Story
We adopted Poppy from a rescue in East King County in May 2025 when she was about 1 1/2 years old. Poppy is a very affectionate, intelligent dog who loves playing with other dogs and would do well on a property with a lot of land for running or herding. She loves to play fetch, play with her herding ball, and play with other dogs. She currently goes to doggy daycare twice a week and has completed a six-week training program, where she learned basic commands. We are looking to rehome Poppy because our household is not the ideal environment for her; she requires more space and activity than we can provide. She has also displayed impulse control issues and anxiety, which have been managed with medication in consultation with a behavioral veterinarian out of Seattle. Poppy is not comfortable in a crate but is comfortable in a glass room, like you'd find in a shelter. Our family loves Poppy very much and wants her to thrive in an environment that best suits her needs.

Hi. Im Lydia from the Regrettes and I am ready to perform! I may be a tiny 3-month-old terrier mixbut emotionally? Im headlining your living room tour. I wake up ready to feel things. Toys? Intense. Breakfast? Life-changing. You leaving the room for 12 seconds? A dramatic monologue. I am bold, expressive, curious, and just slightly convinced the world revolves around me (it should, right?). But lets be clear- Im still a baby. A wiggly, learning-as-I-go, sometimes-trip-over-my-own-paws baby. I didn't say I was perfect...but I am awesome. Current tour stats: Potty training: in progress (Im trying, okay?) Crate training: learning its my dressing room, not exile Leash walking: enthusiastic zigzag performance art Social skills: playful, confident, and ready to make friends I love people. I love other dogs. I love movement and engagement and anything that involves me being included. Im smart- the kind of smart that will absolutely outwit you if you dont give me structure. Training wont just help meit will make me thrive. My ideal home? Someone who appreciates a big personality in a small package (I'm only supposed to be medium sized). Someone who laughs at the chaos, commits to guidance, and understands that strong girls become amazing dogs when given consistency and love. Underneath the sparkle and sass, Im deeply loyal. Ill curl into your lap after a long day like, Okay fine. You can be my favorite person. You already ARE my favorite person I think... Im not background noise. Im the anthem. Ready to start this tour together? Call me! Please visit our website www.motleyzoorescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Estimated DOB: 12/22/2025 Estimated Adult Weight: 1020 lbs Breed: Chihuahua/Mix Adoption Donation: $700 Available for foster/ foster to adopt: March 3 Approx Neuter Date (adoptions finalized): after 3/17/2026 Meet Chris Cester! Chris may be the rhythm section, but he's still a boss! Named after the powerhouse drummer of Jet, this little guy might be small, but make no mistake he is running this tour. He is the one who's making sure everything is up to his standards and running smoothly- and he's got something to say about it if anyone isn't carrying their weight in the band! Hes not bossy in a mean way, just decisive. He's the kind of puppy who doesnt wait for life to happen. He makes it happen. Chris is the confident one. The Last Chance energy. The one who walks into a room like he already owns it- because in his mind, he does. But he is still a puppy and needs plenty of guidance from his family- and maybe even some other artists who have been in the biz for a while to mentor with. He needs a manager that understands his confident personality and helps him grow without getting too full of himself. He is adorable and he knows it, so he needs structure, socialization, training- and someone who gets leadership is not optional. But he doesn't need dominance- just clear direction! He's finding his way around the tour bus, but hasn't spent time alone yet- and he's still learning the potty training process, so pack some puppy pads for the time being. Eventually that suitcase will be full of toys and treats, but like any puppy, he's still dependent on your consistency. Hes responsive which means training will be fun and rewarding- you just have to show up consistently and keep his schedule running smoothly. He's not all work and no play though- he's asked for both daily play and lap time on his rider. He's willing to consider a partner for some duets, but hes not afraid to be the star of the show either. Every great band needs a rhythm section- and what family wouldn't want a little dog who brings confidence, spark, and a little swagger to the home? Are you ready for the front row to this tour? Before adoption, puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea-treated, and dewormed. They receive vaccination boosters in our care, but adopters will need to complete the remaining vaccine schedule. Your adoption donation covers vet care, transport, and general costs. All Motley Zoo dogs go home with a leash, Martingale collar, and a "Tour Gear Bag" full of goodies to start your journey together! Hi. Im Genessa of the Regrettes. Have you heard of our band? I'm lead vocals! Im a 3-month-old terrier mix with bright eyes and just enough attitude to start a garage band in your living room. If youve ever listened to us, you already get the vibe: big presences, zero interest in being ignored! I wake up ready to take on the world. Breakfast? Punk rock. Toys? Punk rock. Your shoelaces? Also punk rock. I am bold, curious, and convinced everything is an opportunity. Of course it is, life is fun!! But heres the twist- under the spunky frontwoman energy, Im still a baby. A snuggly, learning-the-ropes, sometimes-overstimulated little nugget who needs: consistency structure patient humans naps (so many naps) At three months old, Im still working on the basics. Potty training? In progress. Crate training? Learning. Leash skills? Lets call it interpretive dance for now ;) Im social and playful with other dogs, especially ones who appreciate a little sass. I love people and will happily bounce toward new friends like Ive been booked to headline their house. My ideal home? Someone who laughs at the chaos, commits to training, and understands that confident girls still need guidance. Im smart- terrier smart- which means if you teach me, I will absolutely learn. If you dontI will absolutely invent my own rules! Im not here to be background music. Im here to be your tiny riot, your couch-cuddling rebel, your loyal little frontwoman. Ready to start a band together? Hit me up! Please visit our website www.motleyzoorescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Hey! Brooke Dickson from The Regrettes- cool, steady, low-key iconic. Im a small terrier mix girl, about 3 months old, and while some puppies are out there demanding the spotlightIm the one laying down the groove. Calm confidence. Observant eyes. Quietly hilarious timing. Dont get me wrong- I play. I zoom. I wrestle. I chase toys like they owe me money. But Im not chaotic for sport. I read the room. I watch first, then join in. Ive got thoughtful energy. At this age, Im still learning everything: Potty training? Work in progress. Crate training? Getting there (with snacks and reassurance). Leash walking? Currently interpretive prance. Im friendly with people and other dogs, and I bond quickly once I feel safe. I love to tuck into your side and just exist there- like, this is my human now. Ive got that loyal bandmate energy. Id thrive in a home that: enjoys training and structure appreciates a smart, observant pup understands that confidence grows with consistency wants a best friend, not just a cute accessory Im sweet without being clingy, playful without being overwhelming, and thoughtful in a way that makes you feel like I get you. You get me?? If youre looking for a puppy who brings balance, heart, and just enough spice to keep things interesting...Im ready to join your lineup. Basslines. Balance. Built-In Charm. Named after the bassist of Jet, this little guy might not demand the spotlight like some of his siblings- but dont be fooled. Hes got the bass line that makes the song! Mark is the steady soul but also a bit more independent and adventurous. He's willing to try some new chords and riffs to achieve the perfect tune. Hes the kind of pup who is pretty flexible but still enjoys a good snuggle. Hes confident without being bossy. Curious without being reckless. And that face? He already knows hes adorable. Mark is working on some new skills, including crate and potty training. Like most pups, he will need continued practice and someone to keep his tour on schedule. But he's not the type to trash the hotel room- though puppy proofing is still part of setting his tour up for success. He toys with being a solo artists, but could also do well with another dog Hes not here to steal the show- hes here to anchor it. Are you ready to add a little rhythm to your life?
