Snapshot of Gordy: Size? Medium-Large (48 lbs) Activity Level? High -he is a border collie mix, after all! ;) Noise Level? Low Good with Dogs? Yes Good with Cats? Yes Good with Kids? Likely, but no children in foster home. Good with Strangers? Yes Potty Trained? Yes, with appropriate supervision and a schedule. Crate Trained? Yes Shedding? Medium About Gordy: Hi, my name is Gordy! I also respond to Gordo, Gordito, Sir Gordon, and Cheesy Gordita Crunch. I am an adorable border collie/lab mix who wants nothing more than a home to call my own--and, preferably, a ball to call my own as well. I LOVE to chase balls, and if no balls are around, I'll make do with chasing anything you throw for me--stuffies, sticks, ropes... the options are endless. My foster mom says that I'm amazingly well adjusted given my relatively rough history. I was 1 of 16 (!!) dogs rescued from a local home, and I haven't had the best care before now. For example, you might notice that I have a bit of a limp due to a wonky front foot. The vet says that this is likely caused by a ruptured tendon that didn't heal right. Fortunately, it doesn't slow me down at all! I also recently had 8 front teeth removed, including 3 of my canines, which were all fractured, likely from biting at the bars of a crate. Still, nothing can bring down my happy-go-lucky personality (except, of course, when my foster mom puts away my ball for the night). Something else you should know about me is that I tested positive for two tick-borne diseases, Anaplasmosis and Lyme. I received treatment and I don’t have any signs of chronic Lyme infection - which is AMAZING news! I will likely continue to test positive for both of these for the rest of my life due to chronic antibodies. It is possible that I could develop side effects from Lyme later in my life but for now I’m a happy and healthy boy! Here's a bit more from my foster mom: An ideal home for Gordy would be one that can give him lots of mental and physical stimulation. He really enjoys chewing on bones and bully sticks, playing tug with toys, and playing fetch. He's also a smart boy and has picked up on sit, lay down, and crate up very quickly. We're working on some new commands for him to show off! I think he'd do great with someone who enjoys having a dog that can be a companion to them on a variety of adventures! Gordy is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Snapshot of Zeeva: Size? Small now, but likely medium when fully grown. Activity Level? High – I’ve got lots of happy puppy energy! Noise Level? I bark when I play, or initially in the crate, but I’m otherwise pretty quiet. Good with Dogs? Yes! I would LOVE a playmate. Good with Cats? Yes – I ignore them. Good with Kids? I love kids, but I’m still learning my manners. Good with Strangers? Yes – I LOVE meeting new people. Potty Trained? In progress and doing well! Crate Trained? In progress. Shedding? Minimal right now, but that may change as I grow. About Zeeva: Hi there, I’m Zeeva (I also go by ZeeZee and Little Red)! I may be small, but I’ve got a big personality and even bigger heart. I’m a spunky little terrier-mix puppy who loves life and everyone in it. I came to TCPR from a local animal control after I was found as a stray, and now I’m ready for my forever home! People always compliment my pretty eyes and unique coat, but I think my playful, loving personality is my best feature! I love toys, bones, running around the yard, and a good game of tug. Sometimes my little legs move faster than the rest of me and I take a tumble—but don’t worry, I bounce right back up! I’m still growing into these long legs of mine. I absolutely adore other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine sibling, though I could also be happy as the center of your world. I love kids too, but I’m still learning things like personal space, so I can be a little jumpy and mouthy when I get excited. I ignore cats, they're boring. With continued training and guidance, I’m going to grow into a very well-mannered girl. I’m doing great with potty training and just need a consistent routine and someone who can help me keep building good habits. I'm still very young, so it will take awhile for me to be a pro. I’m also learning to love my crate—I bark at first, when I think I'm missing out, but I settle down after a few minutes. At bedtime, I'll sleep in my crate through the night without a peep as long as my crate is close to my person. I’m looking for a family that’s ready for all the fun (and a little bit of chaos!) that comes with raising a puppy. In return, I promise endless kisses, cuddles, and daily laughter. If you’re ready for a sweet, silly best friend who will keep you smiling every single day—I’m your girl. I can’t wait to meet you! Zeeva is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations appropriate for her age. Snapshot of Cinder: Size? Medium! Activity Level? I play hard and snuggle hard! Noise Level? Medium - I let out a high pitched bark to let you know something is going on or when I'm excited but quiet down easily. No shared walls please. Good with Dogs? Yes! I require a confident playmate in my new home. Good with Cats? Yes, they're SO boring. Good with Kids? Yes, dog-savvy kids preferred. Loud noises and fast movements can make me nervous. Good with Strangers? I'm VERY shy at first. But I warm up with treats, time, and love.  Potty Trained? I'm working on it! But I'm almost there.  Crate Trained? Yes, with some encouragement Shedding? Medium Cinder is a beautiful and sweet pup who's learning what it means to be loved, safe, and part of a family. She came from a home with far too many dogs, so she didn’t get the early socialization she needed—but she continues to make incredible progress every day in her foster home and is ready for the next step in her journey: a forever home. Cinder is a bit anxious and will need a patient, understanding adopter who can help her continue to build confidence at her own pace. That said, she loves to play with other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine buddy who can show her the ropes. She’s done great with dogs of all sizes and genders, and she especially enjoys a good game of chase in the backyard. She’s crate-trained for the most part—mealtimes are the easiest time to get her into her kennel! She does well being kenneled when her humans are away or overnight. Potty training is coming along nicely; she doesn’t always give a clear signal yet, but she knows it’s go-time when she’s outside. Cinder is good with cats and has been sweet with the kids in her foster home, though fast movements can make her a bit nervous. She loves treats, any kind of treat, and has a lapdog complex—she’s always ready to snuggle once she feels comfortable. She’ll let you know if something's up with a high-pitched bark, so a home without shared walls would be best. Cinder may be shy at first, but with kindness, patience, and a little routine, she blossoms into a playful, loving companion. If you’re looking for a special dog to help grow into her best self, Cinder just might be the one. Cinder is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations appropriate for her age. Story
We are heartbroken to be looking for a new home for our 4-year-old pitbull rescue. She has been an incredibly loved member of our family, and this decision is purely about safety and giving her the environment she needs to thrive. About her: • House-trained and no crate needed • Very athletic-loves running, exercise, and playtime • Has done great in dog daycare and loves other dogs, lives w/ 1 now • Extremely loving and gentle with her family, including our older child What she needs: She struggles with anxiety, especially around feeling like she needs to "protect" the home. While she is friendly with people outside the home, she can become fearful and reactive (barking, pacing, raised hackles) when new people enter her space. Ideal home: • No infants or very young children • Experienced dog owner (especially with anxious dogs) • A quieter home with fewer visitors or someone willing to work with a trainer • Active lifestyle

Story
We received Mollie from Island Farm Retrievers and Doodles in southern MN when she was a puppy. Her birthdate is 9/25/22, she will be 4 years old this fall. She has been an amazing dog, gets along well with everyone, other dogs, cats and children. We do have a large fenced in yard that she loves to run in. She is very submissive; I have never even heard her growl unless it's "play growl" with tug of war. She is around 50 lbs. Unfortunately, due to life changes, we do not have the time to give her the life she deserves. We are gone way too much and she spends a lot of time alone. She does require frequent bathing and grooming. This has been difficult as well finding the time and money for that. Would like her to go to a home that has experience with doodle breed as this can be more than you expect. She is very playful and has a lot of energy. She is a really good dog that just wants to be loved. Health history - she has had a couple ear infections as these breeds do.
