Story
Loki is my best friend. He is a very loyal, intelligent and loving dog. Most of his behavioral issues stem from being protective around me. He has never bitten anyone, or come close. His defense includes barking and circling. He is 55% MAS, 25% Aussie, 25% Border Collie. He loves to play fetch, run around, and cuddle on the couch. We have an 11month old and Loki is having a very hard time adjusting. I do not trust him near our son and he has made several moves that are alarming while our son is learning to crawl. He is excellent with small dogs, and people he knows, but he is not great with children. He would be best in a home with no small kids. I don’t feel like he is living a fulfilled life and is constantly overwhelmed by our son’s development and attention. I have no deadline for Loki to find another home, and it has to be the right fit for all parties. I care deeply about his happiness and setting him up for success.

Story
Nikki is the sweetest and friendliest 9-year-old Hound x German Shepherd-mix female, and she weighs 75 pounds. She absolutely loves people, always has a big smile on her face, and is very affectionate. She is one of those dogs that just loves to be at her person’s side. Nikki is housebroken and crate-trained, but she needs a home with no other dogs. She is excellent on leash, walking right by her person, and behaves very mannerly around the public. She is a trained dog – she knows “Heel”, “Sit”, “Stay”, “Come” and “Down”. Also, she has done an agility course and loved it. Nikki is great in the car - she has no problem jumping into the back of a SUV - and also does well during grooming. Nikki was owned by an elderly man who had saved her from one of the high-kill shelters in 2015. She was his service dog and they lived in a retirement home together. Sadly, her owner had a terminal illness and died during the pandemic of 2019, so Nikki has been looking for a forever home ever since. Nikki is a very gentle, kind soul, very calm in the house and a velcro dog that follows her person around. She will be a wonderful companion for someone who is older and home a lot. What type of home does Nikki need? • A household with or without kids, as she loves everyone • Someone who is home a lot • A home where she can be an only-dog • Since she is very agile and can jump, a yard that is enclosed by a min. 6-ft. tall fence We are located in Los Angeles. If interested in Nikki please submit an application on our website, www.angelsbarkrescue.org For questions on Nikki please email us at: angelsbarkdogrescue@gmail.com

Story
Courtesy Post for Rovers Retreat Rescue Organization AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION💞 Located in Los Angeles Rescued from a home that had him chained all day. Kramer is a 2-year-old English Setter male weighing 55 pounds. He is a very sweet, friendly, cuddly and loving dog. Being young and active, he needs an active home with daily activities like walks, hikes or dog park visits. He loves playing with other dogs, so a home with another playful dog would be great or an owner who likes to go to dog parks. Kramer also loves spending time in the yard, chasing birds and squirrels. He lives in a foster home with small- and large-dogs and does well with all of them. He tries to initiate play with the small dogs, but his foster-friends are slightly older and can’t keep up with him. Handsome Kramer much enjoys going for walks but pulls a bit on the leash, so he will need some leash training with his future owner. He is active and playful during the day and pretty calm in the evenings: after dark, he just lies down and sleeps. Kramer is housebroken, knows how to use a doggie door to go in and out all day. In addition, he is great with visitors and has no guarding issues around food or toys. Overall, Kramer is a wonderful dog that just needs an active home. A house with a yard would be perfect for him, so he can run, play, and chase birds. However, he is obsessed with cats, so a cat-free home will be best for him.

Story
LOCATED IN SACRAMENTO, CA Lou is a total gem! He gets along with dogs, cats, adults, children…you name it this boy is all it! Lou was on the heavy side when he came to us but since being in his foster home, he has lost a total of 8 pounds and currently weighs 82 pounds. We are so proud of him! The vet feels that he should be about 70 pounds…he is a big boy but a pure lap dog. Lou is house trained, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He rides well in the car and loves his walks on a leash. He is a total snuggle bug and loves to cuddle up with his foster Springer companion. Lou was shot when he was 3 years old and has 2 BB shots lodged in his left sinus. This has left Lou prone to an ear infection in his left ear and nasal discharge. The good news is this is totally manageable with daily ear drops ($22 per month) and 1 pill for his sinus ($48 per month) and a weekly ear flush that is done at home. Lou is looking for someone who will be committed to giving his meds daily and following up with regular bloodwork. This is an absolute must for this boy to remain healthy. If you think that you are that special person for Lou, please complete the adoption application below and a volunteer will reach out to you.

Story
This adorable boy had a very rough go of it. He was adopted from a shelter, and found in horrible condition in a good samaritans backyard. We immediately rushed him to our emergency vet. There he was medically cared for. Miracle is legally blind. He can see shadows in daytime and is remarkable at getting around. At night he can't see at all. Miracle is loving, fun, super easy going. His sight issues don't deter him at all from any activities. He loves his walks like every dog does. He weighs around 16 pounds. His only care he needs is an eye ointment which is applied 2x a day. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, and contract are required. Please direct all questions to shopbnb@gmail.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.
