Story
My name is Gypsy. I am a stunning 60 lb 10 month old beauty. I live in a great place with some land and dog friends. I love my people who have kept me safe. I am loyal and attentive and my favorite place is on the couch or in their lap. I am a girl that would thrive with a fenced in yard. I am housebroken and crate trained. Even though I live with other dogs, I can be hesitant at first. I am not reactive but more cautious. I could live with another kind and confident dog; one who could help me learn the ropes! Or I can rely on my humans to do that. I have not been around young children. At my age of adolescence, I have so much to learn. I am trainable and smart. Story
My name is Hutch! I am about 6.5 years old and 60 lbs. Okay - perhaps my ideal weight would be 55 but it's been a long winter! My family loved me so so much and the decision to re-home me was not their choice. It was a very hard situation but they have my best interest at heart. I am in a wonderful foster home in CT. My next and final family is out there and will be so lucky to have me. What is so great about me? I love people. I have been around kids too without any issue. I am extremely loyal and love to be close but I am not annoying. I am good with other dogs too. I live with two other dogs in my foster home and I am respectful. I will also play if given the invitation once I am comfortable. I seem to enjoy their company! I can easily live as an only dog too. I have enough confidence and independence where that won't be a problem. I am completely housebroken and trustworthy. No crate needed! I am fine for a few hours if my people need to go out. I walk well on leash and love to get out and about. I am medium energy. Of course, I love my entertainment and exercise but I am a master at cuddling on the couch and just chilling too. I am a wonderful mature age with a lot of years ahead. I am located in CT. If you are interested in me, here is a link to the application: https://www.zivadogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Story
My name is Bingo. I am what you think I am - a Cattle Dog or other people may call me a Heeler. Same thing! I am pretty classic aren't I? I am 1 year old and about 40 lbs. I am totally filled out and full grown. Maybe 2 or 3 lbs too filled out! I am a loyal and loving companion and a pleaser. I am great with dogs. I live with two female heelers and I took to them right away. My herding behavior comes out a bit when I am excited and playful but I take their corrections and listen when they are over it! I am good on leash. I love to go for hikes and have been on a jog with my foster mom. I do great! I am quiet and medium energy for a Heeler. I have my moments as young dogs too but tend to follow the lead and the pack. I do need a human or family that will keep me exercised and stimulated. That is key for a Heeler! I bond to my people hard. I love other dogs but don't need them. I rather have that strong relationship with my human or humans. I want them to be my best buddy and take me where they go! I am smart, adaptable and have a lot to offer as I get adjusted and learn! We are not totally sure about cats but think I may be just fine (I don't bother chickens). I also have not been around younger children so 10+ is probably a good age to start with me. Story
My name is S'mores. I am about 10 months old and 55 lbs. My poundage doesn't translate to the way I look! You will be surprised, I am not that big! I am also all filled out. I am a gorgeous almost painted brindle. My breed mix? Ridgeback? Cur? Hound? Terrier? We aren't totally sure but I am a handsome man. I am a very sweet and gentle dog. My most favorite thing in the world? Kids. Just like my brother Red, who was adopted recently, kiddos just make me feel good. I am the most trusting of the smaller humans at first. In my first foster home, I lived with young children and was very attached to them. In my NJ foster home, I also love my older kids. I am great with dogs too. I actually would prefer that my next home have a dog buddy in it. It's not that I don't adore my humans but the other canine will give me a little confidence to continue to learn about how good life can be! I can be hesitant with new sounds and sights. If I see a trash truck on a walk, I might be a little concerned but we have found that my dog friends keep me moving! I am housebroken and crate trained; although, I have basically aged out of the crate. I will need a patient family that is willing to let me go at my own pace and provide positivity and love on the way. A fenced in yard is required; I love to romp and run in my secured area. My leash walking is good; when I see something that gives me pause - that's when my dog buddy jumps in to let me know the walk can proceed! When you meet me, you will fall in love. I am located in NJ. Here is a link to the application if you are interested in me! https://www.zivadogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Story
My name is MooMoo. I am a stunning 80 lb Dane/Catahoula/Pit Bull mix. We can't be 100% sure what my make up is but my Harlequin coat harkens to Dane and Catahoula while my broad head could be pittie or Mastiff! I am a lovely dog who was lucky enough to picked up from running the streets. I was happy to have a home again with food and beds; and, humans that care for me. I love my people. I live with two kids under 10. I am housebroken, I am pretty mild in terms of energy. I like to hang out, plays in my yard and follow my humans around. I am sort of a velcro kind of fella. I am dog friendly, I live with another big dog (but she is smaller than me). I need a minute to understand the lay of the land when introduced to something new but it takes me little time to recognize good things. I am crate-trained but I need a crate that I cannot escape. A wire crate is too easy for me! But, an airline or another type will do. I know I can't escape and will just hang out and relax. I also have be left alone for a bit of time out of the crate. I walk well on leash and have not been a puller thus far. If you are interested in me, here is a link to the application: https://www.zivadogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Story
Meet Trinity! This beautiful girl is about 2 1/2 years old and weighs 52 pounds. This girl is pretty near perfect! She is housebroken, crate trained and has some good basic manners down. Trinity is a pretty low key dog, she likes to go on short walks and then curl up with her people. She LOVES attention and is super sweet. Her favorite thing to do is cuddle against her people. Trinity is also great with kids! She adores the attention they give her. She is good with other dogs and tends to ignore them when on walks with her foster mom. She also tends to ignore the cats she has been around. Just an all around great girl who is looking for her spot on the couch! Think she might be perfect?
