Story

We adopted Koda from the Humane Society in 2013, and she has been a loyal and loving member of our family ever since. She is now 12 years old. She is a mixed breed, approximately 45 pounds, and despite her age, she remains very active and enjoys staying engaged with her surroundings. Unfortunately, she has developed some minor incontinence issues that require a little extra attention. While we do our best to manage this, our increasingly busy lifestyle and the demands of our children’s ages make it difficult for us to provide her with the consistent attention and care she deserves at this stage of her life. Because of her age, she also has a harder time around smaller toddlers. Our home is becoming increasingly busy with our children’s friends and this clearly is becoming more and more stressful on her. She is a sweet dog who thrives with companionship and would do well in a home where someone has the time and patience to give her the extra care and love she needs.
