Story
We adopted Poppy from a rescue in East King County in May 2025 when she was about 1 1/2 years old. Poppy is a very affectionate, intelligent dog who loves playing with other dogs and would do well on a property with a lot of land for running or herding. She loves to play fetch, play with her herding ball, and play with other dogs. She currently goes to doggy daycare twice a week and has completed a six-week training program, where she learned basic commands. We are looking to rehome Poppy because our household is not the ideal environment for her; she requires more space and activity than we can provide. She has also displayed impulse control issues and anxiety, which have been managed with medication in consultation with a behavioral veterinarian out of Seattle. Poppy is not comfortable in a crate but is comfortable in a glass room, like you'd find in a shelter. Our family loves Poppy very much and wants her to thrive in an environment that best suits her needs.

Story
Estimated DOB: 12/22/2025 Estimated Adult Weight: 1020 lbs Breed: Chihuahua/Mix Adoption Donation: $700 Available for foster/ foster to adopt: March 3 Approx Neuter Date (adoptions finalized): after 3/17/2026 Meet Chris Cester! Chris may be the rhythm section, but he's still a boss! Named after the powerhouse drummer of Jet, this little guy might be small, but make no mistake he is running this tour. He is the one who's making sure everything is up to his standards and running smoothly- and he's got something to say about it if anyone isn't carrying their weight in the band! Hes not bossy in a mean way, just decisive. He's the kind of puppy who doesnt wait for life to happen. He makes it happen. Chris is the confident one. The Last Chance energy. The one who walks into a room like he already owns it- because in his mind, he does. But he is still a puppy and needs plenty of guidance from his family- and maybe even some other artists who have been in the biz for a while to mentor with. He needs a manager that understands his confident personality and helps him grow without getting too full of himself. He is adorable and he knows it, so he needs structure, socialization, training- and someone who gets leadership is not optional. But he doesn't need dominance- just clear direction! He's finding his way around the tour bus, but hasn't spent time alone yet- and he's still learning the potty training process, so pack some puppy pads for the time being. Eventually that suitcase will be full of toys and treats, but like any puppy, he's still dependent on your consistency. Hes responsive which means training will be fun and rewarding- you just have to show up consistently and keep his schedule running smoothly. He's not all work and no play though- he's asked for both daily play and lap time on his rider. He's willing to consider a partner for some duets, but hes not afraid to be the star of the show either. Every great band needs a rhythm section- and what family wouldn't want a little dog who brings confidence, spark, and a little swagger to the home? Are you ready for the front row to this tour? Before adoption, puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea-treated, and dewormed. They receive vaccination boosters in our care, but adopters will need to complete the remaining vaccine schedule. Your adoption donation covers vet care, transport, and general costs. All Motley Zoo dogs go home with a leash, Martingale collar, and a "Tour Gear Bag" full of goodies to start your journey together! Story
Monty is a lovable, sweet-natured pup who’s always up for a car ride and never turns down a peanut butter lick mat! He’s an excellent leash-walker and feels right at home on busy trails, making him a great companion for outdoor adventures. While Monty is full of love, he can be a bit sensitive to loud noises like fireworks or unexpected knocks at the door—he’ll thrive in a calm, understanding home that gives him a sense of security. Monty enjoys social time with other dogs and can have dog friends, but he needs to be the only animal in the home. He does best without sharing his living space with other pets, where he can relax and feel safe.

Story
We are Mishka’s third home. We acquired her from a military family that was living down in the Joint Base Lewis-McChord area who also acquired her from another military family, we are assuming relocated. She has been with us since October of 2020 and has been around our lab that is 4 years older than her and has also grown up with our two kiddos. She is a very vocal pup and loves to play as well. We don’t have any cats so we don’t know how she would be with them. We call her Mish and Moo (moo) for short. She likes frozen blueberries as a nice snack but will eat any other yummy treats.
