Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##1125958##

Story
My dog’s name is Luna, she’s 7 years old. She’s a very smart, loving and energetic dog. Loves toys, playing fetch & cuddling. She’s understands most commands. She’s currently learning to not bark on walks. I’m looking for someone to give her the utmost care she needs. I don’t advise having another dog or cat around because she has a resource guarding issue and doesn’t like to hear growling or hissing at all.She did very well with my Chihuahua but because of her resource guarding with treats I can’t have her around my Chihuahua anymore. I only gave them treats in separate rooms but mistakes happen. The only time she would fight with my other dog would be if a treat was left out mistakenly. They recently had another fight over a bone and Luna had never bit down before during any other fight, but she did this time and caused my little dog to need stitches. I can’t have anything else happen to my Chihuahua.I know Luna would be a great fit for someone that is suitable for her needs.

Story
Maple is roughly 7 years old. She is a purebred Golden Retriever. We do have all of her paperwork and vet history. We are unable to keep her unfortunately due to cancer and a landlord issue. She's 100% sweet and kind to any human or animal that crosses her path. She's currently on hyperthyroid meds and ear medication that need to be administered regularly. She's overweight as seen in the photos and needs a good exercise regiment. We'd like to rehome her in the next week or so if possible. Let us know if you're interested and we'll set up a meet and greet.

Story
Meet Momma Jessica Rabbit How do we even begin her story… It started with a call about a momma dog who had just delivered 8 tiny puppies under an apartment maintenance shed. Sadly, this wasn’t new—this spot had become a “safe place” for stray and forgotten animals trying to protect their babies from the streets. But this time… a storm was coming. It was a rainy weekend. Rising water. Threats of flooding. We had to move fast. Our experienced trappers jumped into action, working together to get to this little family before the water did… and before others could get to her puppies. Momma was terrified—and rightfully so. She was doing everything she could to protect her babies. Nothing was working at first. Then we learned something heartbreaking… She wasn’t a stray at all. She belonged to someone in that very complex. They had simply moved units… and left her behind once she became pregnant. But not anymore. After a lot of patience and teamwork, Momma Jessica Rabbit and all 8 of her babies were brought to safety with our amazing fosters. No more rain. No more danger. No more fighting to survive. Now? They’re thriving. Puppies are growing stronger every day Their little paws are healing after being exposed to the elements And Momma… she’s finally starting to relax and trust again We are so grateful they didn’t become another heartbreaking statistic. What’s next? Momma Jessica Rabbit will be adoption-ready after her heartworm treatment (expected mid-June). Her puppies will be ready at 13 weeks old once they’ve received all required vaccinations for their age. Not in Texas? No problem! We offer transport from Texas to the Pacific Northwest & East Coast—and it’s included in your adoption fee. Over 900+ animals have already made this journey to their forever homes. If her story touched you, drop a below. It helps more people see her—and helps her babies find the homes they deserve. https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716  ##2716940##
