Meet Moonpie! 🌙💗
At eight years old, Moonpie is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl who is ready to find a family to call her own. This mature lady loves being around her people and thrives in a calm, loving environment. She can be a little bashful when meeting new people, but with patience, kindness, and a little time to settle in, her loving personality begins to shine. Once she feels comfortable, she fits right into family life!
Moonpie gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions around. Her experience with cats has been more challenging, as she has chased and barked at her foster's cat, so a cat-free home may be the best fit unless introductions can be managed safely and slowly.
This well-mannered girl has so many wonderful qualities! She's potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and sleeps peacefully through the night in her kennel, snuggled up in her cozy blankets. She doesn't jump on the furniture, enjoys relaxed car rides, and loves getting outside to sniff, explore, and show off her morning zoomies in the yard. She hasn't quite discovered the joy of toys yet, but who knows what she'll learn to love as she continues to come out of her shell!
One thing Moonpie will never be shy about? FOOD! This girl loves her meals and gets especially excited when she sees food coming her way. She's even convinced her foster family that a little canned food mixed into her dry kibble is a must-have!
