Meet Rainbow, the 50-60 pound shepherd mix bundle of pure joy who is ready to splash her way straight into your heart! Turning 7 years young on October 18th, this spectacular girl found herself at The Rescue Inn through no fault of her own, and she is making it her personal mission to bring endless smiles to everyone she meets.
If you are looking for a happy, active adult dog who is past the puppy chewing phase but still has tons of fun energy, Rainbow is your girl!

Rainbow is the ultimate family dog. She is currently thriving in her foster home, where she lives with young humans and has proven herself to be incredibly gentle, loving, and patient. She has earned the official stamp of approval from her foster mom!
Dog Friendly (Big and Small!)
Rainbow is a social butterfly when it comes to canine companions. Her current foster brother is Mo, a giant St. Bernard, and she handles her big brother with total grace. Before coming into foster care, she also lived successfully with a smaller-sized dog. She is truly adaptable and loves having a furry friend around!
Splish, Splash, She Loves a Bath (or a Hose, or a Pool!)
If there is water nearby, Rainbow will find it! She is an absolute water enthusiast.
Whether it’s splashing in a kiddie pool, chasing streams from the backyard hose, or joining you for a day by the lake, water is her absolute happy place.
