Story
Lemon is a sweet, energetic, and loving cuddle bug. She's very affectionate and will drown you in kisses if you let her. Despite her size, she thinks she's a lap dog, and you can find her there most times if you're hanging out on the couch or in bed reading. She needs a family with an active lifestyle and a large yard to run around in, preferably with another dog to play with as she's grown up with one since she was a young pup. We are rehoming her because she has developed some destructive tendencies due to lack of exercise and we have come to the heart-breaking conclusion that our family is just not the right fit for her. She needs more open space and long walks to get her energy out, but she will play with you forever if you let her. Lemon will become the bright sunshine in your life that you never realized you were missing, the little sparkle of joy, and a source of endless love and affection.

Story
Jesse was born on a farm and was rehomed to me when she was 3 years old. She is currently 8 years old and her birthday is September 7th making her a Virgo. We’ve had an amazing life together. She has recently had one of her eyes removed. She has not changed a bit since the operation. Other than a permanent wink, she is very happy and healthy. Her temperament is very calm. She loves hikes but loves walks around the city just as much. Jesse is the perfect dog to take on adventures and the perfect cuddle companion.

Story
I love Huey so much, but I have come to accept that my health condition is not letting Huey live his best life. He needs a better outlet to let out his energy, run, sniff, and play tug/games. Huey needs an experienced dog owner that can help him with leash reactivity. Huey lives with a cat just fine, and a 10year old kid, but is leash reactive towards animals and some people when on walks. He is making progress with obedience training. Huey is friendly with guests that come into our house. Huey is 65lbs, but thinks he’s a 10lb lap dog. Huey is good with a few commands like sit, lay down, place, paw, leave it, wait, and I’ve taught him to scratch his nails on a sandpaper board. We are still working on his recall, drop it, and heel. Huey is NOT a counter surfer, but loves to sit next to me while I cut veggies.

Story
Freya is a sweet, smart, loving girl, approximately 1 year of age. We started fostering her in November of 2023, fell in love with her and adopted her. We have 2 other dogs - and one of them has not been able to accept Freya and despite all of our efforts in training etc… she makes Freya’s life miserable. Freya has a wonderful personality. She sits, lays down, shakes, waits. She is crate trained and although she currently lives in a home with no children, she was fostered with a family with children and did well. She had been enrolled in ongoing obedience training and really wants to please. We are still working on her leash work (she pulls). Our trainer is willing to talk with any potential adopters about Freya. Freya should not be in a home with cats. She wants to chase at every opportunity. She would do great in a home where she can get a lot of exercise but also cuddle and be a couch potato. We want Freya to have a wonderful life with a loving family❤️

Story
Daisy was rescued from being chained to a car fender with no food or water. The residents had moved and left her—according to a neighbor. The chain was 10’ and her only shelter was under the car. She was laying in her own feces. Someone I know took her from there, I got her healthy, spayed, rabies vaccine, vet checked etc. Daisy is pit bull mix, she looks like an Amstaff to me. She is super sweet, affectionate, eager to please and wants to be around her people. She enjoys playing with our young cat and leaves the older one alone.. She loves snuggling on the couch or a soft blanket on the floor. Did not test kennel training but I suspect she is fine with it. At first she never barked until she heard another dog bark and now she’s alerting. She walks okay on a leash, I did not test her walking skills past the front yard perimeter, but she is NOT a runner. Very sweet disposition. I’d like to keep her but my GSD says NO, so it’s not fair to her when I can’t show affection in return..
