Story
Beau will be 2 in February. He is a fixed German Shephard / Siberian Husky Mix. Treat Trained. Knows commands. Can be vocal around new people but acclimates fairly quickly and stays quiet. Good walker. Better as a single home dog with adults and /or older children, no cats. He currently lives with his "sister", a young female German Shepherd, but would likely thrive solo. Active pretty guy who is very gentle, loves cheese, toys, peanut butter, and belly scratches. He e is crate trained, house trained, and has multiple beds & toys we can provide. He loves walks or running in a fenced yard, and horseplay. Due to a progressing cancer diagnosis, we need to find him a loving forever home asap.

Story
Liryc was born on 6/3/2021. He's a very handsome 2 year old and has alway had nothing but the best in his life. I currently rent a room, but I was just notified the landlord is selling the house and unfortunately I can not take him to the apartment I will be moving to.This is no fault of his AT ALL. I only have about a week to move. Liryc did attend puppy kindergarten He is very treat motivated when it comes to asking him to do something for you. He is house broke, with no vices, he does not have accidents in the house or destroy things that are left around the house. He is also kennel broke. He loves EVERYONE especially MEN and children, but he does really love his mama :) He is not a barker unless someone is at the door he doesn't know. Loves to be outside on the leash if there is no fence, loves sticks, fetch, walks and runs. He travels very well in the car. Loves to sleep next to you or in his own bed, (he has 2 I will provide) and LOVES/HAS to be covered up at night.

Story
Snapshot of Trudy: Size? Full Size (35-50 lbs.) Activity Level? I play hard and snuggle hard! Noise Level? I bark when I play! Good with Dogs? I would LOVE a playmate, but would also do fine on my own Good with Cats? Untested but likely fine with dog-savvy cats Good with Kids? Great, but I do jump up! Good with Strangers? I love everyone! Potty Trained? Great, once I'm adjusted to a new place. Crate Trained? I bark some, but quiet down quickly! Shedding? I don't shed much. About Trudy: Hello! My name is Trudy and I am looking for my forever home! I am 6 months old and currently weigh around 30 pounds. I came to Twin Cities Pet Rescue from a reservation in South Dakota with my sister Rebecca. I just love toys, my humans, and dogs that live with me! I am very good at going to my crate and I'm learning to mind my manners when it's dinner time! I am almost a pro with potty training, I just need to know what door to stand by so my humans can see that I need to go out. I like slow intros to new dogs, once they understand my boundaries we do just fine. I love kids, but since I'm still learning not to jump up when I see people, older children would be better for me. I am quite the cuddler and would love to snuggle while you're working or watching TV! I also love to go on long walks. I would do well with another pet or as the star of the show. I would LOVE to find my forever home and am looking forward to meeting you! Story
Snapshot of Rae! Size? King size (50-70 lbs.) Activity Level? I play hard and sleep hard! Noise Level? I like to alert people that something new is happening, but I quiet down quickly! Good with Dogs? I would do best as an only dog. Good with Cats? No cats please. Good with Kids? I love everyone but my energy and size are better suited with older kids. Good with Strangers? I love everyone! Potty Trained? I'm a pro! Crate Trained? Love my crate! About Rae: Hello - I'm Rae and I came to TCPR from St. Paul Animal Control when nobody claimed me. Can you believe that no one came looking for me at Animal Control? Just look at my cute face!!! They think I am around 2 years old and may be a Terrier/Pitt Bull mix. I know how to sit, down (lay), touch, leave it, kennel and that the "uh-uh" sound means I'm doing something I probably shouldn't be. I'm working on learning how to play fetch and I'm not crazy about toys but my current favorites are bones and squeaky tennis balls. I go to my kennel for bedtime and when no one is home, and I hardly ever complain about it. I really enjoy walks and can go for multiple miles (weather permitting). I walk pretty well on leash as long as small animals like squirrels and rabbits don't cross our path, I just think they are so fun to chase! My foster home does not have a fenced yard but I would love the freedom of running without being on a leash. I need regular exercise to burn off energy and keep me out of trouble! If I am able to burn some energy, I will gladly sleep with my head on your lap while you watch a movie. I would also do very well in an obedience class and would definitely benefit from one. I get very excited to meet new people but I don't trust their dogs and will bark to tell them to stay away. I currently share the house with a resident cat, we have met a few times but the cat doesn't appreciate the energy I greet her with and has told me off with a swipe of the paw.. that doesn't deter my enthusiasm, so I may do better in a cat-free home. Because of my size and energy, I would do better in a home with older kids or adults, because my zoomies might knock over a small child. If you're looking for a buddy to sit out on the patio at your local brewery or meet ups at the dog park, we might not be a great match. However, if you want a walking buddy and can throw a ball around for me, I think we could be perfect together. Would you like to be my forever family? Story
Snapshot of Garland: Size? Right now I'm little, but I'll probably be 35-50 pounds when I'm grown up. Activity Level? I have typical puppy energy. Noise Level? I bark when I play! Good with Dogs? I love playing with other dogs! Good with Cats? I live with a cat in my foster home, no big deal! Good with Kids? I haven't had any intros yet! Good with Strangers? I love everyone! Potty Trained? I'm a puppy, still working on it! Crate Trained? I love my crate! Shedding? I have short fur, so I likely won't shed much! Garland is a playful and silly lapdog that will never stop giving you love and affection. She loves squeaky chew toys, bones, and doggie treats. Garland has not met any kids yet but based on her sweet and gentle behavior she will likely do just fine. Garland also does very well in her crate. She is still learning to go outside and use her leash. She's waiting hopefully for her forever family. Do you want to meet her? Story
Size? Right now I'm little, but I'll probably be 40-50 pounds when I'm all grown up. Activity Level? I have typical puppy energy. Noise Level? I bark when I play! When I need to go potty and when I want attention. Good with Dogs? I do well with my littermates, I'm a little shy of new dogs at the beginning. Good with Cats? I'm very curious, but if the cat does not want to play, I leave them alone. Good with Kids? I haven't had any intros yet! Good with Strangers? I can be afraid at the beginning but with slow introductions I warm up fast. Potty Trained? I'm doing well. No accidents lately. Crate Trained? I'm do well but I prefer not to be alone. Shedding? I have short fur, so I likely won't shed much! Hi, my name is Stanwyck. I am from Texas I came to Minnesota with my siblings. I am a very lovely puppy. I love to play with my sister, with toys and sticks. I love attention, I love to cuddle in the couch with humans. Also, I love to run and play. I Love to run outside any chance I get. I can be a little shy when meeting other dogs or new people, I take my precautions and go slow, especially when the dogs are big. I do well with the cat at home, she does not like me close to her, but I check with her every time just in case she changed her mind and wants to play. I leave the cat alone since she is not fun and does not want to play with me. I haven't been to busy places, but I do well when going on walks, I'm learning not to pull on a leash. I sleep in my crate at night. I'm doing very well potty training I will get close to the door so humans can take me potty outside. I'm also good at sitting and shake paws when told. I love food! I get very excited when it is time to eat. Since I love food so much, I learn new tricks fast. Any home will be okay for me since I am a puppy and it might be easy for me to adapt to new environments, but I would prefer an active home with people who gives me attention and a place to run will be a big plus. Adoption Fee: $550 + applicable tax Training Requirement: Obedience Level 1 Required MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you'd like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ or clicking "adopt me!
