeder in Texas. He's a purebred German Shepherd. He came with me after my divorce, but unfortunately my place is just too small for him. Since friends/family aren't able to take him, I'm now looking for a new home for Mr. Max. He's a great dog, very good with kids and his people. He could use a bit of training as he really only knows sit. He loves to play fetch with sticks and frisbee!
