Story
Meet Oreo... his mom was rescued by our rescue partner in Puerto Rico right before she gave birth to Oreo (Piglet) and his siblings. Unfortunately, for Oreo his adoptive home cannot keep him any longer (through no fault of his own). He is a playful, cuddly little guy. Very sweet and loving pup, crate trained, curious and good with cats, does good on his walks and loves to cuddle. He loves to play so he would enjoy being in a home with another playful pup! We have found that he would also do best in a home without young children. If you would like to learn more about this cutie please reach out. He is a lovebug and deserves his happily ever after!

Story
Hi friends, Due to no fault of her own, Willow needs a new family. My household is fostering her until she gets her forever! About Willow: Spayed, about 4 years old. Seems very healthy with clean teeth and soft fur. Seems to be around 15-18lbs. Looks like a terrier/weiner mix, but who knows. BIG TIME cuddler and lap dog! Loves all people, dogs, cats, babies, even bugs. Adventure buddy - lazy until you want to do something, then she's ready to go all day. Great in the car. Crate trained and reliably house trained. Knows sit and lay down, but very food motivated and seems eager to please. We will be thorough with our interviews. Please feel free to share so we can get this sweetheart her human(s)!

Story
We only service Minneapolis Area, we do require a fenced yard as schnauzers are rodent chasers. Electric fencing is not acceptable. We do this for the ones that have no voice and were puppies and wanted at one time. Being rescues, they don't know you and may run off. For no reason of their own they not wanted anymore and we want the very best, better, and forever home for the ones that need our help. Trixie is a purebred salt and pepper Miniature Schnauzer and is 2 1/2 years old. Being of the terrier breed she is a big dog in a little body attitude. The family feels because they will be having human children, she would be better off in a home that won't make her anxious. If you are aware of dominant females and how to train them to be a good citizen in your household, walking outside, and socializing her let us know. We can not place her in families with kids or visiting grandkids for her to make a mistake. Temperaments of dogs come from breeding. We are not the breeder of Trixie, though with her young age, we believe the right person can make her come out of her shell and just be a dog. Rescuing dogs means unpacking their baggage and we hope we can help her with that. All dogs listed with us are available if you see them on Petfinder. We put them in our Happy Tails, when they are adopted. Rescuing one, seems not to make a difference, though it makes a difference to that one dog.

Story
Meet Atlas 9 month old Atlas will be ready for his forever home that will on go his training, at the end of October. This means a training class. He has been given training in the foster mom's home and is very smart and wants to learn. Rescue exists because people give up on behaviors that are not wanted and don't have the energy or means to take them to school. They are like children and need this. Lucky the initial family realized a puppy was more work than they thought and to give him up now rather than later. Their hopes for Atlas will be placed in active family that can take him for walks, training school, and keep learning. Atlas was also taken away from his littermates at 6 weeks old and another Human Error- He lost that time of learning to play with his littermates. The video shows how much he is learning every day. Wish him well with his neuter surgery. If you live in the Twin Cities, have a fenced yard, and willing to take him to training, let us know and we can send you an application.
