Story
Sophie had belonged to my mother, who recently passed. She was adopted as a rescue in 2019 as a young puppy and is currently seven years old.She is a high-energy dog and shows a lot of border collie traits. She is house trained, but not trained in any other aspects. She gets along well with my two cats, as well as other dogs, and is very strong for her size — about 35 lbs.Despite her size, she was raised almost like a lapdog, so she does try to climb on people when they sit down on the couch or on chairs, and jumps a lot when greeting people. She is very vocal when people approach the house. Besides that, she is extremely affectionate and loyal, and loves giving kisses. She is healthy and her vaccinations are up to date.I work long and erratic hours everyday, including weekends, and do not have the time to give her the attention and exercise that she needs for an ideal life. It would be good to find a home that would provide her with ample attention and exercise.
