Story
Nelly Mary is the sweetest 4-year-old petite Ridgeback Shepherd-mix, and she weighs 55-60 pounds. She is the friendliest dog ever - loves everybody she meets and her tail doesn't stop wagging. She loves going for walks, is great in the car and has no problem jumping in the back of the SUV. She is housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door. Mary behaves well when left alone and is not destructive. She did great during her vet visit (giving kisses to the doctor) and also does great at the groomer’s. This sweet girl is absolutely adorable and has a wonderful, cute personality that will put a smile on your face. She loves playing with toys - she flips them over, catches them, and she acts delighted at her own prowess. She is a medium-energy dog, loves running in the yard and chasing squirrels. She is not an escape artist and doesn't try to jump the fence. Mary is good with other dogs: she lives in a foster home with a few other dogs and does well with them, but has no interest in playing with any of them. She does wonderful with visitors to the house and is wonderful meeting people on walks. In general she is quiet at home and will only bark in warning. Overall, she is an easygoing, very happy girl. She will benefit from some leash training with her future owner. After years of suffering from a neglected ear infection, Mary was dumped at a shelter by her owners, who denied this poor girl the medical care she desperately needed. The infection had done irreparable damage to Mary's ear, and this sweet girl is now deaf in one ear. After we rescued Mary, she was finally able to undergo a TECA-BO (Total Ear Canal Ablation and Bulla Osteotomy) procedure. Unfortunately, Mary's ear was in such a state of disrepair that the only option for the vet was to remove the infected tissue entirely. Mary's entire ear canal and middle ear were removed, leaving only the ear flap. As a result, Mary is now deaf in one ear. We are devastated that the neglect by Mary's careless former owners has caused her irreparable harm. Overall, Mary is a great dog - an easygoing, happy girl - and someone will be fortunate to have her in their life. Mary is located in Los Angeles. If interested in her please submit an application on our website, www.angelsbarkrescue.org. For questions on Mary please email us at angelsbarkdogrescue@gmail.com The adoption fee for Mary is $300.

Story
Magic is a 16-month-old beautiful and affectionate Black Lab-mix that weighs 70 pounds. This handsome boy is very friendly - his tail doesn’t stop wagging and he loves to give kisses: he is wonderful with everyone he meets and immediately starts giving kisses. Magic is absolutely wonderful with dogs of all sizes and just loves to play. In fact, he goes to day care and does well with all the dogs. He walks well on leash and doesn’t pull much, but when he does he shows that he is strong, as he enjoys sniffing during his walks. Thus, he will need some basic obedience training to learn his commands. He does great on car rides (is generally calm and also curious and looking outside), does really well during vet visits (he keeps giving kisses to the doctor during the exam), and creates no problems when getting a bath. Magic is a young, active, very athletic dog that will need an active owner - someone who will take him for walks, hikes, and even running or swimming. This wonderful boy loves water, so if you jump in he will follow you and swim with you in the ocean. Magic is housebroken in his foster home and knows how to use a doggie door. He follows his person everywhere - a velcro dog. He has no problem being left alone and is not destructive. Magic needs a 6-ft. fence at a minimum and should not be left outside in the yard alone until he settles in. He goes to dog parks and does great meeting new dogs, also having no problem when meeting dogs during his leash walks - quite a dog, in general. Magic is a wonderful dog: calm in the house, loves his walks, so an active home would be great for him.

Story
Woof! Woof! My name is Hershey. I am 6 months old (Jindo Mix) and weigh approximately 6 kg. I was abandoned by my own family in a small town located near Yongin, Korea. When my rescuer discovered me, she assumed I had a home and thought I escaped. For days, she was driving around the small town looking for my family. No one showed up. My personality is excellent. I am currently receiving basic training from my vet. I am looking for a family who will love me for a lifetime. I am great with kids and furry friends. I do prefer a home with no small children. Although I have no problems with kids, aunties at Joey & Bailey want to make sure I get zero stress. Should you be interested in adopting me as your new family member, please fill out our adoption application on our site to be considered as potential adopters. We highly encourage you to read our FAQs page on our site. PLEASE NOTE: All of our recently rescued dogs are currently fostered in Seoul, Korea by our volunteers. Our adoption process may be stricter than any other rescue organization as these rescued dogs are traveling over 5500 miles to be with their new permanent family. You must be at least 25 years old to be considered an overseas adopter. For serious inquiries only. Please note, we monitor all pets after adoption. We prefer adopters that are active on any of the social media accounts. Thank you!

Story
Amy is one of the 3 dogs rescued from the Namyangju puppy mill by our previous partner rescue group. Amy was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), which could progress to an untreatable condition if left unchecked. However, no surgical treatments were available. We consulted cardiologists for Amy's condition as her primary doctor could only offer basic care. The unanimous decision was immediate surgery to save her life. Fortunately, after ending our previous partnership, we managed to arrange Amy's surgery. We chose between a conventional procedure and a costlier, yet safer, ACDO method. Amy's surgery was successful and she stopped her diuretics immediately. With ongoing care, she may be off heart medication within a year or so, leading a healthy life, which is our ultimate goal. Every day her condition is improving and Amy is finally ready to find her forever family. She is 6 years old and weighs 5.4 kg. She is great with kids and dogs. Should you be interested in welcoming this princess as your forever pet daughter, please fill out our adoption application on our site.

Story
Miel (a female) and Miru (a male) found themselves in a high-risk shelter in Incheon, Korea, after their previous owner was unable to finance their necessary patella surgeries. Fortunately, we rescued them just in time on the day they were set to be euthanized. For a brief period, the two were separated since Miru required additional medical attention. It became clear how deeply bonded they were; Miru, playing the protective older brother, frequently cares for and cleans Miel's face. They genuinely cherish each other's company. Both Miel and Miru are friendly with children and other dogs. They also love car rides without any hint of motion sickness. Our hope is to find a family willing to adopt them together. It would be heartbreaking to split them, especially since they've experienced abandonment once before and lean on each other for comfort and support. Both are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and on monthly prevention for heartworm/flea/tick. They have amazing personalities and we guarantee you will fall in love with them as soon as you see them. We're looking for a family who will take care of both for a lifetime.
