Story
📣 IS IT MY TURN YET ? 📣 Seriously, all I want for Mother’s Day is to be able to ditch my needy kids and have someone devote all their attention to me! My name is Xena and I’m a 16 pound, 2ish year old MinPin mix. I was abandoned on a deserted property with animal skeletons littered everywhere. I was rescued and sent up north but then my uncooperative children refused to make a proper entrance so I needed a c-section. There were only 2 of them so they ate so much they developed Swimmer Syndrome and I thought I’d be stuck with them forever. Thanks to physical therapy they have finally caught up developmentally and are running and jumping like normal puppies. They also chase me everywhere trying to get a free drink at the milk bar. They are almost teenagers, for Pete’s sake. Someone help me .. don’t make me spend Mother Day with these little ingrates! I get along with other dogs but I think I would prefer to be an only princess. I would be happy to spend the rest of my life following you everywhere and napping next to you on the couch. I promise to be your loyal companion for the rest of my days. I have not been leash trained yet so a fenced year is preferable even tho I’m not a runner. I’m working on housebreaking and pretty much get it, just need a little consistency .. I truly aim to please my people. I’m being fostered in Richfield , Wi and my adoption donation is $375. I am already spayed , UTD on vaccinations and micro-chipped so I’m all ready to go. If you think you could be my hero and help me escape this never ending nursery, please submit an application to : https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=tg2551&method=online_form_html&formid=21 DATCP #524558

Story
Meet sweet Marley, a 1 year old 56 pound Anatolian/Maremma/Shepard mix who is excited to find her forever home. Marley gets along great with other dogs and has discovered she loves toys and chasing leaves. She loves to play hard for short periods and plop down for a nap wherever she finds a spot. She definitely loves her people time and cuddling. Marley will grow into a very large dog. This breed mix is considered very intelligent and loyal. They like to roam so should have a home with a fenced yard and plenty of stimulation for their active minds and bodies. Marley loves to play and explore the outdoors. She takes her job as security guard seriously and most often can be found in the fenced yard just keeping watch over everything. When she takes a break from her patrol, she fancies herself a lap dog. Favorite treats are cheese, peanut butter and ice cubes in no particular order. Marley is being fostered in Wausau, WI with her sister Ava and Moxie. Her adoption fee is $375. She has had her first set of puppy shots, been de-wormed and micro-chipped. Upon proof of spay, her adopter will receive a $150 refund. If you think Marley would be a perfect fit for your home, please submit an application at: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=tg2551&method=online_form_html&formid=21 DATCP #524558

Story
Introducing Ava, a 1 year old, 58 pound Anatolian/Maremma/Shepard mix who is excited to find her forever home. Ava gets along great with other dogs and has discovered she loves toys and chasing leaves. She loves to play hard for short periods and plop down for a nap wherever she finds a spot. She definitely loves her people time and cuddling. Ava will grow into a very large dog. This breed mix is considered very intelligent and loyal. They like to roam so should have a home with a fenced yard and plenty of stimulation for their active minds and bodies. Ava is the more chill of the sisters and likes to sit and observe before engaging in play. She does better with a slow introduction to other dogs and is slightly more dominant than her sister. Ava is number 2 in the pecking order of her three remaining siblings, but is very submissive to resident dogs (who are smaller). She loves to play and explore the outdoors. Loves being outdoors to be able to “patrol” her area. Will alert to anything that is out of the ordinary. Favorite treats are cheese, peanut butter and ice cubes, in no particular order. Ava is being fostered in Wausau, WI with her sisters Marley and Moxie. Her adoption fee is $375. She has had her first set of puppy shots, been de-wormed and micro-chipped. Upon proof of spay, her adopter will receive a $150 refund. Story
Introducing Moxie .. a 1 year old 58 pound German Shepard/Maremma/Anatolian Shepard pup who is looking for her forever home. Moxie is very playful and hasn’t met a toy she doesn’t like and enjoys exploring the yard. She loves treats and belly rubs. She gets along great with her litter mates and follows the cues of the older resident dogs. Older children are preferred due to her size. She is curious about cats but respects their ‘correction’. She is being exposed to farm animals such as chickens and goats and has shown no aggression. She loves spending time outdoors, either independently or with her people. Moxie is working on leash training and housebreaking skills. She is super smart and food motivated. She is using a doggie door regularly. She will need a home with a fenced yard because these breeds are known to take a stroll and they do enjoy patrolling their ‘area’. Moxie is queen bee with her siblings but submissive to the resident dogs (who are smaller). She loves to play and explore the outdoors. She takes her job as security guard seriously and most often can be found in the fenced yard just keeping watch over everything. When she takes a break from her patrol, she prefers to relax on the couch. Favorite treats are cheese, peanut butter and ice cubes in no particular order. Moxie is super sweet and a little more reserved than her littermates but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up to people and beg for belly rubs. She is playful but will also chill and just observe. Moxie is being fostered in the Wausau, WI with her sisters Ava and Marley. Her adoption donation is $375. She has had her first set of puppy shots, been de-wormed and micro-chipped and had a round of Simparica and Interceptor. Upon proof of spay her adopter will receive a refund of $150. Please note: the Mareema and Anatolian Shepherd breeds are livestock guardian dogs and they will be big, possibly 85 pounds as an adult. These breeds need room to explore and exercise both mentally and physically. They are loyal but can be aloof due to their guarding instincts. Early training and socialization is crucial as they tend to not be accepting of strangers as they get older. These guardian behaviors tend to develop around age 2. Highly recommend doing research before adopting. If you believe Moxie could be the perfect addition to your family , please submit an application to : https://us12b.sheltermanager.com/service?account=tg2551&method=online_form_html&formid=21 DATCP #524558

Story
It is with a heavy heart that I am looking to re home my 7 year old dog Cash. I adopted him without knowing that I am extremely allergic to him. He is a very sweet dog. When I adopted him, I had 2 of my kids living with me that gave him lots of cuddles and petting. Unfortunately now that they are no longer living with us, it is difficult for me being allergic and have had to block off areas of the house, couches and beds which makes me very sad. He has adapted to being around kids, but can be nervous at times. He is a good boy who would thrive in a home with lots of attention. My heart is broken over this decision, but giving him a good home is my priority. He deserves lots of love and snuggles.
