Story
Sushi is very loving and active. He is great with people and kids, not aggressive at all. He needs a home that will be attentive to him and has time to let him use his energy. He does go potty outside but is at the stage where if he doesnt get enough attention or enough play time he will chew things up (like any puppy). Hes very sweet and just wants to lick you to death. He is also a MINI GOLDEN DOODLE, he will not get bigger than what he currently is.

Story
Mugi is a purebred Miniature Pinscher. We bought him as a 3-month-old puppy, after my wife did the research and arranged the contact. At that time, she was caring for her 90-year-old father in our home, who had a dog of his own. Both her father and his dog have since passed away. My wife then returned to her full-time role as the music director at our church. Three weeks before this past Easter, my wife was hospitalized and remained in the hospital for about three months before she passed away. During this time, I traveled 2.5 hours each day to visit her in the hospital and returned home each night to be with Mugi. Now, I am relocating and, unfortunately, cannot take Mugi with me.

Story
Katie is almost 7 years old, having spent her first 6 years in a puppy mill. She will require a human with patience and gentleness as sudden noises put her on alert. A home far away from fireworks would be best. She is fostered in a home with both dogs and cats & gets along with all.Earning her trust is not an immediate event, but once you do, she will want to be by your side nearly all the time. Her favorite place to eat is next to her human. As well as sleeping in the same bed."Outside" is becoming more familiar and knows doing her business outside makes her human happy. She also uses the pads inside and her groomer describes her as "a very good girl".Even though she hasn't really figured out "toys" yet, she is very treat motivated. She is being fostered in Hammond IndianaApply to adopt at nbstr.org

Story
Meet Moe! He's a 3-year-old Maltese/Terrier mix who is looking for a new home due to very unfortunate circumstances. His previous owner has a terminal illness. Since Moe's world was recently turned upside down, he is afraid and timid at first but has warmed up tremendously after a good grooming and some treats. Moe is as sweet as can be, house-trained, walks great on a leash, and even knows some commands. He gets along well with other dogs but would also be happy as an only dog because he loves all the attention he can get. Moe has never been around children and lived in a quiet household. He is a cute, little snuggle bug and will make a fantastic companion.Apply to adopt him: www.nbstr.org
