Story
Estimated DOB: 12/22/2025 Estimated Adult Weight: 1020 lbs Breed: Chihuahua/Mix Adoption Donation: $700 Available for foster/ foster to adopt: March 3 Approx Neuter Date (adoptions finalized): after 3/17/2026 Meet Chris Cester! Chris may be the rhythm section, but he's still a boss! Named after the powerhouse drummer of Jet, this little guy might be small, but make no mistake he is running this tour. He is the one who's making sure everything is up to his standards and running smoothly- and he's got something to say about it if anyone isn't carrying their weight in the band! Hes not bossy in a mean way, just decisive. He's the kind of puppy who doesnt wait for life to happen. He makes it happen. Chris is the confident one. The Last Chance energy. The one who walks into a room like he already owns it- because in his mind, he does. But he is still a puppy and needs plenty of guidance from his family- and maybe even some other artists who have been in the biz for a while to mentor with. He needs a manager that understands his confident personality and helps him grow without getting too full of himself. He is adorable and he knows it, so he needs structure, socialization, training- and someone who gets leadership is not optional. But he doesn't need dominance- just clear direction! He's finding his way around the tour bus, but hasn't spent time alone yet- and he's still learning the potty training process, so pack some puppy pads for the time being. Eventually that suitcase will be full of toys and treats, but like any puppy, he's still dependent on your consistency. Hes responsive which means training will be fun and rewarding- you just have to show up consistently and keep his schedule running smoothly. He's not all work and no play though- he's asked for both daily play and lap time on his rider. He's willing to consider a partner for some duets, but hes not afraid to be the star of the show either. Every great band needs a rhythm section- and what family wouldn't want a little dog who brings confidence, spark, and a little swagger to the home? Are you ready for the front row to this tour? Before adoption, puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea-treated, and dewormed. They receive vaccination boosters in our care, but adopters will need to complete the remaining vaccine schedule. Your adoption donation covers vet care, transport, and general costs. All Motley Zoo dogs go home with a leash, Martingale collar, and a "Tour Gear Bag" full of goodies to start your journey together! Story
RAY IS A FOSPICE DOG (foster hospice) who will live out his life with MZ. You can SPONSOR his care! Please inquire if you are interested: give@motleyzoo.org Ray is 15 years young and been through a lot. Recently he lost his person who was unable to care for him anymore due to health reasons (in the human)- so we took him on where he can continue to enjoy the twilight of his time, surrounded by love and comfort. He has a long list of medical concerns from heart murmur, to oral fistulas (holes in his gums into his sinus cavity), missing and rotting teeth, IVDD as well as arthritis...but seriously, we want to bottle what this guy has because he's got spunk! He is a pretty chill dude but still finds the energy to run the fence chasing his neighbor pups and totters around the house looking for a soft place to snuggle. He's surrounded by other littles and a loving human who will continue to provide whatever he needs- until it's his time. Celebrate the seniors by sponsoring Ray's care. For as little as $10/ mo you can support his comfort for as long as we can continue to make that possible.
