Story

Buddy is currently in Sweetwater, TN but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee! We use Rescue Riders Transport (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road! Rescue website: https://www.woofwooffosters.org/ Buddy was discovered covered in ticks (14 to be exact), emaciated, and matted by a Good Samaritan who searched for his owners to no avail. They got in contact with us and we made room for this special guy at our rescue! Buddy is DEAF but he doesn’t let that stop him!! He loves to use his nose to explore the world around him and still loves to talk to you like your typical husky/malamute mix. 🥰 He can also feel vibrations and this can be a good way to get his attention. Buddy currently lives in a dog run with a doggie door and access to a potty room. Buddy has done well with the 3 year old human on the property and every dog he’s met! He does like to use his nose and paws to greet and communicate with new dogs and humans, so if your dog doesn’t like other dogs in their space, Buddy may not be a good fit for your home. He takes correction from other dogs VERY well and he is all around a goofy, even tempered guy! One of our wonderful volunteers has been working with Buddy on learning hand signals and he is very smart! He knows ‘sit, come here’ and is learning other commands as well. He was cat tested and did great! Please contact us if you would like videos of this interaction! He weighs approximately 69 lbs but is a big boy and is expected to be around 90-100 at his ideal weight! The vet believes he is around 2-3 years old.

Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. Story

This boy was part of a forced surrender. He is a fun one who likes to play. He gets along with other dogs and does well with people. He likes to be petted and just to have some attention. We aren’t sure if he is housetrained, or if he’s even been in a house…. He is a happy boy considering the situation he came from. He does okay on a leash but extra work on it wouldn’t hurt. He would do well in a house with a yard, just to help him transition to being in a home. He should do well with kids as he doesn’t jump too much, but we aren’t sure about cats. He hasn’t had the best of a life but we know a family is out there to give him a great one!! He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

She’s great with dogs, but currently untested with cats. Although, we can test her if needed. Leia is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home! Nebula is a female hound mix pup. Her birthdate is 9/11/23. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm negative, on prevention, microchipped, and should weigh 40-50# when grown. She is crate trained and house trained. She is thriving in her foster home with her siblings and other resident pets. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. Nebula is a smart little girl. She started proving this when she was the first of her litter to figure out how to climb out of the welling box. She gives attention easily and is eager to please. Nebula like to play and is also an affectionate snuggle bug. She truly is the whole package. If this smart cookie sounds like the pup for you please complete an application.
