Story
Logan is a five and half years old border collie mix, neutered, with beautiful tri-color soft coat. He is highly intelligent, affectionate, obedient, athletic and a bit goofy. He has amazing agility and can easily catch flying frisbee 50 yards away, he runs like those border collies in agility championship games you see on TV. If you are looking for a lap dog, he might not be the right fit, but he will be your buddy, your sidekick. He is a herding breed dog and requires at least 45 minutes walking everyday. It would mean the world to him if you take him out for some running, fetching or hiking on weekends. We are rehoming Logan because we will have to move into a small apartment soon and also start working long hours. This is a very hard decision for us, but we want him to be able to have a backyard and not being left home alone all day.

Story
I am looking for a new home for my sweet boy Ollie. He is affectionate and the best snuggler, and loves to play. Unfortunately, I am experiencing a housing transition and I have no place to keep him. The most important thing to know about Ollie is that he is reactive. He would never bite a person or animal, and never has, but when he sees an unfamiliar dog, he "protects" his human by lunging and barking aggressively. Once he is introduced to a family and any pets (including cats), he is completely affectionate. But I do not recommend to take him to the dog park. He is good on walks as long as you are attentive and use a gentle leader lease (provided). Although you should avoid walking him in crowded places. He is an ideal family dog for someone with a fenced in backyard, but it needs to be somewhere where unfamiliar dogs arent often walking by, or he will never stop barking. It would be amazing if his new family would let me see him every few months.

Story
Can you help us find the right home for Benson? 🖤 Benson is a 3½-year-old Akita / Husky / German Shepherd mix with a huge heart and a deep love for his people. He’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and takes his role as protector of the home very seriously. Once he bonds with you, he’s all in — the kind of dog who will love you unconditionally and always be by your side. He’s fully potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go out or wants to come back in. He doesn’t chew anything that isn’t his, but give him a new toy and he’ll happily destroy it. He loves to play fetch, enjoys attention, and does best when he has space to run or someone who can give him plenty of physical activity and structure. He’s up to date on vaccines and microchipped, and he’s a smart, attentive dog who really wants to connect with his person. Benson would do best in a home with a large, fenced yard or with someone very active. He needs to be the only pet in the home.

She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##1125958##

Story
Say hello to Blue!  This tiny 9-pound Chihuahua/Min Pin mix is just one year old and full of love — he just needs a little time to show it. Blue can be shy when meeting new people, and being touched feels a bit scary at first. But if you give him a little patience and let him warm up at his own pace, you’ll get to see the sweetest transformation. Once he trusts you, he turns into the biggest little lovebug. He adores curling up in your lap for scratches, snuggling on the couch, and following you around like your tiny best friend. He loves going for walks and gets so happy to play with other dogs. He’s also good with cats! Blue would be happiest in a calm, quiet home without young kids, as too much activity can overwhelm him. He’d thrive with a single person or a couple who can give him consistency, kindness, and lots of love. He’s potty trained, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He's all ready for his fresh start! He may be a little shy at first, but once you’re “his person,” you’ll have the most loyal, cuddly companion by your side. Blue is being fostered in Salem, OR and is available for meet and greets with approved applicants. If you think this sweet boy could be your perfect match, please fill out an application at SpringBranchRescue.org. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. If needed, our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We can book your new baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then please fill out an adoption application found at SpringBranchRescue.org.  ##2658971##
