Story
Arwen is a beagle border collie mix. She was born on September 11, 2018. She has lived in a home with children and 1 other dog of similar size. She is a kind, loving dog who needs to be in a home that can provide her the attention she craves. A big yard would best as well. Arwen is best suited in a home with no other dogs as she does not always understand the difference between playing and fighting. This past year she has also developed some issues with walking on her hind legs. We are moving and can unfortunately no longer keep her.

Story
Meet Rosie!Rosie is a 3-year-old dog that we adopted from a shelter two years ago. She is incredibly affectionate, loves attention, and is very loyal to her people. She is full of energy and would thrive with an active owner who has the time and experience to meet her physical and mental exercise needs.Rosie is kennel trained and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. She is well behaved in the house and does not chew on furniture. She gets along well with our other dog, Max, but she does resource guard toys and food. Around unfamiliar dogs, she can be reactive, so we believe she would do best as the only dog in the home.Rosie is also a little timid around new people. While we don’t know much about her life before we adopted her, she will sometimes flinch, cower, or urinate when she becomes frightened, which suggests she may have experienced trauma in the past. She has never bitten anyone. She has a very high prey drive and will chase any small animals she sees in the yard.

Story
Dot is an amazing, sweet, loving girl she’s very smart and a very fast learner. Unfortunately our schedules have changed drastically and we don’t have the time for her like we did when we initially adopted her. we hate to see her go but we know she’ll be much better with someone who has the time for her. She knows most of her basic commands and is almost fully potty trained we still have accidents here and there but it’s normal for a baby her age.

Story
🐾 Meet Atlas – Our Longest-Waiting Adventurer 🐾 Atlas is a 4-year-old Catahoula mix who has been in the rescue program for almost 4 years, and we truly don’t understand how this incredible dog is still waiting for his forever home. Atlas is great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends. He is cat-friendly, but he can be a bit much for them since he always wants to play—so he’d do best in a cat-free home or one with a very tolerant, confident cat. This guy is active, athletic, and always ready for an adventure. Walks, outings, and staying busy are his jam, so he’ll need an active family who can keep up with his enthusiasm for life. Atlas does have some separation anxiety, but it is very manageable and continues to improve with routine and structure. And here’s the really cool part—Atlas has competed in THREE OneWorld Canine Biathlons and absolutely crushed it, even placing 2nd in one of his races! 🏅 This dog has both brains and brawn. 📍 Fostered in Huntsville, AL 🐶 Good with dogs 🐱 Cats with conditions 🏃 Adventure-ready & athletic Atlas has waited long enough. He’s loyal, driven, and ready to be someone’s best adventure buddy. If you’re looking for a dog who will truly be your partner in life, Atlas is your guy. 👉 Apply to adopt at www.forrescue.net Rescue: Friends of Rescue 💙

Story
Meet Bella Bella is a 10-year-old sweetheart who is ready to spend her golden years in a loving forever home. Don’t let her age fool you—this girl still has plenty of love (and a little playful spark!) to give. Bella absolutely adores people and will quickly become your most loyal companion. She thrives on human attention and would do best in a home where she can be the only pet and soak up all the love for herself. She’s the total package: ✔️ Walks perfectly on a leash ✔️ Potty trained ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Calm and well-mannered ✔️ Loves walks and a short game of fetch Bella has a gentle, easygoing personality and would make the perfect best friend for someone looking for a loyal, low-key companion to share their days with. If you’re looking for a devoted dog who will love you endlessly, Bella is your girl. 💖 👉 Apply to adopt at FORrescue.net
