Story
Lola is a 7-month-old, 25 lb mixed breed who packs big dog energy into a perfectly portable size—and the best part? She’ll always have that adorable puppy look. This girl is pure fun. Lola loves playing with other dogs, would thrive with a young playful canine sibling. She walks nicely on leash, coexists peacefully with cats, and would absolutely shine in activities like agility. She’s attentive, curious, and very food motivated—making her a great candidate for continued training. Lola is also your classic “shadow dog,” happiest when she’s close to her people and part of whatever you’re doing. Lola is working on her house and crate training and making great progress. She does best with routine, patience, and a family committed to helping her continue to learn and grow. Lola requires a standalone house. Lola does have a unique need. She experiences some urinary issues and may have a little “oops” moment when she gets stressed or really excited to see you (which, to be fair, is because she just loves people that much!). With a consistent routine, management tools like doggie PJs or frequent potty breaks, and a patient, understanding home, she does wonderfully. What Lola really needs is a home that will embrace her joyful spirit, support her as she continues to learn, and appreciate that her little quirks come from a place of loving life so much. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, goofy best friend to grow with your family, Lola is ready to meet you. Apply for an opportunity to speak with Lola’s foster family and learn more about this special girl! Story
Meet Miley! Miley is a sweet and adorable 4-year-old Dachshund mix with a gentle heart and a loving personality. She absolutely adores people and gets along well with other dogs. She’s still learning what it means to be part of a fully loving family, so she’ll do best with patient humans who are willing to help her build confidence and show her how good life can be. Miley does wonderfully in a crate — she’s quiet and sleeps comfortably as long as her people are nearby. When left alone, she may bark a bit, but she’s making progress as she settles in. She’s also working on potty training and truly trying her best. She’s gentle with both people and dogs, but don’t be fooled — Miley loves to have fun! She enjoys walks and does great on leash. She does have a prey drive, so a home without cats (or with very cat-savvy owners) would be best. Miley is a loving, playful girl who just needs the right family to help her continue to blossom. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, she’s sure to thrive. Story
Chad is an agile 1 year old Rat Terrier mix with long legs and a goofy personality He does best with consistent people who provide structure and a sense of safety, which helps him continue to grow and feel secure. He is more dog-focused than people-focused and truly enjoys being around other dogs. He tends to do best with female dogs but can also be matched with the right male, as he is not dominant. While he isn’t overly clingy, he will seek out affection from his people at times. Chad is a quiet dog who rarely barks, both in and out of his crate. He has good house manners and only chews his own toys. He is fully potty trained and crate trained. He naturally matches the energy of the dogs around him, which makes him easy to integrate into a home with other dogs. He enjoys car rides and long hikes with his people, but does best in calmer, more predictable environments. Chad is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. He is not a match for a home with cats or with children under 13. An adopter committed to respecting his parameters will help ensure his continued success. Story
Pandora (Dora) is a 1 year old German Shepherd mix, about 55 pounds, with a sweet and steady personality that makes her incredibly easy to have in a home. She has lived as a pet before, and it shows. She understands general house manners, has had no accidents in her foster home, and is friendly and confident around new people, kids, cats, and dogs alike. She has a medium energy level and is happy to be part of whatever you’re doing without being overwhelming. Dora is especially gentle and respectful, never jumping up on people, and has done beautifully around energetic kids, in large crowds, and in a multi-pet home. She gets along well with other dogs and simply ignores cats, making her an easy fit for many households. Dora bonds closely with her people and does best in a home where someone is around more often. When left alone for long periods, she can become vocal, although she is otherwise very quiet, or a bit restless. Because of this, she is not suited for apartment living and will thrive in a home that can offer consistency and presence. She is up to date on vaccines, takes monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, and is spayed. Dora is an enjoyable companion to live with and is ready to settle into her new family. Story
At 4 months old and around 20 lbs, Jade has blossomed into the perfect mix of playful energy and gentle affection. She’s soft and careful when playing with the little dogs, yet confident enough to hold her own with the big ones. Jade loves her playtime, but she’s just as devoted to her snuggle sessions. Once she melts into you, you’ll be hooked, her velvety fur and warm, trusting cuddles make it nearly impossible to stop petting her. She’s still a puppy, so continued potty and crate training will be important, but she’s doing great! With her sweet nature, playful spirit, and heart‑melting snuggles, Jade is ready to bring warmth, laughter, and companionship to her forever family.
