Story
Montague, who goes by Monty, is a sweet boy that loves car rides and peanut butter lick mats! He can be sensitive to things like loud noises (fireworks are really scary for him), door knocking, etc. We do not recommend that Monty goes to a home with cats, but could potentially live with another dog, if both dogs are agreeable to each other.

Story
Boba is a happy-go-lucky little guy with a heart full of love! His tail wiggles with excitement when he’s around his favorite people, and he absolutely loves cuddling up, playing fetch, and basking in belly rubs. Boba is a social little guy who gets along well with other dogs and has a knack for looking adorable in sweaters. He’s the kind of pup who will happily sit in your lap all day, soaking up all the attention you’re willing to give. While Boba is a sweet and affectionate companion, he does have a bite history, including a serious incident. He’s currently on behavior medication and following a behavior modification plan, with significant progress made so far. His aggression is primarily directed at unfamiliar people—though not all strangers—who he may feel uneasy around. He communicates his discomfort by barking loudly, and in some cases, if someone gets too close, he may bite.Boba’s adopter will need to be committed to continuing his behavior management plan to ensure his progress continues and to prevent future incidents. Our behavior specialist is available to discuss the steps involved in this ongoing care.Despite his challenges, Boba is an adorable, lovable dog who thrives with the right support and patience. We believe there is a special adopter out there who can provide him with a safe and structured home. Due to his bite history, we recommend he not go to a home with small children or elderly individuals, but with the right owner, Boba has the potential to be a loyal and loving companion.

Story
Penelope is a sweet, gentle girl who has had a challenging start in life, but she’s slowly learning to trust and bloom in her foster home. She’s formed a strong bond with her foster mom, but she’s still a bit unsure around new people. Penelope is looking for a quiet, thoughtful home where she can continue to build her confidence and feel safe as she adjusts to her new life. This sensitive girl would thrive in a calm environment where she can take her time to settle in. She would likely do best in a home without children, as she is more comfortable in a peaceful and predictable setting. With patience, love, and understanding, Penelope has the potential to become an affectionate and loyal companion. If you’re looking for a sweet girl who just needs a little time to trust, Penelope may be the perfect fit for you.
