Story
Aurora is the kind of dog who radiates warmth the moment you meet her. At just two years old, this spayed Pit Bull girl is a mild, gentle soul with a soft way about her — the kind of dog who seems to smile with her whole face and whose tail wags with quiet happiness rather than chaos. She moves through the world with a sweetness that’s impossible not to love. Aurora is very much a *people dog*. She forms deep bonds with her humans and loves having her person all to herself. Because she attaches so wholeheartedly, she prefers not to share her home with other dogs — she’s happiest as the one and only, soaking up all the affection and returning it tenfold. It’s part of her charm: she loves her people with her whole heart. On leash, Aurora is a pleasure. She walks with an easy, steady rhythm, checking in with her handler and enjoying the simple joy of being by someone’s side. She’s friendly and sociable with everyone she meets, leaning in for pets, soaking up affection, and offering tender little kisses in return. There’s a lovely, lady‑like grace to her, paired with a kind heart that shines through in every interaction. Aurora’s gentle nature makes her an easy companion in any calm, loving home. She’s the type of dog who will curl up beside you, follow you from room to room with quiet devotion, and greet each day with her signature smile. She’s affectionate without being overwhelming, sweet without being shy, and steady in a way that makes her feel like a comforting presence. She is available for adoption in the Greater Los Angeles area and is ready to bring her soft spirit and loving heart to a family who will cherish her. Story
Chip “Chippy” is a 4-year-old, 63-lb Labrador/Cattle Dog mix (DNA tested) and neutered. He’s a high-energy adventurer who loves off-leash outings, road trips, and playing with dogs of all sizes. Chip bonds quickly and will be your loyal “ride or die” companion — whether running trails or curling up for belly rubs. Highly intelligent and sometimes mischievous, Chip thrives with a strong leader to guide him. Sensitive and soulful, he has a touch of FOMO (non-destructive separation anxiety) that has improved through his live-in training program. Thanks to that training, Chip has solid recall, knows sit, down, and place, is crate-trained, and doesn’t resource guard. A limited-ingredient diet keeps his stomach happy and healthy. Chip’s adoption includes required training sessions to transfer his skills and ensure a smooth transition. He’ll bring comfort, joy, and plenty of laughs to an active, dog-dedicated home ready to keep him on their toes. For inquiries and/or to apply to adopt Chip, please contact his trainer and rescuer via email at: blkatk9@gmail.com or send a message via Instagram @blkatk9. Chip is available in Colorado, although transport may be possible for the right match.

Story
Pong is an adorable, large 10‑month‑old German Shepherd mix with a bright, playful personality and a huge capacity for affection. He and his brother Ping were brought to the shelter as young strays after being found dumped at a dog park at just five months old. Pong hasn’t let that beginning define him — he’s blossomed into a cheerful, loving pup. He enjoys playing in the yard, splashing in water, chasing toys, and going for walks. At the shelter, Pong loved greeting visitors and spending time with staff — he’s friendly, social, and full of happy energy. Pong is a fantastic dog who’s ready to bring joy and companionship into a home. He is available for adoption in the Greater Los Angeles area and can be placed separately or with his brother Ping.

Story
Maverick is a Gorgeous dog and so majestic in his nature. He is smaller than he looks in pictures. If you are a calm but assertive person looking for a wonderful dog companion, MAV could be your guy. Maverick was saved from a backyard with other huskies. He is only about 3 to 3.5 years old at most. Most of his young life he has had to make decisions. He kept the pack in order and not because he was trying to lead but because the puppies all flocked to him and looked to him for guidance and protection. Maverick is now with a foster family that has relieved him of feeling like he has duties and he can now just be a dog. He has a playful side. He gets goofy. He is still very friendly with other dogs and kids but he is also perfectly content clocking out, relaxing and being a passenger. He has a calming energy that is so soothing to humans. We love this boy and we know his forever family is out there and we can't wait to meet you.
