Story
Nala was found on the side of the highway in AL and was brought to a rescue here in WI. We brought her home in winter of 2017, when she was about 2 yrs old, and she had no idea what to think about the snow! Nala has been a part of our family for 8 years. She is a huge sweetheart who love to cuddle and be a couch a potato, but she still enjoys walks and playing fetch and hunting for small animals in the yard. Nala knows basic commands, walks great on and off leash, doesn't beg for food or counter surf. She is afraid of storms and will shake with heavy panting. Nala has developed some bad separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is home most of the day. Her anxiety has caused her to become destructive while we are at work. She is not crate trained and has hurt herself previously trying to get out of one. Nala gets along with other dogs, kids and babies and even chickens She truly has been a great dog to have in the family.

Story
Ivy is a sweet, affectionate girl who adores her humans and loves being close. She’s happiest curled up on the couch, following you from room to room, or tucked under the covers at bedtime. She has so much love to give and forms deep bonds with her people. We’ve had Ivy for about 2.5 years, and finding her a new home has been a hard decision. It’s become clear that Ivy would thrive best as the only pet in the home. About a year ago, she began having challenges living with another dog, which we’ve successfully managed by keeping them separate. Ivy needs a calmer, single-pet environment to feel secure. This doesn’t define Ivy, it simply means she needs the right fit. In a home where she can be the center of attention, she is loving, gentle, and devoted. Our hope is to find Ivy a safe, quiet, and loving home where she can be someone’s one and only. We’re happy to answer any questions and help find the best new home.

Story
We’ve had Koba since he was a puppy. He’s been a great companion and great around kids and other dogs but we have 2 other dogs as well that are trained to play competitive AKC sports and now we’re also expecting a baby soon. We’d just love for Koba to go to home who has more time for him. If I were to describe him, I’d say he is a super laid back dog that is a little more independent than most other labs. I imagine him being great with someone who is older and just looking for someone to hang out with around the house.
