Meet Milo, an adorable 13-year-old senior dog! Milo and Daphne came into rescue as their previous owner passed away. Although he might be a bit older, Milo still has lots of love and affection to give to his forever family. He would be the most successful in a home with no cats, dogs, and with a fence, preferably a privacy fence. He does not jump fences, but does bark and growl at other dogs so it would be best if he does not have to interact with other dogs. Milo is the perfect companion for someone looking for a more low-key, yet affectionate dog.He loves to cuddle and snuggle. He is used to being alone at home. Milo is very loyal and will stick by your side through thick and thin. He would do best in a calm and quiet home where he can take life at his own pace. Milo may have a hard time getting along with other dogs, but he's sure to steal your heart with his charming personality and loving nature! Despite these hardships, Magdalena has shown incredible strength and determination to heal both physically and emotionally. The last picture was taken during her early healing stages, you can see her courageously taking each step forward, supported by her indomitable spirit. Today, Magdalena is fully healed and ready to embark on a new chapter of her life - one filled with love, compassion, and the security of a forever home. Her gentle demeanor and loving nature shine through every interaction. Magdalena adores human companionship and has a special affinity for belly rubs and leisurely walks. She does well with dogs her size or bigger but hasn't been around small dogs much and doesn't do well with smaller dogs. She has also never been around cats but given her reaction to small dogs, she probably would do best in a home without cats. She thrives on affection and is eager to return it tenfold. Louie is a sweet 3.5 year old boy. He wants to please, but since he was neutered, he's terrified of everything. He's very anxious, but wants to be included in whatever you're doing. He follows me everywhere in the house, and will cuddle if given the chance. He needs a fenced yard, because he loves to zoom, and recall isn't reliable. Outside he's very vigilant will bark at anything he hears or any people he sees. When inside, he will bark at people passing on the street a block away. He has been coached by Canine Coach, and is currently on anti-anxiety medications through MN Veterinary Behavior. He's so anxious, he can override sedation drugs meant to make a vet visit possible -- no one can touch him there. We had a home-visit vet out; she didn't touch him either, even after an hour of feeding him treats. He needs an experienced handler with a quiet house and fenced yard. He needs to be the only pet, with adults. He has nipped when startled.

Enjoys playing and taking walks. He is protective and high strung. He is also very loving. I’ve never had another pet so I’m not sure if he does well with other pets. We adopted Rocky at 3 months old from a rescue. We know both of his parents were heelers, and that he came from a farm rescue with his litter of siblings. He is now 15 mths old. We have done lots of training with him and have another older heeler we also rescued and trained. He is extremely loving and gentle with us and friends, family he knows well. He is extremely smart with a high work drive. However, Rocky has recently developed fear-based reactivity and aggression towards unknown dogs and people. We live on a high foot traffic corner in the suburbs and have an 11 yr old that has friends coming and going frequently, which has become almost impossible to manage with Rocky, and is now a significant safety concern. We feel we no longer have the resources, time, or space to give Rocky what he needs to succeed. We feel he would do very well on some land with less stimulus and with an owner that could give him the time/attention he needs and deserves. He is good with kids, dogs he knows
