Story
Little Blakely showed up in my yard two years ago. He was abandoned. I tried many shelters got in touch with missing pet associations and no one was missing a dog so he found me and I took him in. I got him checked out by the vet. I got him shots and I got him neutered. He’s a playful little thing and loves to cuddle. He gets very cold outside in the winter, but that doesn’t stop him from bouncing around in the snow. He loves playing fetch and going for walks. He learned how to swim last summer and uses a lifejacket. He is extremely loyal and follows me everywhere I go he has never chewed anything up or damaged anything. I have brought him to doggy daycare on occasion and he has done very well. He is 100% protective of his humans. He will let you know when someone comes to the house unannounced. He has a sweet voice and like to talk sometimes like the little human that he is. He likes learning new tricks and is obedient. He pounces like a rabbit and runs like a rabbit. He is very fast

Adoption Fee: $470 + taxes Location: foster home Meet Andromeda! ✨🐾 Andromeda is the sweetest lady from LA, and she’s been loving her new adventures! She enjoys daily walks, taking in all the new scents, and listens incredibly well. She’s been great with her two foster dog siblings—running and playing when the mood strikes, but just as happy to curl up for snuggles on the couch. If there are people around, you can bet Andromeda will be right there, resting her head in someone’s lap or hand—she just wants love and a place to call home. Could that be with you?

Story
Maggie is an energetic young female that is sweet and smart. Maggie was in a rough situation where owner had too many dogs and could not afford vet care. She had a litter of puppies and was a great mom. We got her spayed and updated on vaccinations so she is very much ready for a forever home! Maggie is a perfect size, not too big and not too small. 😊 She loves attention and is very affectionate. Maggie does great w/bigger dogs and would be fine with older children. She is housetrained and does well on a leash.

Story
Adoption Fee: $660, plus tax Location: Foster Home Hi there, I’m Hazel – a 7-month-old pup with ears so big and expressive, my foster family jokes that the TV signal improves when I walk in the room! (Hey, I’m not saying they’re wrong…) I’m all about playtime once I get to know you and your furry crew — zoomies, tug-of-war, you name it! I do have a little thing for toys… mostly because I think they all belong to me. While I take a minute to warm up to new people, give me a little time and my sparkling personality will come shining through. I’m sweet, loyal, and super chill — even when my foster brother goes on one of his barking sprees. (I just let him do his thing. Not my drama.) If you're looking for a pup who’s equal parts cuddle bug, toy hoarder, and loyal companion, I just might be your girl. Let’s make some magic together! If you are interested in meeting Hazel, please fill out an adoption application on the Carver Scott website today!

Story
Adoption Fee: $370 + taxes Location: Foster Home **The adoption fee listed above is partially sponsored by a generous donor!** Sasha is a loving and well-mannered 3-year-old looking for a new home after her person lost theirs. This athletic and affectionate girl is ready to be your next adventure buddy! Sasha is a fast learner, motivated by both treats and toys, making training fun. She’s always up for an activity. Her favorite activities include tug-of-war and walks. She’s also an excellent runner, never stopping to sniff or mark, making her a perfect jogging or skijoring partner. She’d likely excel at barn hunt or disc dog sports, but she’s just as happy being your loyal sidekick. When the adventure is over, Sasha is the ultimate snuggle buddy! She absolutely loves curling up next to her humans, leaning in for pets, and being as close as possible. Whether it’s lounging on the couch or warming up after a winter walk, she’ll be right by your side, soaking up the love. She’s great with big dogs but has a high prey drive, so she’ll do best in a home without small animals. Sasha is used to living with another dog and misses her sister, so she would love a compatible big or medium-sized male, laid back canine friend. She plays well but needs slow introductions since her excitement can sometimes be misunderstood by other dogs. Check out her playtime here: 🔗 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLS5FLiVr89sq3IRfFGj2KPIla9Ic-pab9 Despite her energy, she’s also a sweet and well-mannered girl—she won’t fuss over a bath or nail trim, and she’s not a toy shredder. If you’re looking for a fun, active, and incredibly cuddly companion, Sasha is ready to be your best friend! Could Sasha be the perfect fit for your home? Story
Adoption Fee: $660, plus tax Location: Foster Home Looking for a tiny lap warmer with a big heart and just a touch of drama? Meet Dewey, a 3-month-old chihuahua mix who’s equal parts mellow, lovable, and just the right amount of ridiculous. Dewey is a gentle soul who gets along beautifully with other dogs and even cats (he thinks they’re mysterious, magical creatures). He loves to play, but his favorite hobby? Being in your lap—curled up, making your heart melt. He's still working on potty training (he’s just a baby, after all!), but he's eager to learn and easily redirected. His neutral, go-with-the-flow personality makes him a dream to train and live with. Just expect the occasional dramatic sigh or theatrical flop when he doesn’t get his way—he’s got a flair for the cute stuff. Dewey would thrive in a home that appreciates a sweet, tiny companion who also knows how to be a little goofy. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted sidekick who just wants to be close and loved, Dewey is your guy. Dewey is spayed/neutered, up to date on necessary, age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative, dewormed and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Dewey, please fill out an adoption application on the Carver Scott Humane Society website today!
