Story

Handsome and lovable. Loves to cuddle on the couch or lay in the sun in his kiddie pool. His favorite treat is a kong full of peanut butter and loves to go on car rides especially if its to the dog park or a walk in the woods. He doesn't pay attention to other dogs or humans on the walk, he sticks close to you at all times but will give you a side eye to make sure you are still there. Charlie would do well in a home that is very dog focused, possibly with other dogs that are very well trained and to have companionship. Not aggressive with cats but may be better without them. Unknown with children. He knows his basic sit, shake, wait/stay. Some behaviors that need work is his dislike of kennels, resource guarding, getting his ears cleaned and toes trimmed but if he is taken on regular walks his nails wear down naturally. He loves to go in the water but only up to his belly and he's very curious of everything but also unsure so needs some help understanding the world around him.

Story

Bubba is some sort of pointer mix and is about 4 years old. Such a sweet boy who has always welcomed affection and has such a love for life. When we found him, he was quite emaciated and required proper refeeding and lots of love. Our family felt as though he found us for a reason and therefore he has been at home with us, hoping his owners may respond to social media posts however this never happened and unfortunately, he was never microchipped. He is doing really well right now in regards to having gained appropriate weight and although we will miss him, we are not in a position to keep him long term. Bubba is a high energy dog that thinks he is a lap dog:) Requires ability to get significant amount of exercise daily. Loves walks, car rides and palling around. Knows basic commands. Walks well on a leash but requires redirection with bunnies/other dogs/some people as he will bark. Has started to play along fence line with neighbors dog. Warming up to our FIVE cats :)

Max is a 1.5 year old long haired Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix. He weighs 14 lbs. And is the sweetest little guy. Max and his two brothers Peanut and Luca, were local surrenders. Max is a very sweet pup, and super friendly with people. He loves being around his favorite humans and will follow you around wherever you go. He is definitely the calmest of the three pups. Max gets along great with other dogs as well. Max is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and microchipped. Introducing Doyle! Doyle is approximately a year old. He is a local stray found by a good Samaritan. We believe Doyle is a Lab/Pit Bull mix. Doyle is a smart, vibrant 47 pounds of pure love lap dog. He has expressive eyes, and is so very handsome. He is the best boy in the car! Doyle is a laid back pup and is not big on barking. He is currently being fostered by a family that has an older senior dog, and they get along great. They feed the two dogs separately. And have had zero issues with them. Doyle is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and potty trained! Doyle is a sweet soul who is looking for a family to call his own.
