Story
Riesling is from Ruff Start Rescue, she was on a reservation and taken in as a puppy, we got her when she was about 4-5 months old in July/August of 2020. She is coming up on about 6 years old. She is a very sweet and energetic dog! She does well having mental stimulation and physical exercise every day. She currently runs out in a yard and doesn’t mind the cold with her thicker coat. She is trained and likes to learn. We are looking for a loving home that will give her attention, snuggles and keep her active!

Story
Hazzard is a two year old shepherd and staffy mix, one of the sweetest and most entertaining pups I’ve ever fostered. Potty trained, dog and cat friendly, a little rambunctious for toddlers but he would be a great first dog for anyone really. Barely barks and people friendly, and we are still working on not pulling on the leash. Hazzard would come with food and new kennel. Backstory: Hazzard was part of a litter that was raised in an unfinished basement. There were four brothers and he was easily the friendliest while being cautiously protective of his littermates. The mom had been kept in the garage during pregnancy, and we were told by vets that she must have been exposed to some chemicals because some of the pups were showing slight developmental defects. Hazzards teeth were slightly affected, some of the enamel is gone, and we have to avoid him chewing on hard bones. But otherwise he has no lasting issues from his rough start.

Story
Ichigo is 5 years old. He's definitely a fun dog to be around, gets along with all pets or human and is always so curious about new things. He knows a few tricks and loves fetch, although he doesn't like to let go out the toy sometimes. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with IVVD and has been in my care since then. I want him to go to a good loving home as I'll return to office soon and won't be able to care for him as often anymore.

Story
Buggy is pure love and joy with all the energy that comes with that. Eager to please and ready to play Buggy loves walks, running in the yard, and hanging out at the dog park. She’s fairly responsive with basic commands but still has a little puppy energy that distracts her at times. House trained, no counter surfing, past the ‘I chew the things you love’ phase. Crate trained. Buggy will do best in a lively home. She needs about an hour and a half of exercise a day. A morning walk/run, a yard to play in, a trip to the dog park or other young dogs to play with. She’s good with our cat and our older dog (9yr) though the older dog gets tired out and crabby with her. She’s had lots of fun with our young adult kids and has been great with elementary age kids. Zero biting, not really a barker, no aggressive or worrisome behavior. We’ve had changes in work and family and can no longer give her the home she needs. Sweetest dog we’ve ever had and we want the best for her.

Story
Suze (SUE-ZEE) was adopted in Indiana in 2019. She is around 9 years old but has the energy of a 5 year old. She is extremely sweet with everyone she meets. She has lived with cats for the past 7 years and does very well with them. She does not do well with other dogs but has in the past so there's potential that with the right training, she could get along with dogs. Suze is happiest when she can snooze on the couch or in a comfy bed but she also loves being active and would do well with someone who can take her on regular walks. She is crate trained and does well in a crate when left alone. We have loved having Suze as part of our family these past 7 years but due to unfortunate situations, we can no longer give her the care and attention she deserves. She is getting older but has a lot of life left to live and we would love to see her get to spend her remaining years with someone who can care for her properly. She is very loyal and loving and will make a great companion.
