Story
Franklin, or also known as Frankie is a very loyal and quiet 4 year old dog. I’m looking for someone who can take the time to get to know him and all of his quirks. He loves cuddles and long walks. He may be a little apprehensive when it comes to meeting new people, but when you win him over, he is very calm.

Story
Ginger is so sweet and loves her people closest to her so much. She was adopted 9 or so years ago and found wandering the streets of Texas. She has no back ground history but it is clear she was in a dog fighting ring so this probably leads to her dislike to any other animal. She can be very territorial and does not like someone in her space when she’s relaxing or near her face if she gives warning signs. She has biten my niece a few years back and bite our cat a little bit ago. We plan to have kids soon and I would feel more comfortable not putting either party in harms way. It would be ideal if she had a home with no children and no other pets but an owner who can understand boundaries and dog signs and is aware she can be high energy and likes walks even if they might be extra work. Ginger is the sweetest dog she just has some behavior issues that our family cannot maintain anymore with children in our future and avoiding vet visits for our other animals.

Story
Luna was rescued from the Humane Society as a puppy (less than a year old). She is adorable, snuggly, full of energy, and loves to give kisses! We love her dearly. Luna is now 6 and can be a pretty anxious pup and struggles especially with vet visits, fireworks, and busy settings. She also has a strong prey drive. Luna is super smart, and responds super well to praise and treats. She can sit, stay, lay down, come, heel, give you her paw and her recall is pretty good. We are combining households, and Luna's prey drive is just too strong for the other pets to safely live. Luna would thrive where there are other big dogs to run and play with and acreage to sniff and explore with her humans...and perhaps a place where she can live her best hunter life. She does great with other big dogs and big kids, but she hasn't spent a ton of time around small children. We hope to find her a place where she can thrive and run!

Story
Riesling is from Ruff Start Rescue, she was on a reservation and taken in as a puppy, we got her when she was about 4-5 months old in July/August of 2020. She is coming up on about 6 years old. She is a very sweet and semi-energetic dog! She does well having some mental stimulation and physical exercise, but is also happy to be lounging. She currently runs out in a yard and doesn’t mind the cold with her thicker coat. She is trained and likes to learn. We are looking for a loving home that will give her attention, snuggles and keep her active! She is up to date on her rabies vaccine.

Story
Redd came from a farm in Wisconsin when he was just 4 months old. He's grown up with all 6 of my children now ages 6-21. He's been around and lived with babies, toddlers, men, women, dogs, and cats. He's use to a big back yard with a 6 foot fence. He's very good at jumping and can jump a 4 foot fence if he really wants to. He is used to walks on a leash - though we just dont do that very much these days. He's use to a gentle leader when walking on a leash. He's very sweet and friendly. He's done well at dog parks. Only thing about Redd - He chases cats and squirrels :P He is SO LOVED. He will need much comfort and love throughout this processing.

Story
Hazzard is a two year old shepherd and staffy mix, one of the sweetest and most entertaining pups I’ve ever fostered. Potty trained, dog and cat friendly, a little rambunctious for toddlers but he would be a great first dog for anyone really. Barely barks and people friendly, and we are still working on not pulling on the leash. Hazzard would come with food and new kennel. Backstory: Hazzard was part of a litter that was raised in an unfinished basement. There were four brothers and he was easily the friendliest while being cautiously protective of his littermates. The mom had been kept in the garage during pregnancy, and we were told by vets that she must have been exposed to some chemicals because some of the pups were showing slight developmental defects. Hazzards teeth were slightly affected, some of the enamel is gone, and we have to avoid him chewing on hard bones. But otherwise he has no lasting issues from his rough start.
