Story
Maya is a beautiful, sweet and a loyal companion. She loves to be near you. She will match your energy. She can nap all day or run and play outside, whatever you are doing, she will just love being with you. She is smart and has done agility classes and training. She just doesn't like pop noises like balloons and gun shots. She loves peace and does not love chaos. She would rather be an only dog child. She loves the attention. We have recently had a neighbor put in a shooting range, and this has affected her greatly. Maya is friendly, loving, and enjoys being around people. She is happiest when included in family activities and will make a devoted companion for the right home. This decision has not been made lightly. We simply want to find a family that can give her the love, care, and peaceful surroundings that she deserves.

Story
Meet Freya! She is a loving, sweet bulldog (of sorts) that needs to be Re-homed at no fault of her own. She is kind and gentle with our cat and small dog and loves to rough house with bigger dogs. She loves sweaters and cuddles! Freya has allergies that cause her to scratch herself relentlessly. In the two years that we have had her we have been able to take her from almost hairless to comfortable in her own skin. However she does still have flare up that’s cause her to rehash some problem areas (mainly her chest) The reason we need to find her a new home is due to our concern with the yeasty skin flakes that come off of her while she is having a flare up with a newborn baby on the way. Her treatment consists of a cytopoint injection every 8 weeks and a bath with anti fungal shampoo every ten days. We want ti ensure that whoever may take Freya knows that she does require a little extra work than some dogs but she makes up for it with an extra big heart. Thank you!

Story
🐾 Meet Cuddlebug 🐾Not every dog walks in like they own the place. Some… take a minute.Cuddlebug is Arrow’s sister — but where Arrow is bold and ready to take on the world, Cuddlebug is the quiet one watching from the sidelines, figuring you out first. She’s not shy forever. She’s just careful with her heart. At first, she’ll hang back. Observe. Take it all in.And then one day… she decides you’re hers. And that’s when everything changes. The first time she trusts you enough for cuddles? You’ll understand exactly how she got her name. She melts into you.Leans in.Stays close. Not because she has to — because she chose you.⸻Cuddlebug is a 25 lb wire-haired beauty with the most soulful brown eyes and those big, expressive ears you won’t forget. She’s got a unique little mix that gives her both softness and personality — the best of both worlds. She’s:✔️ Spayed✔️ UTD on vaccines✔️ Mostly housebroken (will use puppy pads if needed)✔️ Good with dogs✔️ Kid friendly✔️ Working on leash skills and confidenceShe loves:• Lounging in the sun• Playing with her dog friends (with a little sneak-attack energy 😏)• Chew toys• Quiet cuddle time on the couch or in bed⸻This is not an “instant best friend” dog. This is a slow-burn, earn-it kind of love. The kind that unfolds quietly…and then suddenly feels like it’s always been there. If you want a dog who chooses you —not just anyone —Cuddlebug is that dog.⸻Adoption Details:• DOB: 9/15/25 | ~25 lbs | Terrier mix (per paperwork)• Adoption fee: $500• Located in Kenosha, WI👉 Apply to adopt at www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

Story
RON 🐾Meet Ron — one half of the infamous Ron & Ethel grocery store duo. 😂Ron and his sister Ethel were dumped in front of a grocery store, which is a pretty crappy way to start life. Thankfully, Ron hasn’t let it affect his outlook one bit. This 9-week-old, 10.5-pound little weirdo is happy, hilarious, ridiculously sweet and comes with one blue eye and one brown eye — because apparently being adorable wasn’t enough.Ron is the kind of puppy who just makes you laugh. He’s smart, easygoing and independent, but also perfectly happy to be scooped up for ear scratches and belly rubs. Basically, he wants to have his adventures and be babied afterward. And adventures are VERY important to Ron. He loves being outside, going for walks, exploring anything that looks remotely interesting and wrestling with his sister. He also enjoys chasing his own tail, which so far remains undefeated. 😂He absolutely loves other dogs and has a blast with his foster siblings. He was also quite interested in cats… until one of them gave him a complimentary lesson in boundaries. Ron took the feedback seriously and is now a little more cautious around his feline superiors. 😆For all his puppy shenanigans, Ron actually has a pretty good head on his shoulders. He’s already crate trained, doing VERY well with potty training and working on his leash skills. Once he’s finished playing and exploring, this kid crashes HARD. There is apparently no setting between “Ron is doing things” and “Ron is unconscious.”His perfect family would be on the active side and ready to include him in the fun. Another dog would be fantastic, and we think he’d enjoy having kids to grow up and play with too.Mostly, Ron just needs someone who appreciates a smart, sweet, slightly ridiculous little dude who somehow went from being dumped outside a grocery store to acting like every single day is the best day of his life.📍 Brantwood, WI🐾 9 weeks | 10.5 lbs🐶 Possible Hound/Aussie mix💉 UTD on age-appropriate vaccines & microchipped💰 Adoption Fee: $500🐾 $150 refundable spay/neuter deposit required✂️ Ron is too young to be neutered. Deposit will be refunded upon proof of neuter completed within the timeframe outlined in the adoption agreement.Life handed Ron lemons. Ron chased them around the yard and then took a nap. 😂🩵Ready to make this little weirdo yours? Apply at www.biggiepawsrescue.org 🐾DATCP # 494550
