Scooby made it safely to Wisconsin and is loving life in his foster home! This gentle senior may have reached his golden years, but don’t let that fool you — he’s still got plenty of spunk and joy left to share. Scooby enjoys short walks, soft beds, tasty treats, and spending time with his people. He’s a happy, easygoing guy who’s just thrilled to be part of a loving home again. At around 11 years old and weighing about 78 lbs, Scooby is best guessed to be a Boxer mix. He’s well-mannered, affectionate, and great with other dogs. He’s respectful, calm, and has settled beautifully into home life. He’s believed to be potty trained, keeps his space clean, and has shown no signs of being destructive. Scooby’s gentle nature and soulful eyes win everyone over instantly. While he’s content to nap the day away, he still has bursts of energy and playful moments that remind you just how much life and love he has left to give. Adopt a Pet from Mutt Life! Looking to add a furry friend to your family? At Mutt Life Rescue of Wisconsin, we have loving pets waiting for their forever homes. Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Meet Dylan Dylan’s story is one of love, growth, and second chances. This 10-month-old Mastiff is currently in Northern Illinois and has been living with a wonderful family who gave her a chance, but they’ve realized she’s simply more puppy than their household can manage right now. With little kids and a senior dog with arthritis, Dylan’s big, playful personality just isn’t the right match — but that doesn’t take away from what an amazing girl she is. We are hoping to get Dylan into a foster home with Mutt Life Dog Rescue sometime this week (1/12/26). Dylan is a goofy, affectionate, super squishy-faced puppy who truly loves people. She is great with kids and adores them, but because she’s a happy, bouncy 70-lb puppy, she can accidentally knock over smaller children when she plays. She does well with other dogs and would thrive with a canine friend who enjoys playtime, but she’s not the best fit for senior dogs who prefer a calmer lifestyle. House trained and crate trained, Dylan already has a great foundation. She’s currently working on her leash manners and continues to improve every day. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find a home that can keep up with her joyful energy and help her continue learning. Dylan would be an excellent match for a family with older kids, an active adult household, or someone with another playful dog who can match her enthusiasm for fun. Age: 10 months Gender: Female (Spayed) Weight: 70 lbs Breed: Mastiff Spayed/Neutered: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Leash Manners: Needs work Good with Dogs: Yes (best with playful dogs) Good with Cats: Unsure Good with Kids: Yes (best with older kids) Dylan is a wonderful girl with a huge heart and so much love to give. He is adjusting well to life outside the shelter and is already showing off his happy, playful personality. Now that he’s here, Brody is looking for an adopter who can give him the structure, activity, and love he needs to thrive. Meet Brody Brody’s story is one of resilience, potential, and second chances. This 1.5-year-old shepherd mix is a joyful, energetic young dog who is eager to learn and grow with a family of his own. Brody was found as a stray in Georgia and is missing part of his left ear, which shelter staff believe was likely bitten off by another dog. The injury is fully healed and does not affect him at all. It simply adds to his unique character and charm. Despite whatever he experienced early in life, Brody remains friendly, social, and full of enthusiasm. Since arriving in Wisconsin, Brody has proven to be a bouncy bundle of puppy energy with a love for play and exploration. He enjoys zooming around, chasing toys, and turning everyday moments into fun. He is smart, goofy, and affectionate, and he thrives on interaction with people. Brody does well with other dogs and would benefit from an active home that enjoys exercise, enrichment, and continued training. He is still working on his leash manners and will need guidance as he continues learning. His potty training and crate training are still being assessed as he settles into a routine. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Brody has incredible potential and is eager to become a well-rounded companion. Brody weighs approximately 45 pounds and is now ready for his forever home in Wisconsin. As part of the Packer Litter of five, Love waited months for her chance to leave the shelter behind. She has now safely arrived in Wisconsin and is settling nicely into her foster home. Meet Love Love is a tricolor Lab mix with a heart as big as her name. She is approximately seven months old and weighs around 35–40 pounds. Despite her rough beginning, Love is sweet, friendly, and affectionate. She is dog friendly and kid friendly. While she has not been cat tested, she is still young and would likely do well with cats given proper introductions. Having grown up in a shelter environment, Love is just beginning to learn the basics of home life. She will need continued help with potty training, crate training, and leash manners. Love is eager to learn and will thrive in a home that can provide patience, consistency, structure, and plenty of love. 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫: 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 is doing great. For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Meet Ariat Ariat’s story is one of survival, strength, and resilience. This approximately 5-year-old mixed-breed girl has been through far more than any dog should, yet she remains gentle, loving, and trusting. Ariat was surrendered to a Georgia shelter along with her four puppies as part of a severe neglect case. The individuals involved were charged with cruelty to both children and animals, and the dogs were living in extremely poor conditions. Shelter staff were told this was Ariat’s fourth litter of puppies. Despite years of hardship, Ariat never lost her sweet nature. Now spayed and heartworm negative, Ariat will never have to endure another pregnancy. She can finally focus on being cared for instead of caring for others. Since arriving in Wisconsin, she has shown herself to be calm, affectionate, and easygoing. She enjoys human companionship and has a nurturing, gentle soul. Ariat does well with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a wonderful fit for many types of homes. She currently weighs about 42 pounds and is the perfect medium-sized companion. She would thrive in a home where she can feel safe, loved, and truly part of a family. Ariat is now ready for her forever home.
