Story
London is now going for walks and getting right in my lap for attention and snuggles. He is afraid of cars but once in the park he is good. He is a little weary of strangers getting too close but he is not afraid of other dogs. He only backs away a little for people. He is getting better with the cars every day he likes to sit and watch them pass as opposed to running for his life. I have been working on a bit of cooperative care and I can hold his paws, check his ears and teeth. He is afraid of tools. He goes in a corner for brushing but tolerates it fine. He still loves playing with the other dogs and is not very sound sensitive anymore. He is doing so well and now that he knows the driveway is not the scariest thing in the world he loves the walks. London is pretty amazing. In less than two weeks he has gone from barely getting out of his crate with humans present to soliciting scratchies. He plays with Miss Blueberry, our Aussie pup for hours every day. He is for sure going to become a cuddle bug. He also loves to follow us humans around and watch what we are doing. He is still skittish about new things but is adjusting very well and very quickly with the help of his foster sister. He is still scared to go outside though. Please reach out for more info and watch for updates as he develops in his foster home. Please visit London and his friends on our web page. https://www.midwestbordercollierescue.org/alldogs Location: Northern Illinois Contact: team@midwestbordercollierescue.org

Story
Meet Gracie! Gracie is a 3-year-old petite boxer mix who wants nothing more than someone to forever snuggle with her! Gracie is about 22 pounds – a perfect size. Gracie transferred to TRI mid-March from the Cleveland Kennel. When Gracie arrived, she was emaciated and it was evident that Gracie was used as a breeding dog. Gracie has transformed during her two month stay with us! Gracie has a puppy personality even though she is an adult. Gracie is staying at Dog Gone Crazy (DGC) in Medina where she works daily on learning basic manners! She enjoys playing with toys and strolling around the yards. Gracie doesn’t enjoy canine friends right now, likely given her breeding past. While she doesn’t interact one-on-one with others, Gracie does see her canine friends in other areas of daycare. Gracie would thrive as the only dog in your home. Gracie would love an older human sibling to play with. She spends a lot of time with one of the high school assistants at DGC! Can Gracie come hang with you? Complete an adoption application at www.therescueinn.com. Or contact TRI at therescueinn@gmail.com or (216) 369-9141 for more information! TRI is a foster-based, §501(c)(3) volunteer run dog rescue based out of North Olmsted. Donations are tax-deductible.

Meet Tootsie! 🍭 Meet Tootsie, our 2 year old, 9 1/2 pound yorkie girl! Tootsie transferred to TRI earlier this month after being found as a stray and no owner came forth. Tootsie is one sweet charismatic little girl. She has her bags ready to check out of TRI and into a forever home. Tootsie is in foster care with dogs of various ages and sizes. She loves to be silly and enjoys human attention. Tootsie recently attended her first adoption event and enjoyed meeting so many new faces. Story
Meet Tripp! Tripp was born the end of June 2024 and is 11 months old. He is a sheepdog/cattle/heeler mix weighing in about 70 pounds. Here's a bit about Tripp: 🥎 Tripp is a big, exuberant puppy with the high puppy energy to go along. He would excel with an active family. 🥎 Friendly, happy disposition 🥎 Does great with dogs of all sizes 🥎 We recommend older children since Tripp is big and his energy may scare young children, or he may knock over the little ones 🥎 A fenced-in yard would be ideal so he has room to run 🥎 Crate trained 🥎 Housebroken 🥎 Still very much a puppy so will need structure like any other puppy 🥎 Loves to play fetch with volleyballs or soccer balls 🥎 A fan of tug-of-war with his rope toys 🥎 Walks outside make him happy! 🥎 Nips when playing or excited (that's both the puppy in him and the breed mix!) 🥎 Has some training background - knows sit and touch If you would like more information on Tripp, email therescueinn@gmail.com or complete an adoption application (best to do so from a computer) here: https://therescueinn.com/adoption-application.html

Meet Levi! How has this pile of cuteness not been scooped up? Past the pesky puppy phase of his life, Levi is ready for his forever home! Meet Ivy! 🎋 Ivy joined us about a week ago when she was fortunate to hitch a ride on one of our transports! She left the breeding life behind without looking back and is ready to be someone's main squeeze! Ivy was born 8/8/2021 and is a lilac merle French Bulldog. Pictures don't do her justice of course! Yes, she can see and hear just fine! Lilac is good in her crate and potty trained. Ivy loves playing with toys and does well with her foster mom's grandchildren. Ivy is around dogs of all sizes, but can be a bit bossy with dogs bigger than her. She loves playing with medium sized dogs. If Ivy might be a match for you, email therescueinn@gmail.com or complete an adoption application via our website here: https://therescueinn.com/adoption-application.html (use a computer, not a phone or IPad).
