Story
Gunner is an adorable sable male GSD. Gunner lost his mom suddenly and needed a place to go, so we took him in. Gunner had a knee surgery previously, so he does walk a little funny, but that does not stop him from playing with his jolly balls! Gunner should be the only dog in the home at this point in his life. He is crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Experience needed for Gunnar, he’s a great dog, but needs a strong handler. If you are interested in learning more about Gunner, you can apply on our website www.skylarsscholarships.org (the application is listed under the “more” tab).

Story
Maggie is a sweet, loving companion who's favorite thing is simply being around people. We adopted Maggie (age five) in April and have found her to be an incredibly good, loving, and loyal girl. She originally came from a home without other pets or children. While she has been great with our young kids and other dog, we've come to realize that our chaotic home is simply too much for her to thrive. Great on leash, loves fetch. Ok being left alone. Maggie will make an excellent companion dog. We love her and will miss her very much but feel confident she will live her best life in a calmer home. Maggie must go to a calm, routine, adult-only home. She is great with visiting kids or dogs. We must feel completely confident that Maggie is transitioning to a stable, loving environment. This includes an initial visit at our home so you can meet Maggie, followed by a home visit to yours. If you are not comfortable with this process, please do not apply! MN applicants only!

Story
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Hello! My name is Poe and my foster family tells me that I am the best boy!  I am house trained and although I'm not left alone a lot, my foster mom and dad trust me to have free roam of the house while they are away. I sleep in my crate at night, but if my forever home let me sleep in bed with them, I think I'd be cool with that. I do really well riding in the car and my leash skills aren't too shabby. I like stuffed animals and chewing on them is my favorite! My foster home has a fenced in yard where I love to run around, but that is not a requirement for me as long as I have other outlets to get my exercise in. I do get spurts of energy, but I'm not the kind of guy who is in constant go-mode. I am really happy chilling on the couch or in a comfy dog bed. I currently live with cats and other small dogs. I needed an adjustment period to learn boundaries with them and now we live happily together. My foster parents believe that I'd do great as an only pet too. I don't live with kids now and I think responsible and respectful kids would be ok. I sometimes have a lot to say and shared walls wouldn't be the best fit for me. I am treat and food motivated and I get overly excited for breakfast and dinner time. If my forever home took me to a training class, I bet I would be a wonderful student! If you think I sound like I could be the guy for you, apply to meet me. I'd love to see if we are a match! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. Story
Meet Suzy – The Ultimate Couch Queen Looking for Her Perfect Match ISO: A financially stable, emotionally secure, dog-loving man who appreciates a strong, independent, curvy woman with opinions — and isn’t afraid to validate them. Got a trust fund? Great job? Excellent. I’m the kind of girl who knows what she wants, when she wants it, and isn’t afraid to say so. I respect a good leader — just don’t be a pushover. Confidence is key! My ideal date night? Kicking back on the couch, binge-watching TV in the air conditioning. If you’re into hiking, running, or “going for walks to clear your head,” we’re probably not a match. I’m strictly an indoor gal. Anything above 70 degrees? Hard pass. Oh, and if your A/C isn’t running full-time from May through November, this won’t work out. Speaking of couches — big, comfy ones only. If I can’t stretch out, we have a problem. Have another dog? That’s cool, as long as they know I’m the boss. Cats? We’ll see. If they’re wild and doing laps around the house, I might join in or tell them to knock it off — depends on my mood. Other women in your life (mom, sister, daughter, girlfriend, wife)? Totally fine — as long as they aren’t jealous, because let’s be honest… they’re going to fall in love with me too. If you think you can handle this level of fabulous, slide into my DMs (aka fill out an adoption application). You’ll have to get past my foster mom first, but if you can impress her, trust me — I’m yours. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Meet Katie! Katie is a sweetheart who’s ready to find her forever family! She’s fun, silly, affectionate, and full of personality. Katie absolutely loves kids and is wonderful with other dogs — she takes cues from them and respects their boundaries. She’s currently fostered with both small dogs and a big dog and gets along great with everyone! As a playful puppy, Katie would do best with a dog-savvy cat if she joins a home with feline friends. She’s crate trained and about 99% potty trained (though a few accidents are to be expected as she adjusts to a new environment). Katie rides perfectly in the car when tethered, loves spending time outdoors, and can’t get enough of her toys. She’s also a world-class cuddler who loves to snuggle up after a fun day of play. This sweet girl would thrive in an active home that wants a loving companion for adventures, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. If you’d like to meet this amazing girl, please complete an application — Katie can’t wait to meet you! This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Hi! I'm Buckles, a playful pup who loves exploring and learning new tricks. I'm super friendly and nothing makes me happier than playing games with kids. I absolutely love kids, but my foster mom said they should be older kids since I get excited and might tend to knock them over when I'm excited.  I'm always ready for a fun adventure or a cozy cuddle. I'm smart too, so teaching me new things will be a breeze! If you're looking for a loyal friend who will bring joy and laughter into your home, I'm the perfect match. Let's make wonderful memories together! Buckles is working on kennel training She is pretty much house trained She is good with other dogs She doesn’t mind cats  She is scared of my chickens and ducks She knows sit.  She walks great on a leash and recalls well off leash to her name.  We are working on lay down, off, stay, place and touch. She understand the concept but has a very short concentration period so we are only doing 5 minutes of training a few times a day and incorporating a lot of toy and tug action to keep her attention.  She loves fetch and will retrieve the ball and return it.  She’s interested in the water but hasn’t made the jump into the pond.  She is a great puppy with a huge personality that loves the world and exploring all it has to offer!
