Story
Introducing Wyatt! Wyatt is 10 month old Shepard Mix. He is young, spunky, and full of fun energy! He enjoys going on long walks and playing with toys. He will need some help with his obedience training, but he is very smart and a fast learner! He would make a wonderful family dog, as he gets along with other dogs and children. Thank you! The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs. Please submit an application at www.NAWSUS.org under the Pet Adoption tab to setup a day or time to meet with one of our adoption counselors and our potential adoptees. Thank you!

Story
KATHERINE HEPBURN was rescued from a breeder turned hoarder situation when things got out of control the past few years. She bred Wire Fox Terriers and Silky Terriers and this was an oops mix litter. KATIE is the sweetest, most gentle and loving little girl you ever met. She is independent and more outgoing than her brother and very smart. She weighs 10 pounds, is 10 months old and is tenacious at rolling over and begging for a tummy rub. It was hard to get pictures as she immediately rolls on her back when she sees you. Katie has a lovely silky soft coat and resembles a little Yorkie. Beautiful eyes and a personality to match. Very calm, quiet, well behaved and an angel. She too loves to be petted, brushed and loved on. She is super athletic, can jump up to your face from the ground and shows off leaping on the furniture. She gets very excited and happy to see you. Katie is also a great eater and has the habit of picking up the food bowl and taking it to her bed. She is friendly with other dogs, plays well with them unless they are rough and she is submissive and wants back inside. She and her brother have the best time running in the yard, exploring and when called run right in as fast as they can. Katie is a pocket sized princess, someone to easily carry around and bring with and travel where ever you go. She is such a fun, lovable little girl who deserves a wonderful life. A home where someone was home often to bond, work on training, leash walking and spoiling a little princess. She is Spayed, Rabies, Distemper, Bordatella Vaccinations, HW Tested, on HW preventative, Microchipped.

Story
HUMPHREY BOGART was rescued from a breeder turned hoarder situation when things got out of control the past few years. She bred Wire Fox Terriers and Silky Terriers and this was an oops mix litter. BOGEY is adorable and has the silly and mishchievous traits of a Wire Fox. He is sweet, well-behaved and does love attention. His head is larger like a Wire Fox, expressive eyes, happy smile and a beautiful coat. It is thick and has areas of harshness. Bogey is 10 months old and weighs 15 pounds. He likes to play with his sister Katie, they run and leap through the air, then roll around with each other in the donut bed. Outside a game of chase in the back yard and they can run very fast. When tired he will curl up in the donut bed for a nap and sometimes together. Bogey is a good eater, loves his food and especially treats. A funny feature is he picks up his dish and brings it to his bed to eat. When there are treat sticks, he picks up his sisters and carries two sometimes three around in his mouth! Friendly with other dogs, has fun running in the yard with the other puppies and Fabio. Another hilarious part of his personality is when telling him he is a good boy or waiting for a treat, he makes this silly grin with his teeth. Reminds me of this chihuahua on Tik Tok and it cracks me up. Bogey can be timid with new people or situations, needs time to feel at ease and trust and then he is your best friend. I sit with him, tell him what a good boy he is, give him some kisses and he is in heaven. He loves to be petted and brushed, rolls over for a tummy rub, very cooperative for touching and just about anything. I am sure his mom was Myrna Loy as he has that same chubby rear end and wiggles when he walks. Bogey is fully vetted, healthy and has a life is good attitude going on. New Year and a new life and he would love a Forever Home that dotes on him, making him feel special and loved. A home where someone was home often to bond, work on training, leash walking and giving him a pampered life. He is Neutered, Rabies, Distemper, Bordatella Vaccinations, HW Tested, on HW preventative, Microchipped.

Story
Meet Quincy! This handsome 2 year old came to us all the way from Tennessee! He keeps his crate very clean and gets along well with other dogs. He has a lot of energy and loves to play, but also calms down and just wants to snuggle. Quincy would make a great addition to any family! Story
ERROL FLYNN is a swashbuckling 10-month-old Wire Fox boy who weighs 13 pounds with a gorgeous, wiry coat, melting eyes and mischievous personality. The brown marking his rear and up the tail is special. He is a leader of the band of merry men and while friendly with everyone, he will take command and initiate the game of chase. Errol is loving and enjoys human attention and interaction, playing with toys and his sister, the lovely Olivia. They will curl up in the same donut bed, eat their dinners but then a disagreement perhaps over a chew bone. He can be a little dickens, sticks his entire snout in the water bowl, then his feet, and eventually splashes all of the water out. While at the vet he did pull back and out of his collar and the great chase was on to catch the dashing little guy. Errol is also very curious, checking out everything even sticking his nose in the soapy bucket coming out with a sudsy Santa beard. He is quiet and well-behaved in the house, has great fun running in the yard with a gang of outlaws. He does best with dogs his size or larger. While he is enjoying his time here in Sherwood Forest, he would love a Forever Home of his own to fill his loot bag with riches and rewards of being a pampered, spoiled, coddled and loved Wire Fox Terrier boy. Errol is Neutered, Absorbable Sutures, Laser Therapy after Surgery, Rabies, Distemper, Bordatella Vaccinations, Heartworm Tested Negative, on HW Preventative, and Microchipped.
