Story
🐾 Looking for the Best Home for the Best Boy 🐾 Due to a move to a home that doesn't allow dogs, we're heartbroken to be looking for a new family for our amazing Collie. At 9 years old, he's the perfect combination of calm, loving, and adventurous. He'll happily join you for hikes, runs, beach days, and walks, but he's just as content curling up beside you for cuddles. He truly adapts to any lifestyle. He's wonderful with kids, dogs, and cats, and was highly trained as a therapy dog, volunteering in hospitals, children places or retirement homes. He has earned his Canine Good Citizen certification and has impeccable manners. Don't let his age fool you—he still has plenty of energy, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. He receives Adequan shots every two weeks for prevention and mobility. More than anything, he's incredibly loyal and affectionate. He's the kind of dog who becomes your shadow, your adventure buddy, and your best friend all at once.

Story
RAY IS A FOSPICE DOG (foster hospice) who will live out his life with MZ. You can SPONSOR his care! Please inquire if you are interested: give@motleyzoo.org Ray is 15 years young and been through a lot. Recently he lost his person who was unable to care for him anymore due to health reasons (in the human)- so we took him on where he can continue to enjoy the twilight of his time, surrounded by love and comfort. He has a long list of medical concerns from heart murmur, to oral fistulas (holes in his gums into his sinus cavity), missing and rotting teeth, IVDD as well as arthritis...but seriously, we want to bottle what this guy has because he's got spunk! He is a pretty chill dude but still finds the energy to run the fence chasing his neighbor pups and totters around the house looking for a soft place to snuggle. He's surrounded by other littles and a loving human who will continue to provide whatever he needs- until it's his time. Celebrate the seniors by sponsoring Ray's care. For as little as $10/ mo you can support his comfort for as long as we can continue to make that possible.

Story
Every wrestling lineup needs a quiet contender- the one who doesn’t make the most noise but ends up stealing the whole show. That’s Cody. While his siblings are out there cutting promos and bouncing off the ropes, Cody is hanging back just a step, taking it all in. He’s a softer soul-thoughtful, a little shy at first, and incredibly sweet after about two whole seconds. He will come running if you call him and he is just waiting for snuggles. Cody is the kind of puppy who builds real connection. He may not be the first to launch into your lap, but when he does, it means something: you've won the match and got a loyal little shadow who will follow you around like you’re the main event! He enjoys gentle play, exploring at his own pace, and watching the chaos before deciding to join in. With a confident dog buddy or a patient human, you’ll see his personality bloom- more playful, more curious, and just a little bit braver every day. Like all puppies, Cody is learning the basics of potty training, crate training, and figuring out how the world works. Give Cody the spotlight in your home and he will shine!

Story
Meet Ivy- a scruffy little white whirlwind wrapped in puppy fluff and curiosity, with just enough chaos to keep life interesting and just enough sweetness to make it all worth it. Named in the spirit of Kittie, Ivy might share a connection to a heavy, high-energy namesake, but her vibe is more “adorable mischief in a cloud of fur” than full-on mosh pit. She’s young, bright, and still figuring out what all this big wide world is about- and doing it with enthusiasm. At around 6 months old, Ivy is in that classic “everything is fascinating but also I'm unsure". She approaches life with a laid back belly crawl, curious nose, and a brain that’s constantly updating its list of Important Puppy Discoveries: leaves that move, humans that talk, toys that mysteriously disappear under couches (suspicious). She’s social, playful, and full of goofy puppy energy. One minute she’s investigating something with intense scientific focus, the next she’s flopping into a spontaneous nap like she just clocked out mid-thought. Ivy will thrive in a home that embraces the older puppy phase instead of surviving it. She needs guidance, consistency, and plenty of positive outlets for all that young-dog energy. Structure will help her shine, but so will humor- because she’s definitely the type to make you laugh right after doing something mildly questionable. Underneath the scruff and silliness, Ivy is deeply endearing and eager to bond. She’s building her confidence day by day, learning that people are pretty great and that love comes with snacks, praise, and soft places to land. She’s not polished. She’s not predictable. But she is pure potential, wrapped in white fluff and puppy spark!

Story
ORDER IN THE HOUSE! Court is now in session, and presiding over today's case is the Honorable Judge Jeff Jones. After careful consideration (and approximately 17 zoomies around the living room), this court finds you guilty of needing a puppy. Judge Jeff is a confident little guy who walks into every room like he owns the courthouse. Equal parts curious, playful, and ridiculously charming, he's always ready to investigate new toys, meet new friends, and present Exhibit A: his impossibly cute puppy eyes. Good luck arguing against those- they've won every case so far. This outgoing little attorney-at-paw loves people and is always first to volunteer for quality control when treats are involved. Whether he's bouncing after a squeaky toy, wrestling with his sibling, or climbing into your lap for a post-hearing cuddle, Jeff brings enthusiasm to everything he does. Like any good judge, he's fair and balanced. He can deliver high-energy puppy antics one minute and quietly snuggle beside you the next. He's smart, eager to learn, and ready to ace puppy kindergarten with your help! As a young puppy, Jeff is looking for a family committed to helping him continue learning all the important life skills, including house training, leash manners, and mastering the fine art of "not every sock is evidence." The verdict is in: Judge Jeff Jones is sentencing you to a lifetime of belly rubs, adventures, squeaky toys, and unconditional love. File an application to appeal today!
