*** Bonded Pair--I must be adopted with my BFF Gabby ***Hi there, I’m Gracie — an 8-year-old-year-old female toy poodle. My best friend Gabby and I have been through a lot together. We were found as strays, and when no one came to claim us, we made our way to Animal Ark to start fresh. Gabby and I are deeply bonded, so we’re looking for a home where we can stay side-by-side, just like we always have. Toy poodles are charismatic family pets that love to be the center of attention. They are highly intelligent and take well to obedience training but can suffer from separation anxiety due to their companionable nature. They do well around children and other pets and are well-suited to life in smaller spaces thanks to their petite size. However, these dogs are known for barking, so they may not be suitable for those living close to their neighbors. Also, teach your kids to be gentle with these little dogs, who might be injured by rough play. If that sounds like the kind of life you enjoy, we’d love to meet you. Just send in an adoption application to set up a meet-and-greet. Gabby and I can’t wait to find the family who will welcome us home.

Story
Freya first came to us as a puppy, and now she’s back with us as a young adult — still the same bright, loving girl, just with all the classic energy you’d expect from a Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd mix. She’s looking for an adopter who’s excited about an active, intelligent dog who thrives with structure, exercise, and engagement. Freya is incredibly sweet and social. She does well with other dogs and enjoys being part of the action. While she hasn’t lived with children, she has met kids in public settings and handled those interactions nicely. She should not go to a home with cats, as she is a bit too interested in them. She’s eager to bond deeply with her people and would love a home that can match her enthusiasm for life. If you’re ready for a loyal companion with endless energy, a big heart, and a ton of potential, Freya might be your perfect match.

BONITA   50% off!  Now only $250! Good With Dogs: Yes Good With Cats: Unknown Good With Kids: Yes Kennel Trained: yes DOB: 7/09/25 Spayed: yes Current Weight; Fully Grown – Medium sized Bonita/Nita/Bon Bon – The Queen of Hush Puppies Bonita is everything little girls are made of—sugar, spice, and a whole lot of sass. This delightfully charming tri-colored Shepherd mix doesn’t just think she’s royalty… she knows it. And honestly? So do her foster siblings—because Bonita rules the yard like it’s her kingdom. Full of energy, attitude, and puppy charm, Bonita is the kind of pup who walks into a room and owns it. One look from her big brown eyes and—poof!—you’re wrapped around her little paw. Resistance is futile. She’s cute, she knows it, and she’s not afraid to use it. When she finally slows down (rare, but magical), Bonita loves a good cuddle session and some well-earned belly scratches. She also has a surprising fondness for bearded gentlemen... don't ask, it's just her thing.  Outdoors? That’s her playground. Bonita lives for zoomies, jungle-style adventures through tall grass, leaping over weeds, diving into random holes, and—most importantly—winning stick wars like it’s an Olympic sport. She’s bold, fearless, and unstoppable. Did we mention she’s scary smart? This clever girl mastered the doggie door in two days flat—something her brothers haven’t even attempted. She’s basically a ninja puppy, sneaking in and out of places without a sound. One minute she’s there, the next… she's off chasing butterflies or plotting world domination (or at least sock theft). Bonita is playful, curious, and full of personality. She loves people and other dogs, but she's also respectful of boundaries and quick to pick up on social cues. Bonita is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to bring some serious joy, laughter, and adventure into the life of her lucky forever family.  Ready to welcome this bold, beautiful and brilliant firecracker you’re your life? Apply to meet Bonita at emotionalrescuedogs.org. You will not be able to resist her. Your royal highness awaits. ##2535539##

*** Bonded Pair--I must be adopted with my friend Echo. *** Hi there, I’m Sage — a 5-year-old female Berger Picard, sometimes called a Picardy Sheepdog. My best friend Echo and I have been through a lot together. We were found as strays, and when no one came to claim us, we made our way to Animal Ark to start fresh. Echo and I are deeply bonded, so we’re looking for a home where we can stay side-by-side, just like we always have. The AKC describes my breed this way: “The Berger Picard is an ideal companion for athletic owners. Their rugged constitution, agility, and boundless energy make them eager partners in all kinds of sports, games, and outdoor pastimes. Exercise is a must; prolonged idleness and neglect will likely lead these sensitive, super-smart dogs to destructive behavior.” If that sounds like the kind of life you enjoy, we’d love to meet you. Just send in an adoption application to set up a meet-and-greet. Echo and I can’t wait to find the family who will welcome us home.
