My name is Cindy Lou. I am as sweet as the day is long. I am 65 lbs, 6 years old, a Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix and... I am a tripod! I was surrendered by my owners when they had to move. They had too many dogs to take with them. I am overweight. My first plan is to lose a good 10 lbs. A steady diet and some mild exercise will do it. Once those pounds are off, I will be able to move around on my three legs with more zest. I am a well rounded (no pun intended) dog with a lot of life ahead of me. Kids, cats and dogs all good for me. I spend my day hanging out with my dog friends, lounging in the sun, roaming around the backyard and saying hello to the cats! I am good with kids, housebroken and nope - I don't need the crate. In terms of my health, I can certainly move around and even get into a light jog! I can walk up and down stairs. Once I feel a bit lighter, I will be much better off and more spry. I can absolutely go on mild walks. I am a normal and wonderful dog, just with one less. Single family homes please. My name is Sparkle. It's a suitable name for me! I am about 12 months old and 40 lbs. I am full grown! I am a Cattle Dog Mix. I could have a little Shepherd down the line or Husky (no l am not a singer!). I am a well-rounded, active and incredibly affectionate girl. My favorite place is close to my humans so in that regard, I am a little bit of a velcro dog. I am great with other dogs and enjoy their company. I am respectful of the older dog and playful with the younger dog. I could play for long time if the other dog is up for it. I have been around kids of all ages, even those young ones and I feel comfortable around all of them. I enjoy going on walks and always ready to join my humans for a ride in the car. I am able to play independently too when needed. I am still young so some basic rules need to be instilled when I get to my new home. I would love an active family to take me to fun places where I can share my amazing qualities with many friends. A fenced in yard is a strong desire and a dog friend would be pretty cool. Hi, I'm Willa! I'm about 8 months old and weigh 56 pounds, but don't let my size fool you — I'm a gentle, friendly girl with a calm nature that seems wise beyond my puppy years. I was found wandering the streets as a stray, and I'm one of the lucky ones who landed somewhere safe. Sadly, not all bigger dogs get that same chance. My eyes say it all; I am an old soul. My coloring, stature, and adorable ears give away my likely family tree. We're pretty sure I'm a German Shepherd/Hound mix. I'm completely dog-friendly, housebroken, and comfortable in a gated-off area (or a crate, if that's what you prefer). I'm still growing! I may reach around 65 pounds when I'm fully grown. My home should be patient, kind, willing to let me adjust and understand that us dogs need some transition time too. I have not met really young kids so kids 10+ is a good start. My name is Copper. I am 14 years old and 50 lbs. I am currently Ziva's golden boy and truly something special. I am a gentleman who found myself as a stray and ultimately ended up in the shelter system. I was uncomfortable and struggling, yet remained incredibly friendly, easygoing, and mild-mannered. Thanks to some wonderful people down in Georgia, I got my freedom flight and a front-row seat to CT. Now, I am enjoying the sublime comfort of soft beds and cozy blankets, along with short, gentle hikes and the companionship of other dogs. We know that not everyone wants a 14 year old dog; I get it! But, if you are a person who loves the seniors and yearns to spoil a dog like me; I will happily consider you and give you so much in return. The vet said I am a healthy dog for my age. I do not appear to be in pain or any distress. I have an old injury to a leg which does not bother me and my joints seem to be doing okay. Yes, I can still do stairs! I need comfy beds, some nice strolls, yummy meals and a warm body to snuggle with and get pets. I am great with everything - cats nor dogs bother me. I'm just so happy to be where I am... finally. My name is Bubbles. I am a leggy Great Dane mix beauty at 18 months and 85 to 90 lbs. My human friends tell me I look like a horse! I am tall and have the classic Dane stature. I have been in rescue for almost my whole life. I never had a chance to be a real dog in a real home until now. I need a good home who deserves me! People who like gentle giants are a must. I am friendly with all people and have a propensity towards kids. I seem to be very comfortable in their presence. I seem to greatly enjoy the younger ones and will push my big head right into their lap! I am lovable, kind and affectionate. I am housebroken and walk well on leash (even for a big girl). I am not reactive to people or dogs I pass. A fenced in yard, patient humans who understand that indoor life is new to me (I need a few days to settle into my groove) and people who love big dogs.
