Story
Hello Spring Branch Rescue friends! Meet Nylah. She is a fun-sized bundle of curiosity and joy! At just around a year old and 35 lbs, she’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a playful, loving, and treat-motivated sidekick. She adores kids and loves playing with her humans, whether it’s a game of fetch or a fun backyard adventure. This adorable girl is still learning the ropes with leash manners—she’s got enthusiasm for walks but pulls with excitement! She’s making great progress with kennel training and is eager to please. She hasn’t had much exposure to other dogs or cats yet, so slow introductions would be best as she learns more about her furry peers. One of her favorite things? Car rides! She's always ready to hop in and enjoy the journey. Nylah would thrive in an active home where she gets lots of playtime, continued training, and affection. She's full of potential and just needs a loving family to help her shine! Not in Texas? No problem. We offer transport to the Pacific Northwest & East Coast. Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##1125958##

Story
My dog’s name is Luna, she’s 6 years old and will be 7 in February. She’s a very loving and energetic dog. Loves to cuddle, play with toys and play fetch. She’s listens when you tell her to and understands most commands. I got her on craigslist, she came from Yakima WA. In a home I’m looking for someone to give her the utmost care she needs. I don’t advise having another dog or cat around because she has a resource guarding issues and doesn’t like to hear growling or hissing at all. That’s the reason I have to rehome her. The only time she would fight with my other dog would be if a treat was left out mistakenly. They’ve fought 3 other times only over treats. They recently had another fight over a bone and Luna had never bit down before during any other fight, but she did this time and caused my little dog to need stitches. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but it’s what’s best for me and my family. She would be a great fit for someone that is suitable for her needs.

Story
Meet Maya! Sweet Maya has already endured more loss than most. After her beloved owner tragically passed away in a car accident, no one came forward to care for her. A kind-hearted foster took her in, but due to a battle with cancer, Maya once again found herself needing a safe place—and that’s how she came to us. Despite all she’s been through, Maya is the definition of resilience. She’s calm, easygoing, and deeply loving. She adores human companionship, gets along well with other dogs, and brings a peaceful presence wherever she goes. She’s crate and leash trained, fully vetted, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Maya doesn’t ask for much—just a quiet, loving home where she can finally feel safe and cherished again. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion with a heart full of love, Maya is ready and waiting for you. Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! Story
Tiffani is the perfect package of sweetness, smarts, and playfulness! This lovable girl is as well-rounded as they come and is looking for her forever family to shower with love and loyalty. Tiffani is a friend to everyone—she's fantastic with other dogs and would fit right into a multi-pet home. She’s also great with kids, making her an ideal family dog. With her gentle spirit and playful energy, she knows how to keep everyone entertained while also being incredibly affectionate. When it comes to manners, Tiffani is top-notch! She’s fully housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Her intelligence shines through, and she’s always up for learning new tricks or playing with any toy she can find (and she loves them all!). And did we mention her smile? Tiffani has the absolute best grin, which she’ll flash at you anytime she's in her happy place—which, for her, is almost all the time! If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a playful spirit, Tiffani is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and endless smiles.  If she's such a good dog, then why hasn't she been adopted yet? Have you ever heard of "black dog syndrome"?  Black Dog Syndrome is a phenomenon where black dogs, especially larger ones, are often overlooked in shelters and rescues, resulting in longer stays and lower adoption rates compared to lighter-colored dogs. By adopting a black dog, you’re not only gaining a devoted pet—you’re breaking stereotypes and saving a life! Tiffani is a well balanced dog that would fit seamlessly into just about any home but her black coat has put her at the bottom of the adoption pool. Look at her smile, look at her energy, look at the love in her eyes... she will be the perfect companion for someone, black fur and all! To add Tiffani to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you!
