Story
Fozzie needs a forever family!Fozzie is my favorite kind of dog, what I like to call wonderfully weird. Let’s start with the fact that he has no teeth. It’s true, he recently had to get all of them pulled because he had exposed roots. So now his tongue hangs out and his chin gets a bit wet. Then it kind of looks like he has a handlebar mustache. And he has a very feisty attitude. If things are new, he can be a little scared, and he will let you know in a very feisty way. My husband says it’s a bit reminiscent of a TanTan in Star Wars. But two seconds later he wags his tail and wants to play! He’s just a hoot.He also likes to snuggle, gets along great with other dogs, but takes a little time to get comfortable with men. A patient one will win him over, though. He is 7 years old, perhaps a terrier mix, and was found as a stray in Texas . This guy will bring character, laughs and a wonderfully weird love into your life! Fostered in Wauwatosa.Apply at www.nbstr.org

Story
Whisper came into animal control as a stray and needed to have an eye removed due to injury she suffered somewhere along her journey. She is healed from her surgery and we are finding her to be a sweet little 8 pound love. Whisper is very social, loves to be close to her people and hang out on your lap. Seems to be potty trained and is good with other dogs and cats. She hasn’t been around kids yet so we`re not sure but she seems like a happy social butterfly. Whisper is fully vetted and ready to find her forever family. Apply to adopt at NBSTR.org.

Story
Meet Shelby, my newest foster! Shelby came to me as a stray from MADACC and is now settling in and learning what it means to feel safe and loved.Shelby is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a sweet, gentle personality. She’s doing really well with potty training and is making steady progress every day. She’s also learning how to walk on a leash. New things can feel a little scary for her right now, so she’s still building confidence.Even though she can be shy at first, Shelby really shines once she feels comfortable. She absolutely loves being held, cuddled, and gently petted. She’s happiest when she’s close to someone who makes her feel safe.Shelby is looking for a patient, loving forever home that will help her continue to grow and blossom. If Shelby is meant for you, apply to adopt at NBSTR.org
