Story
Hello! My name is Hans, and I am a 1 year old pure bred German Shepherd, AKC registered. My mom and dad adopted me a little over a year ago from a reputable breeder, but unfortunately they unexpectedly had a baby and sometimes my excitement can scare them. I am very high energy and big/strong. I weigh 80 pounds, I am house trained, neutered, and up to date on my shots. I also live with another dog and do well with dogs in general. I live with a cat too, but dont get along well with cats. I am okay with kids but sometimes I jump and can knock people over. I am not aggressive and have never bitten anyone. I just need someone who can keep up with my energy! I love snuggles and to play fetch. Please help me find a home! 🩷🥺

Story
Lacey is excited to meet her new family! This beautiful pup is 1.5 years old and is 45 lbs. She is sweet, cuddly, spunky, goofy and smart- the whole package. Lacey is a mix between an English Setter, Labrador and Dalmation. Lacey is spayed, fully vaccinated, potty and crate trained. She loves people (male/female/young/old), dogs (except females her size) and is indifferent about cats:-). She is snow white with tan spots on her ears and tummy and oh-so soft. She does great on a leash, in the car and likes water! Lacey has had no trauma and has had the same great owner for the last year with lots of love and training but for health reasons can no longer care for her. Lacey is 100% deaf but responds to hand signals of sit, lay down and stay. She is a fast learner and picks up commands very quickly – so cool. She would do best with a fenced yard, a companion dog and older children as she startles easily from behind due to her deafness. Let's find her the best forever home!

Story
Nala is a very loving and loyal family dog. She is an outdoor farm dog that has her own insulated barn for her living space. She does not like to be indoors for too long and will get bored. She loves walks/runs and does well on leashes and Harnesses. I recommend a thick leash because she can easily chew through the thin extendable ones in seconds. She does not do well around small animals, she will chase them and has unfortunately eaten some of our chickens. This is why we are looking to rehome. We have tried everything we can to prevent this, but it has gotten to the point of having to tie her up so she doesn't go after our small animals is not fair for her. She loves visitors, children and even strangers, but does not do well around small animals. Nala is very loving towards humans. This has been the most difficult decision our family has had to make as she's been with us since she was a pup. She deserves better. She is so sweet and loving. She knows sit, stay, shake hand and high 5

Story
Crus is a 4 year old male neutered American Pitbull. He is a very sweet boy and like to go for walks and sunbathe in the summer. He thinks he should be a lap dog and loves to cuddle up. He like to play fetch and know basic commands. He would do best as an only pet. Cruz does have environmental allergies so does require daily oral medication and his ears cleaned/medicated 3 times a week. His ears a deformed due to chronic ear infections not being treated. Cruz requires sedated nail trims done by a veterinarian. He does have some special needs, but he is totally worth it. He is a very loving and loyal dog.

Story
Adoption Fee: $650, plus taxes Location: Foster Home Penelope also known as Penny is a lovable dog. She loves her walks and will sit down when her people grab the leash, patiently waiting for you to put on her harness for the walk. She is still learning potty training; however, it's mainly little piddles that happen when she is excited and wanting to play with the resident dog. Speaking of dogs, she loves them and wants to play. She is very submissive and will lay down excited, licking another dogs face to let them know she wants to play. She also does well playing with her toys by herself. Mainly her toy of choice is a harder toy or even a stick that she can chew. When outside she likes to lay or sit on the deck and just take in her surroundings. Penny loves treats and comes right over and sits for it. She also has learned wait pretty well when feeding time happens. Penny does well in her kennel when her humans leave for work. We're unsure ho she does with cats or small children, but we think she would do well with a child and could get used to cat. If your home sounds like the right fit, submit an application to learn more! Penelope is about 4 months old, she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with her vaccinations. If you would like to meet Penelope, please submit an application on Carver Scott Humane Society's website today!

Story
Adoption Fee: $460, plus tax Location: Foster Home Big Mama aka Lyric is as sweet as they come! She's is ready to join you on your couch and be the ultimate couch potato best-friend. Lyric came to us from Atlanta Georgia, where she was found abandoned with her puppies in a trailer home. For as rough as her life has been, she is the sweetest dog around and ready to find her forever home. Lyric uses her big pointy ears to listen to us tell her how much we love her about 50 times a day! She "melts when anyone wants to pet her in a bid to get some tummy scratches. Although she is a bigger dog, she is the perfect mix of couch-potato and walk enjoyer. She is incredibly gentle and would make a good fit for any home with other dogs as long as she has a good, slow introduction! Lyric did undergo Heartworm treatment, but she has since been treated and is ready to go home! Lyric is about four years old, she is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. If you are interested in giving Lyric a chance at a new life, please submit an application on Carver Scott Humane Society today!
