Story
Logan is an 11-year-old Maltese who spent his life as a deeply loved companion to my parents. After they both passed away within the last six months, Logan is now looking for a new home where he can continue to receive the love, stability, and companionship he is used to. Logan is house trained, affectionate, and loves to cuddle. He is happiest when he is close to his person, whether sitting beside you on the couch, relaxing quietly nearby, or following you around the house. He has a gentle, calm, and loyal personality, making him a wonderful companion dog. He is up to date on his vaccinations, and about five months ago he had dental work that included a few tooth extractions. He healed very well and is doing great. Logan would do best in a loving, calm home where someone appreciates a sweet companion who enjoys quiet time and cuddles. The best words to describe Logan are gentle, loving, loyal, and affectionate, a true companion looking for a family to share his heart with.

Story
Lannister needs a new home. I originally got Lannister with an ex boyfriend. Now that we have gone our separate ways, I do not have the capacity to give Lanny the energy and attention he deserves. He is a sleepy, calm dog in the home but outside the home he is extremely playful and fun. Loves to play with his flirt pole and chase balls. I would love for him to go to someone who has a backyard. I am desperate to find him a good loving home.

Story
Meet Benny, an eight-year-old dog originally from Korea.Benny is a super sweet dog with a lot of love and heart. He just wants all the cuddles and pets and to feel safe. He gets along well with other dogs as hes spent his life growing up around them but he was abused when he was in Korea so he trusts females easier than males due to the abuse coming from a male. He has zero aggressive bones in his body and would most likely do good around cats if needed as well. He walks well on leash once he trust you, but will freeze if he gets scared. He has a half brother who lives with me as well, which I had adopted a few years prior to Benny. He has a collapsed trachea that he takes a small pill in his food twice daily but doesnt affect his lifespan. This has caused him to gain weight (though he had a weight problem in Korea due to not be giving food at times so now he loves his food). He is a little chunky monkey. He also does have a cherry eye he's lived with for over five years.

Story
My name is Caramel. Do you pronounce it "Carmel" or "Care-A-mel?" Whatever you like, I am good with. That's the type of pup I am! I am about 6 months old and 33 lbs. We expect my size to be medium, 50 to 55. I am a beautiful mix of Pitbull and Catahoula. My eyes and my brindle coloring harken to the latter breed. My affectionate and in tune nature to other humans and dogs harken to the first. We know I may not get as many looks as some other dogs, which is a shame, but I can tell you, I am gentle, kind, adaptable and smart. I live with other dogs and I absolutely adore them. I love to romp and play and I try to keep up with the bigger guys. I am submissive and aim to please those around me. I also live with cats and some foster kittens when they are around. I am good with both. I have spent time with younger children and get along with them too. I am crate trained. I love to play with toys, lounge, run around outside and just take in the world around me. My future home, ideally, would have a fenced in yard. I would love another canine in my home but the right humans are the key to success! Here is a link to the application if you would like to ask about me! https://www.zivadogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Story
My name is Speckles. I am 4 months and about 19 lb and an absolute doll. I am an Aussie/Terrier mix and should be about 35 to 40 lbs full grown. I am a lover of all people and kids and dogs! I absolutely adore all humans and I love playing with my dog friends big or small. I would be okay as an only as long as my human is attentive, fun and can play with me! Believe me, I am too cute to ignore. Another dog or two would be amazing though! I love to play with toys and can independently chew and de-fluff! I absolutely love squeaky toys. They are my fav! I am spunky but know when it's time to rest and time to play and can be a master snoozer and cuddler. My NJ time has been super busy - I have gone to 3 events in a week! I was a STAR at all of them. I am really smart and understand that I should go potty outside. I am almost fully housebroken. My foster mom says it's her fault that I have had a few accidents. It's okay - no one is perfect. I am crate trained and sleep overnight peacefully. Puppies always need practice on that leash thing but can I bop around just fine and will be happy to explore. I would make a great dog for so many people and families! I am located in NJ! If you are interested in me, here is a link to the application: https://www.zivadogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Story
My name is Maisy. I am a tiny girl at 13 lbs and about 14 weeks. We believe I am a Jack Russell Terrier mix with a few other things to note. I was so lucky. A really nice man found me wandering all alone and took me in. He got in touch with the right people and now I am in a very loving foster home. I am a sweet little lady. I am spunky and fun and can be just a little shy with new noises. I may have never been in a real home because the vacuum is a mystery to me. I also don't understand the dishwasher, washer or dryer! I just adore the three other big dogs in my home. I cuddle with them all the time, play and follow them and really like their company. They might not always love me pestering them but they are very tolerant. I am just too cute to be mad at! I am doing really well with my housebreaking. The big dogs help me learn. I sleep soundly and comfortably in my crate at night. I am fun loving puppy that will be smaller in size, 30 max. I would love to live with another dog friend and have people to cuddle with. Respectful kids would be just fine for me, I just haven't been around any of those tiny humans.
