Meet Chad, a fun-loving, medium-sized Rat Terrier mix with long legs and a goofy personality! Chad loves running around, playing, and going for walks. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and an active canine playmate. Chad tends to prefer women and does best with someone who is consistent, firm, and patient. He takes a little time to warm up, but once he feels comfortable, his snuggly side starts to come out. He generally does best with female dogs, although he can also be a good match with the right male dog. He isn't dominant and naturally adjusts to the energy of the dogs around him, which helps him fit nicely into a home with other dogs. Despite his playful side, Chad is a pretty quiet guy who rarely barks, whether he's hanging out in the house or relaxing in his crate. He does best in a calmer environment and has great house manners. He sticks to chewing his own toys and is fully potty trained and crate trained. Chad is almost 2 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and receives monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is not a match for a home with children under 13. Chad will do best with an adopter who understands and respects his boundaries while also giving him the activity, consistency, and patience he needs. Although she is a young dog, she'll bring old soul energy into your home. Individuals with medical, veterinary or T1D experience are encouraged to apply. But if you don't have experience, that's okay too! We will teach you! 😊 We are looking for a committed family to adopt Princess. Our goal is to make this a smooth transition and we are here to support you with training and $200+ in donated diabetic supplies. Princess is a one-year-old, spayed 35 pound mixed breed. Her foster family is very familiar with type 1 diabetes and is ready to share their knowledge with you. They are committed to being a long-term resource for any adopter. Princess is a gem; she is a happy thriving girl who enjoys neighborhood walks, playing with her dog friends and chewing on toys. She is house and crate trained. Gentle on leash. Quiet. Loves car rides. She is best matched in a routine-oriented home, with adults or teen children. She is great with calm dogs and lives with cats, but she would also love to be an only child. Princess receives daily Insulin shots, eats a consistent diet and requires monitoring of her blood glucose levels. Her new owners will need to invest in her ongoing care. Her favorite things are toys, romping with dog friends and sharing the sofa with you on movie night.🎬 Jade loves spending time with her foster family. She is energetic and active, but also loves quiet time in the evenings. Jade is crate trained and is working on basic commands. Jade's new family should be confident dog owners prepared to continue her training plan. 💚 She is smart, trainable and eager to please. Jade is working on excitability and manners and she is best matched in an aged 13+ home. Jade experiences occasional urinary oopsie moments when she is excited or overstimulated. Her foster family says this is a manageable behavior and they will share tips with adopter. We are hopeful that she will outgrow it, but she needs a family that is committed to loving her no matter the challenge. Jade lives with dogs in her foster home, but she would do fine as an only pet or paired with dogs that let her take the lead. She also lives with dog-savvy cats, but she does need gentle reminders not to pester them. Jade is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly preventatives.
