Story

My wife brought him home from a place he wasn't be cared for. As a puppy acted as a puppy should,playful,full of energy. We didn't think he would get as big as he is.We also at the time we acquired Shadow we had 3 other dogs. 1 male and 2 females.One day while I was at work my wife told me that Shadow and our other male dog got into a fight.At first the water bottle trick broke them up,however as more and more of the fighting continued it became more difficult to break them up.Luckily I was the only that got bit in the process of breaking them up.My step daughter her child and boyfriend lived with us and witnessed the fights. He never showed aggression towards their child.They found a house to live in close by,so they said they would take Shadow to live with them.I would go sit with him when they had people over,because they were not sure how he would act towards strange people.He is very protective and as my wife puts it "a great cuddler". Will explain more to adopting people.

We purchased Mia 3 years ago as a puppy. We recently moved and she is not doing well with the change and is experiencing behavioral issues, anxiety and having lots of accidents in the house and in her crate. Our prior home had a large yard where she could run and burn off steam. We have a small yard and she doesn’t have much space to move around. She is an active breed; a mini Australian Shepherd, who would do better in a different environment. She gets along well with other pets and children.

🐾 Meet Kiara! 🐾 Kiara is a sweet, smart, loving, playful 1.5-year-old female coonhound (birthday Nov. 9). She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Kiara loves toys, playing outside, and running around. As a hunting dog, she has a strong prey drive and loves to chase animals, so she would do best in a home without cats. She has never hurt our cats, but she does chase them. She has been boarded and gets along great with other dogs. Kiara is crate trained during the day but loves sleeping with her people at night. She is nervous around fireworks and isn't a fan of car rides. Due to changes in our schedule, we’re looking for a home where Kiara can spend less time in her crate and have plenty of room and time to exercise. Someone familiar with hounds or hunting dogs would be ideal. Our priority is finding Kiara a loving, active forever home where she can thrive. ❤️🐶
