Story

Lola is an 11 year old lab/catahoula leopard mix that my family got as a puppy. She has been a very easy going sweet dog for the most part, but recently has started to be aggressive towards our other dog. My parents no longer feel safe leaving the 2 dogs alone together and since they are both gone most of the day, they are really hoping to find a better home for Lola. She is gentle towards all people and is fine with other dogs that don’t try to play with her, but a home without other pets would be ideal. However I do think a home with another older dog that isn’t interested in playing would be fine for her. A home with a backyard would also be ideal as she is used to having that now. She can be left home alone for 8+ hours and really is an easy dog. We love her and are so sad to have to do this but know the current situation is not safe to continue this way. Also, she is in great health and doesn’t have any special medical needs.

Lola is an 11-year-old Black Lab/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who has been a loyal and loving companion since she was rescued at eight weeks old from a Mississippi shelter. As a puppy, she was easygoing, smart, and quick to learn, bringing years of joy and comfort to her family—especially during difficult times. She is affectionate with people and thrives on companionship, enjoying a calm, stable home where she can be close to her humans. Ideal Home: Lola needs to be the only pet in the household. She is not comfortable around other dogs and can become reactive, particularly around food, treats, or toys. She does not show this behavior with people. The Right Match: Lola would do best in a peaceful, single-dog home where she can feel secure and continue being the devoted companion she’s always been.

Meet Benny, an eight-year-old dog originally from Korea.Benny is a super sweet dog with a lot of love and heart. He just wants all the cuddles and pets and to feel safe. He gets along well with other dogs as hes spent his life growing up around them but he was abused when he was in Korea and can be scared when first meeting new people. He has zero aggressive bones in his body and would most likely do good around cats if needed as well. He walks well on leash once he trust you, but will freeze if he gets scared. He is just a overall happy, lazy boy.He has a collapsed trachea that he takes a small pill in his food twice daily but doesnt affect his lifespan. This has caused him to gain weight (though he had a weight problem in Korea due to not be giving food at times so now he loves his food). He is a little chunky monkey. He also does have a cherry eye he's lived with for over five years.

My name is Roxie. I am about 33 lbs and almost 5 months. I am a precious Shepherd mix but I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few other breeds in there - Black Mouth Cur or Lab for example. We aren't sure how big I will get, likely medium sized. I could put on another 15 to 20 lbs as I grow. I am a lovely young pup that is willing to try new things and meet wonderful people and dogs. Since landing in my foster home I have had a lot of positive experiences including visits to the local brewery and walks around the neighborhood. I just did a meet and greet event and while working the room is quite tiring, I was happy to meet new people and the other rescue dogs. I love my foster mom so much and become attached to my people quickly. I happily play with my toys and lounge while my foster mom works. Of course, I am just a puppy so frequent visits outside and a bit of entertainment are a must. I am housebroken, crate-trained and sleep through the night. I like to go on strolls and walk well on the leash for a puppy. I am good with other dogs. I am a submissive girl and don't want to cause any trouble. I have been around kiddos without issue. I don't need a lot - just a dedicated person or family to give me lots of love, patience and opportunities to live a happy and fulfilling life. I have not been tested with cats but we surmise I would not want to mess with a bossy one! I am located in NJ and would love to meet you. My name is Caramel. Do you pronounce it "Carmel" or "Care-A-mel?" Whatever you like, I am good with. That's the type of pup I am! I am about 7 months old and 35 lbs. We expect my size to be on the smaller size. I am very petite, probably 40 to 45 at most. I am a beautiful mix of Pitbull and we just aren’t sure. My size speaks of a pocket Pittie but I am also a bit lanky and lean! Maybe a little Plott Hound, maybe Catahoula? I am gentle, kind, adaptable and smart. I am also chill and have an easy going demeanor. I have the qualities that most families want and need! I live with other dogs and I absolutely adore them. I love to romp and play and I fit right in. I am submissive and aim to please those around me. I am great with cats too and even the smallest of kittens. I adore kids, of any age! I love to play with toys, lounge, run around outside and just take in the world around me. I am crate trained and housebroken. My future home, ideally, would have a fenced in yard.
