Story
?? Meet Chico — Goofball Extraordinaire! ??Chico is a 2-year-old, 20-pound chonk of a Lhasa Apso with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and plenty to say! This talkative, goofy boy is one of those dogs who can’t help but make you smile. ???POTTY TRAINED?YES KIDS,DOGS&CATSChico is looking for an active household where he can be part of the family and have plenty of fun. He previously lived with children ages 3–11 and absolutely thrived with kiddos around. He loves to play fetch and is a smart boy who enjoys having things to do.He loves to play with the other dogs here and he is said to be good with cats.Chico is in rescue through no fault of his own. His family’s living situation changed, and they simply could no longer afford to provide the care he needed. There were definitely tears shed when they handed over his leash. They loved him and knew that making this difficult decision was what was best for Chico. ??Chico does have sensitive skin, so his forever family will need to be committed to keeping up with his care. He’ll need professional grooming about every 6-8 weeks, along with medicated shampoo to help manage his skin issues and a good-quality diet.In return, you’ll get a smart, playful, talkative, goofy little guy who is ready to be someone’s best friend. ????Could Chico be your guy? Give us a holler! ?????? www.nbstr.orgAdopt. Love. Save a life. ??

Story
Introducing... Handsome! Yes, that`s his name and after his grooming we can see why! ??Handsome is an 8 year old full sized Golden Doodle who`s quite the gentleman. He`s house trained, crate trained, loves car rides, knows several commands and gets along well with other dogs. Fun fact, Handsome loves to howl with firetruck sirens! Don`t let his age fool you, he`s an enthusiastic lover of walks, playing catch and enjoying his toys! A quieter home with someone around most of the time is what he`s originally used to. That being said he`s adapted well to his foster home and a busier family lifestyle. Let us know below if you`re interested by applying to adopt at NBSTR.org

Story
Hello! I`m Precious, and I`m on the hunt for my forever home. I’m looking for a low-key environment with a patient and loving owner, and a fenced backyard would be ideal. I’m still learning to trust people and leashes, but I’m getting more comfortable with treats, and toys. My foster parents say I’m sweet and that my yoga stretches makes them laugh. If you have the patience and love to help me continue to grow, I’d be thrilled to meet you! Fostered in Milwaukee, WI.
