Story
Crus is a 4 year old male neutered American Pitbull. He is a very sweet boy and like to go for walks and sunbathe in the summer. He thinks he should be a lap dog and loves to cuddle up. He like to play fetch and know basic commands. He would do best as an only pet. Cruz does have environmental allergies so does require daily oral medication and his ears cleaned/medicated 3 times a week. His ears a deformed due to chronic ear infections not being treated. Cruz requires sedated nail trims done by a veterinarian. He does have some special needs, but he is totally worth it. He is a very loving and loyal dog.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Adoption Fee: $460, plus taxes Location: Foster Home Meet Gabby, she is a cattle dog mix who is extremely enthusiastic about life! This girl really loves her walks even though she came with very little experience with leash walking skills. In the beginning, she was all over the place and pulling with great gusto. Her foster family has tried a harness as well as a gentle leader and is making lots of progress with her! They are confident that a consistent training schedule will help her master her favorite activity! She had a very long ride up from Texas and at this point does not enjoy riding in the car, however with time and positive reinforcement, she could learn to love sticking her head out the window! Gabby is very smart and she will keep you on your toes. Since her foster family has been together she has learned sit, down, crawl and is working hard on stay and not jumping up. She maybe a little too rambunctious for younger children, but she would love to play with older kids! At this early stage in her training, she gets into mischief sometimes so her foster family is doing an amazing job with kennel training her when they leave the house. She is very playful, she loves her blue ball and is happy to bring it back to you but she is still working on learning to drop the ball after she returns with it. Gabby loves to run, run, and run! She would love you forever if you had a big backyard for her to frolic in! Gabby is a wonderful girl and loves her belly rubs, and any attention from you. She, in return, also loves to hug you! Gabby is about one year old, she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with her vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Gabby, please submit an application on Carver Scott Humane Society's website.

It was a big trip for Daffy but now that he is settled into his foster home, we have realized what a perfect family dog he is! Daffy is described as an amazing blend of playful and snuggly. We think he would be a great addition to a growing family. During the day he wants to play with toys, run around a backyard and soak up the sunshine. At night, the time is right for some super puppy snuggles, kisses, and lots of love from this sweet boy. Wouldn't it be so fun to see him play in the snow for the first time in his life? Daffy is about three months old, he is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. Story
Adoption Fee: $460, plus taxes Location: Foster Home Barbie, nicknamed Honey since she is so sweet, is the definition of "rescue dog that deserves the very best forever home. She is hands down one of the most sweetest, well behaved dogs. After being picked up off the streets as a 6 month old baby, she has sadly lived in the shelter for 2/3 of her life. Even though she came from a sad situation, she is consistently impressing her foster family with her amazing behavior. She's slowly becoming more comfortable! She has never had a family or lived in a home, so she's a bit more timid than most dogs, but in the sweetest way. She gets nervous and finds a safe zone when there is an unusual amount of high stimulation, so her foster family has accommodated specific spaces to make her feel safe and calm. Her behavior truly says, "please love me. Barbie is super responsive to corrections and she wants to please so badly! Her foster mom taught her sit in under 10 minutes! She is potty trained, she even goes to the door and paws at it! She loves playing outside with the resident dog in her foster home. She's not a vocal pup, she doesn't make a peep in her crate. She has a very submissive personality so far to people and the resident foster dog. Her foster family has multiple young children and she absolutely adores them! She's very cuddly with everyone. She's simply a beautiful soul that deserves a family to show her the love she craves. Barbie is about one year old, she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with her vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Barbie and giving her the home she very much deserves, please fill out an application on Carver Scott Humane Society's website.
