Story
Riesling is from Ruff Start Rescue, she was on a reservation and taken in as a puppy, we got her when she was about 4-5 months old in July/August of 2020. She is coming up on about 6 years old. She is a very sweet and semi-energetic dog! She does well having some mental stimulation and physical exercise, but is also happy to be lounging. She currently runs out in a yard and doesn’t mind the cold with her thicker coat. She is trained and likes to learn. We are looking for a loving home that will give her attention, snuggles and keep her active! She is up to date on her rabies vaccine.

Story
Greyson is a loving, loyal 2-year-old with a calm personality. He’s a true velcro dog who loves being close to his people (and he often thinks he is a lap dog!). He does great with our kids (6 & 9), is patient and gentle, and enjoys a mix of playtime, training, and long naps by his human. We are heartbroken to rehome him due to my husband’s allergies, frequent travel to care for an ill parent, and an upcoming move to an apartment. Greyson thrives with companionship and would not do well with extended boarding. He is smart and food-motivated—knows several commands, he is house and kennel-trained, and rings bells to go outside. He loves a fenced yard for exploring and zoomies. He previously lived with our older dog (who recently passed) and has done well with other dogs but needs slow introductions. He can be reactive on walks but we are working on improving that. We will provide his kennel and toys.Greyson would do best in a home where someone is around often. 💛 Could that be you?

Story
Rescued 4 years ago as a puppy, Ziggy is a sweet, curious pup who loves walks, tug-of-war, and proudly shredding his plush toys (he leaves everything else alone!). He uses a gentle leader to help manage his enthusiasm for squirrels, sticks, and new sights. With his adorable face and affectionate personality, Ziggy is happiest curled up next to someone he loves. He can be a little shy at first and may need a moment (or a few treats) to warm up, but he’s eager to please and forms strong bonds. Ziggy would thrive as an only pet, though he generally gets along well with other dogs, and with patience, he can continue building confidence around new people and experiences. Ziggy would make the perfect companion to anyone looking for a sweetie pie to add to their home!

Story
Remy is a very sweet dog! She is very protective of me and very clingy with my husband. We bought her from a breeder in Northfield who is out of business now during Covid. Remy was born 5.29.2020. She weighs around 50 to 55 pounds. She loves to run and chase squirrels, so a fenced in yard is ideal. She is potty trained and will not hesitate to get your attention when she needs to go out. We have not been able to give her the attention she needs as my husband has serious health issues. We are in the process of moving out of the country and want to find a great home for her. She is great with our toddler grandkids. She is not good with strange dogs. She was raised with our 2 cats and our 19 year old Australian shepherd. She gets along very well with my daughter's collie mix. She has been around her since she was a puppy. She does not like beeping noises, smoke detectors etc. She loves squeaky toys, lots of pets and hugs. She would be a wonderful addition to a home with no dogs.

Story
Due to an unforeseen life situation Millie is in need of a new forever home. Millie is a 7-year-old, 70-pound Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever/Newfoundland/Collie mix who is current on vaccines. Loving, loyal, playful, and nurturing, she naturally takes on a motherly role in her multi-pet household, showing patience and kindness to everyone—including kittens. A true “velcro dog,” she loves being close to her people, giving kisses, and soaking up affection. She enjoys fetch, hide-and-seek, swimming, snowy adventures, wooded hikes, and quiet walks away from busy areas. Millie gets excited on car rides to fun destinations but relaxes on the trip home. She walks well overall, though loud trucks, trailers, and some bikes can distract her; treats help keep her focused. Known for her “counter patrol” snack inspections, Millie’s greatest joy is loving, caring for, and spending time with her family.
