Story

Maxi and Myra are a bonded mother–daughter pair of purebred Toy Fox Terriers from championship lines. Maxi joined our family at just 8 weeks old, when my children were in middle school. Later, her breeder bred her, and that litter had only one surviving puppy, Myra. We kept Myra so Maxi would have company and so the kids could experience raising a puppy together. Myra is now 6, Maxi is 8, and both are under 9 pounds, healthy, and fully up to date on vaccinations. My children are grown and off to college, and with my work keeping me in Seattle, I’m not able to give these two the daily attention and engagement they deserve. They currently enjoy a fenced yard and a cozy dog house, but they thrive most when they have people, especially children, to play with and bond with. Maxi is calm, affectionate, and loyal. Myra is playful, energetic, and wonderful with kids. I’m looking for a loving home that will keep them together and give them the companionship and family life they truly enjoy.

Found on the side of a Texan highway at 6 months old, Nala had a tough start to life, but after a short stretch in a foster home, she joined my family where she has been loved and cared for like nobody’s business. Nala is now 5 years old and has been with the same family since her initial adoption. She’s the SWEETEST girl & wants nothing more than to snuggle her human all day every day, but given her start in life, she can be fearful/defensive. In particular she struggles with men & young children. She doesn’t like when young dogs get in her face, & she should not live with cats. Any rehoming fee is only being collected to ensure her safety, and will be donated to the shelter I adopted her from.

So I have a mini multi colored Shar Pei. He only weighs 40 lbs and is shorter than normal Shar Pei’s. He is super friendly with both people and dogs. He barks when people knock on the door and is super friendly when they are let in the house. He turns 3 on August 16th. He loves to walk and go to dog parks. His shots are up to date. The reason for his adoption is that my son can no longer keep him as his girlfriend is allergic to dogs. I am really looking forward to a person who has a home with a backyard. We acquired the puppy from a family with a couple litters of puppies. She is very sweet, loving and good with kids. She is learning to walk with her leash, potty outside and crate train. We have a very busy work/school/sports schedule and we are running into issues on being able to be home and give her the best care and training. We would love to have someone adopt her who has the time and love to give to her that she deserves.

We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Looking for a sweet boy to join your family? Check me out. I’m Starsky, a 3 month old lab mix, around 13 lbs. I am just a puppy so I have all the learning to do. I need you to be gentle and patient with me as I come from the streets and did not have an easy start to life. I love to play and I get along great with everyone and everything, although cats don't appreciate my game of "chase" so if you have a cat, hopefully it can recognize I am just being playful. I am doing great with my puppy pad house training and also learning to be in a crate, but you do need to encourage me as sometimes I might forget. I'm hoping you have some toys to play with and I'm hoping you like to get out and about cos' that plus love is really all I need.
