Story
Dynamo is described by his foster as the super sweet puppy who flies under the radar. He is the second smallest of his litter, and loves to snuggle up and cuddle with anyone who will let him! While he is overall pretty chill, he doesn't forget to tell his littermates who is boss when he needs to. Dynamo and his littermates were born in Wisconsin, after their very pregnant momma arrived from Texas on November 14th...just hours before going into labor with the pups on November 15th. He’s had a calm, loving start to life, giving him a great foundation as he grows. Sky gets along great with other dogs, is fostered with children and loves them, and has started his potty training. His new family should be prepared to continue with his training as he learns the new routine in his forever home. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and vet checked, and he comes with his medical records. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. Story
Abel is an adorable 3 month old male puppy. He currently weighs about 12 pounds, and we anticipate him to be medium size when fully grown. He has a beautiful black and tan coat. Abel and his brother ended up at a shelter in rural Texas due to no fault of their own. He is excited to be in his Wisconsin foster home, but can't wait to find his forever home! Abel loves people and plays well with other dogs. He is working hard on his potty training skills, but his forever family should be prepared to do more training while he learns the routine in his new home. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. We use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south eastern Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. Story
Hey… I’m Spud! My brothers and I started life together — left at a vet clinic when we were only a few hours old. We were tiny, confused, and needed help fast. Thankfully, we found people who showed us love right away. I’m a Boxer mix, and while I’m small, I’ve got a big, steady heart. I’m doing great now — eating well, growing stronger every day, and learning how this whole “puppy life” thing works.I’m pretty proud that I already use my potty pads, and when I’m not doing that, you’ll probably find me hanging out with a soft toy or watching what everyone else is doing. I like my world calm and kind: I enjoy other dogs, Cats are okay with me, and Gentle kids are my favorite. I’ve been loved since the very beginning, and it shows. I’m sweet, thoughtful, and ready for a family who will keep showing me what love looks like. If you’re looking for a puppy who’s easy to love and hard to forget… I’m right here.   Spud is eligible for our Puppy Starter Package, included in his $400 adoption fee. New puppy parents will go home with a small bag of puppy food, martingale collar, leash, a small Mumbies chew, and puppy treats — everything you need to start off with success from day one.   All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. If you are interested in meeting this animal, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.BestPawsRescue.com   Spay/Neuter PolicyAny animal that has not been spayed or neutered at the time of adoption will require a signed Spay/Neuter Agreement and a refundable $100 deposit (payable by check or electronic payment). The procedure must be completed within six (6) months of the adoption date. Once Best Paws Rescue receives acceptable proof of the spay/neuter procedure, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter.Failure to comply with the terms of the Spay/Neuter Agreement within the required six (6) months will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If the procedure is performed by one of Best Paws Rescue’s approved veterinary partners, the full cost of the spay/neuter is covered by the adoption fee. Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts. ##2617396##

Story
Meet Batman – the Sweetest Meatball with a Big Heart! Batman is a handsome Pitty mix with a big head, an even bigger heart, and a silly side. When meeting new people or entering new environments, he can be a little shy at first. He prefers to sit back and observe, taking everything in at his own pace. Give him a few minutes, though, and once he feels comfortable, Batman’s silly, affectionate personality shines right through. Batman loves being outside and truly enjoys playing with other dogs. He also adores affection and does especially well with older children. Because he’s a stocky, happy guy, he’ll need a home without small children—not because he’s aggressive (he’s absolutely not!), but because once he’s comfortable, he can’t always contain his zoomies and could accidently hurt a small child. In his foster home, Batman has met cats and does well with supervision. He’s curious and wants to play, and sometimes doesn’t realize that his size could be a bit much—so a patient, attentive home would be best if feline friends are involved. One of Batman’s favorite parts of the day is cuddle time. He’s a champion snuggler and has a serious weakness for butt scratches. He also has excellent house manners: he’s potty trained, doesn’t bark much, and settles nicely in his crate at night. Batman is looking for a special family—one that understands he just needs a little time to warm up to new people and places. If you’re willing to give him that grace, you’ll be rewarded with an incredibly sweet, loyal, and loving companion. Batman is truly an amazing dog, and he’s ready to find the forever home he deserves. Story
Meet Luigi — a shepherd pup who is as adorable as they come. At first glance he looks all black, but look a little closer and you’ll see beautiful hints of brown woven through his fur—just one more thing that makes him extra special. He’s playful, sweet, and loves soaking up attention, whether that’s romping with toys or snuggling in close. Luigi loves squeaky toys, new sounds, and a good wrestling match. He isn’t a fan of being inside for too long and is always ready for his next adventure. He didn’t love his first bath, but has been unfazed by rain, snow, and even nail clipping. He’s also pretty obsessed with the dishwasher and never misses a chance to “supervise.” Luigi is off to a great start with potty training and does well with consistent trips outside. He truly shines around kids and absolutely loves their energy, making him a wonderful match for a family ready to raise a puppy. As a shepherd, he will thrive with continued training, structure, and positive outlets for his energy. Luigi is ready to bring endless smiles, cuddles, and puppy joy to his forever home. If you’re looking for a loving, fun companion to grow with your family, Luigi may be your Pawfect Match!   Luigi's Adoption fee is $300 if adopted by 1/30. Luigi is eligible for our Puppy Starter Package, included in his $400 adoption fee.
