Story
Layla is 36 lbs and 5-6 years old and also high energy! She loves to chase balls, but needs a few lessons on retrieving. She'll nose you to get you off the couch to play, and will bark at you until you pick up a ball and throw it. This girl is also a fan of belly rubs, which she will reward with kisses. She has a herding instinct, which has mellowed a bit in the past couple of months. She also will need a home without children, cats and small critters. She needs a bit of time to get to know new people and dogs, and we are working with our vet on this. Layla is spayed and fully vaccinated. She will need a fenced yard and an experienced handler with a strong understanding of the breed and a willingness to provide lots of exercise and tennis balls. Story
Laika is 36 lbs and 3-4 years old. This sweet girl loves chasing and often retrieving balls in the house and outdoors. She loves to sniff around off-leash in a fenced back yard. Turn on your garden sprinkler and she will be entertained and exercised. Laika initiates belly runs and gives kisses to her foster mom as a thank you. Laika is more dominant than Layla and has a strong herding drive, so we recommend a home with no children, cats or small critters. She's a little nervous meeting new people and dogs, which we are working on. Laika is spayed and fully vaccinated. She will need a fenced yard and an experienced handler with a strong understanding of the breed and a willingness to provide lots of exercise and tennis balls. Story
Hi Biggie Paws 🐾 Friends ! My name is Charlie. I am approximately 2 years old, weigh about 59 pounds and I look like an Irish Wolfhound Mix. 🐕I’m staying in Woodstock, IL while I search 🔎 for my Fur-Ever home. 🏡 A place where the humans will ALWAYS love me, 🥹 make me feel wanted and give me lots of attention !! I LOVE ❤️ attention ! 🥰I am good with other Dogs. 🐕 I LOVE ❤️ younger humans …although because of my size (whatever that means ??) it might be best if the younger humans are NOT 🚫 too little. I have been accused of not realizing just how big I am. 🙄 I haven’t been around Cats, 🐈 so I’m not sure how I would do with them ? 🤔I am good about doing my business outside 🚽💩 …as long as I am kept on a schedule. I also do very well walking on a leash. 🦮 When outside, it would probably be best if my new home has a fenced in yard so I’m not tempted to wander. When it’s time to settle in for the night, 🥱 I sleep like a good boy in a crate. 😴If you think we could be a Fur-Ever Family, ❤️ please apply to adopt me using the link below. I AM up to date on all my age appropriate shots, neutered and microchipped ! The fee for my adoption is $450. http://www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

Story
Before coming to Wisconsin, Lance only knew his backyard in Texas. One day his owner died… leaving him and 5 other dogs in the backyard. Our Texan rescue friends went to the property to get Lance and his doggie family out of there, but one of them was not so lucky. 😢Lance was taken into a foster home in Texas where he learned to live in a house 🏠 with people. He’s learned that potty is for outside, a kennel is a safe spot, and to trust people. After his long and stressful journey 🚐 to Wisconsin he had to learn to trust all over again, but children helped! After being given a chance to warm up, Lance enjoys being around people, especially kids! 👦🏼 He can be quiet and shy… then he’ll surprise you with his cute, fluffy tail wags and his adorable, playful demeanor! He’s just starting to learn that couches are comfy and snuggling at the foot of the bed 🛏️ can be delightful. We believe that Lance is a Pomeranian mix. He’s around 4 years old and weighs 13 pounds. He’s also neutered and UTD on vaccines. 💉 Lance walks well on a leash and enjoys being brushed. He does really well at the groomer’s too. 🛁 Although he doesn’t seem to mind dogs of any size, he prefers other dogs or puppies 🐶 that are more his size to play with. He does well around cats too. We’d love to see him go to a forever home that has either children or a size-appropriate companion for Lance so that he can begin living his best life. That is why he came here, after all! ❤️Lance is being fostered in central 📍 Wisconsin and his adoption fee is $450.You can apply to adopt at:https://www.biggiepawsrescue.org DATCP #494550DATCP # 494550

Story
Well Hello, Finley here… pleased ta meet ya! I’m new here, in this place called Wisconsin. I came from Texas where I lived in a house with lots of other dogs. To be completely honest, it smells a lot better here than it did in the house I came from, considering ya’ll put cow manure out on the fields. I’ve been told I was the last little fella to break outta that awful place! And man am I happy about it! I gots to meet a lot of new friends! All the big people I’ve met are fine, but the littler ones are my favorite!! They’re more my size and so much fun to play with. I’ve even made friends with chickens and cats, who neither want to play with me. But that’s alright! I’ll just stick to my small humans and other dogs. The big humans will sometimes put me on a leash, which I don’t like too much, so goin’ for walks just might not be my thing. When we go outside I’m asked to do this thing called “go potty,” which I s’pose I’m doing alright at… I’m pretty smart for just a 3 month ol’ boy! At night when all the boys and girls go to sleep, I lay down in my kennel and take a long snooze too. If I’m in my kennel during the daylight and I gotta go potty real bad, I’ll whimper and whine ‘til I get to go outside. My foster mama says my whining is a hound dog thing… along with my big, floppy ears. They say I might be a Beagle mix, and that I’ll be a medium sized guy when I’m all growed up. I’m just about 10 pounds now so if I wanna hold my own against one of them cats I’ve got some growin’ to do yet! Finley is being fostered in central 📍 Wisconsin and his adoption fee is $500. He is neutered, microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate shots. You can apply to adopt at:https://www.biggiepawsrescue.org DATCP #494550DATCP # 494550

Story
* Attention, attention! * 📣 Calling all humans! One puppy looking for human people …Correction: One ADORABLE puppy looking for a LOVING family (humans preferred)!Hello there! My name is Winston. I am searching high and low, near and far (ok, somewhere in or near Wisconsin) for my forever family …maybe you can help?!As you can probably tell from my pictures, I’m just a small pup - around 6-7 pounds, about 10 weeks old and I look like an Aussie/Chihuahua mix. Since I’m pretty young, I am still getting the hang of some things like going potty outside, learning commands, walking on a leash and redirecting my puppy nibbles. I am doing good for just being a puppy though! My foster family calls me a little firecracker! One minute I’m calm and cuddly, the next I’m ready to play - complete with zoomies, puppy playfulness and clumsiness! That tires me out, and I’m ready for rest and cuddles again - being a puppy is hard work! What kind of humans do you have at your house? I get along with adults and kids! I really like to be near my family and I am extra cuddly when I’m sleepy. Do you know any humans that have dogs already? Maybe a dog who needs a friend? You might be wondering if I get along with other dogs …well, I have good news for you! I just love my dog friends! If I see another dog, I will say hi and greet them with kisses! ❤ ❤ ❤ Especially my brother …and I also like to sleep on the dog bed with him in our playpen. (I haven’t really slept in a crate, but I do okay in one during car rides). What’s that? Cats? I am not sure about them quite yet …my foster family doesn’t have any, but I can update you if I meet one! My foster family thinks I would probably get along well with cats too though since I am such a friendly pup. 😊 Well, I told you a lot about me! Now, I’d love to hear more about you. 😊 Are you a loving family looking for an adorable dog to join your family? Do you need a cute, little, firecracker in your life? If you think we’d get along, apply for consideration to adopt me using the link below!I will be microchipped before adoption and also up to date on all my age-appropriate shots. My adoption fee is $500 plus a $150 deposit toward my neuter. The $150 deposit may be refunded once proof of my timely neuter is given to Biggie Paws.www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550
