Story
Meet Coraline (Cora), A bright and joyful 4-month-old Red Heeler mix with a big personality packed into a puppy-sized body! This sweet girl’s favorite place to be is as close to you as possible, preferably attempting to squeeze herself right onto your lap for snuggles. Cora is a smart pup who is already potty trained and comfortable in her crate, giving her a fantastic head start for her age. Like any young puppy, she’s still learning the meaning of “no,” but her eagerness to please and quick mind make her a great student. When it comes to meeting new people, Cora’s enthusiasm shines, she’ll happily bounce up to say hello and share her excitement. With a little continued training, she’ll polish those greetings into perfect manners. She loves squeaky toys, chasing balls, and true to puppy form, has a soft spot for shoes if they’re left within reach! Cora ignores cats and would do wonderfully in a home with children who can match her playful, affectionate energy. She also sports a docked tail and a unique ear coloring that makes her stand out in the cutest way. If you’re looking for a loving, clever, and spirited companion who will keep you smiling every day, Coraline is ready to wiggle her way right into your heart, and your lap! 🐾 All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. Story
The adoption fee listed above is completely sponsored by a generous donor, so her adoption fee is waived! Sasha is as sweet as they come. This beautiful, well-mannered 4-year-old girl has worked so hard with her trainer and has become an absolute leash-walking champ! She’s fully muzzle-conditioned and happy to wear it! Sasha has never shown any people aggression, but she does have a strong prey drive—so she’ll need to wear her muzzle anytime she’s outside for the safety of our small dog friends and any other small critters in your neighborhood. We’d love to see her future home have a tall privacy fence where she can safely enjoy regular off-leash time without her muzzle. She’s affectionate, loyal, and loves being close to her people—whether it’s relaxing after a long day or joining you on adventures. Sasha does well with other dogs with slow introductions. This sweet girl is gentle with her toys, easy to bathe, and full of love to give. If you’re looking for a loyal, well-trained companion who’s ready for her next chapter, Sasha is your girl! 📹 See her in action: 🔗 Watch Sasha’s playlist All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. Story
Meet Twinkie - A Gentle Soul Learning to Shine ✨ Twinkie is a beautiful black and white Sheltie with the softest eyes and an even softer heart. Recently surrendered from a commercial breeder, she is just beginning to discover what it means to be a beloved companion—and every day, she grows a little braver. Twinkie is a sweet, gentle girl who thrives in calm environments. She’s still learning that the world can be safe and kind, so she’s looking for a quiet, patient household that will give her the time and understanding she needs to blossom at her own pace. Watching her come out of her shell is incredibly rewarding—those small victories, like approaching for affection or exploring a new space, feel like big celebrations. She would be perfectly content as an only dog, soaking up the love and attention of her people. That said, Twinkie may also enjoy having another calm, confident dog in the home to help show her the ropes and build her confidence. The good news? She’s cat-friendly, making her a wonderful candidate for many different types of gentle homes. Twinkie may start out shy, but beneath that timid exterior is a loyal companion just waiting to trust and connect. With patience, kindness, and a predictable routine, she will continue to grow into the loving dog she was always meant to be. If you have a quiet home, a compassionate heart, and the patience to help a shy dog find her courage, Twinkie might be the perfect match for you. All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. Story
From the Ship's log of the Black Pearl It has been four months since we last saw land. The crew and I are anxious to find what we hope to be our new forever home. The journey began under dark and foreboding skies and was at times terribly lonesome, but the weather improved a few weeks ago and it's been smooth sailing and fun on deck ever since. With the recent warm weather and favorable winds, we have traveled far and learned a lot. I'm now ship (house) trained, and can go up and down the companionways (stairs). I've mastered sit, working on lay down, and my instructor says I'll have all of my basic commands down by the time we reach port. Did I mention that I've also become crate trained and love the safety and security it provides. When we arrive I hope there will be many long walks and trips to the dog parks as I love making new friends. I'm very social and when I use my play bow to initiate play it works almost every time. I'm told that I have an average amount of zoomies for a pup my age and will thrive in an environment that is puppy friendly and has the time to teach me the ways of the world. On that note, I respond very well to positive reinforcement and I'm very sensitive so raised voices and immersion therapy aren't the best ways to teach and communicate with me. After the turbulent start I'm a little sensitive and shy to new experiences and extra time and understanding will help speed up my full recovery. I'm growing very fast at this point and currently about 5 months old. I'm part Heeler and my foster dad thinks I might have some hound in me as well. But that doesn't really matter. What does is that I'm going to be the best dog you've ever had. I'm very affectionate, gentle and loyal. I'm smart, kind, and will do my best to fill your life with as much joy as I can every day. I'm looking for a fur-ever home that has a lot of love to give and share. If you think we'd be a good fit please fill out the application forms, I'd love to meet you and tell you why my middle name is Spaghetti. All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. Story
Meet Brownie 🤎 Brownie is a sweet recent mama who’s finished raising her puppies and is now ready to begin a brand-new chapter, one that’s all about her. She’s gentle, loving, and has a wonderful balance of independence and affection. Brownie enjoys exploring with the other pups around the barn, but she’s never far from her people for long. She’s also been wonderful with cats and other dogs, making her an easy addition to a multi-pet home. When adventure time is over, Brownie is all about the snuggles. She loves being held and cuddling on the couch, soaking up every bit of affection she can get. With her calm, sweet nature, she would be a great fit for a family with kids. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate dog who’s ready to leave mom-life behind and settle into a loving home, Brownie could be the perfect match. 🐾💛 All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped.
