Story
We have had sid for almost 3 years now and loved him deeply all this time. he is around 12-13 years old now and well behaved. we've never had any issues with him and humans. he has lived with multiple dogs and cats before. He still loves to play games such a fetch and just running around chasing us. He loves going on long walks, but his legs start to shake badly after about an hour and a half, while his mind is still young we've found his body just isn't keeping up like it used to. He loves the outside and especially winter. we have found that you need to be watchful with him around overly rambunctious pups 2 times since we've had him we've had young pups try too much to play with him and run into him and he does not like that. as he has gotten older he has had problems holding in his bladder, so we keep the diaper on him to avoid any spills. We would have loved to keep him, but since My wife and I are moving out of country we need to rehome him.

Story
🐾 Meet Atlas – Our Longest-Waiting Adventurer 🐾 Atlas is a 4-year-old Catahoula mix who has been in the rescue program for almost 4 years, and we truly don’t understand how this incredible dog is still waiting for his forever home. Atlas is great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends. He is cat-friendly, but he can be a bit much for them since he always wants to play—so he’d do best in a cat-free home or one with a very tolerant, confident cat. This guy is active, athletic, and always ready for an adventure. Walks, outings, and staying busy are his jam, so he’ll need an active family who can keep up with his enthusiasm for life. Atlas does have some separation anxiety, but it is very manageable and continues to improve with routine and structure. And here’s the really cool part—Atlas has competed in THREE OneWorld Canine Biathlons and absolutely crushed it, even placing 2nd in one of his races! 🏅 This dog has both brains and brawn. 📍 Fostered in Huntsville, AL 🐶 Good with dogs 🐱 Cats with conditions 🏃 Adventure-ready & athletic Atlas has waited long enough. He’s loyal, driven, and ready to be someone’s best adventure buddy. If you’re looking for a dog who will truly be your partner in life, Atlas is your guy. 👉 Apply to adopt at www.forrescue.net Rescue: Friends of Rescue 💙

Story
If you’ve ever dreamed of a dog who believes personal space is overrated, Tilly might just be your perfect match. She is a certified Velcro dog—always happiest when curled up beside you, leaning against you, or volunteering as a lap warmer. Once Tilly chooses their person, that bond runs deep and loyal. Tilly is affectionate, gentle, and thrives on one-on-one time with their humans. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, working from home, or heading out for a walk, she will be right there, soaking up every moment together. This pup does best in a calm, predictable environment where they can feel secure and connected. When it comes to other dogs, Tilly can be selective and prefers slow, thoughtful introductions. They may do best as the only dog in the home or with a compatible canine friend who respects their space. Because of this, continued guidance, structured introductions, and an adopter who understands dog body language will help her feel confident and successful. Tilly is house trained, crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in meeting her please fill out a non-binding application at forrescue.net and her foster mom will be in touch.
