Story

Juno is a 3yr old German Shepherd. She weighs around 90lb. She's very smart, housebroken, knows all basic commands and then some, but she's got a decent amount of anxiety and we suspect this is contributing to her having issues with our cats. For their safety and for Juno's well-being, we've decided to try and find someone better equipped to take her. She takes a daily anxiety medication (trazodone). She will come with all of her medication, food, beds, crate, accessories, etc. We love this dog so much, and she's a very good girl, but our current situation is just not the best for her. She would need a home without cats or small children. If you live in a quiet area, that would be best. Her anxiety is mostly triggered by trucks and loud vehicle sounds. She's up to date on all shots, is microchipped, and just had a dental cleaning this year. We just want to find Juno a home where she can be happy and an owner that will love her as much as we do.

Odyn is looking for a spiffy new home and someone to call his best friend!  Odyn came from an out of state high kill shelter and we haven’t been able to find a foster or forever home for him in over a year! He has spent most of the past year in a kennel facility and he deserves better. He is about 45lb, maybe 5 years old. We believe him to be a Dutch Shepherd/Pitty mix. He’s gentle and sweet with a little bit of sass. He loves humans and will do anything for a treat. He loves playing fetch with his ball or squeaker. He is a big snuggler and will melt into your lap if you let him. Odyn is very smart and knows most of his basic commands. He loves his crate and goes into his crate on command, does well in the car and on a leash, is potty trained, and does not have destructive habits. He seems fine with other dogs and cats while on a leash or through a fence as shown in the video, but we haven’t been able to successfully introduce him to other animals when he meets them nose to nose and no fence. We could possibly consider homing him with well balanced dogs the same size or smaller if introductions went well, but prefer him to be the only animal in the home. Odyn needs to be in a home with no children because he lacks a bit of confidence and the unpredictable behavior of children could make him nervous. He has not been behavior-tested with children. He would do best with a gentle, but structured human who can help him feel confident and secure, and one who is willing to continue any necessary training needed to build his confidence, if needed. When you meet Odyn, his gentle eyes and sweet demeanor will snatch your heart right out of you. If you can’t commit to adoption, he is in need of a foster home as well! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Moose is an almost 3 year old, 70 lb, Beagle / Lab Mix.   He is housebroken and crate trained and on the hunt for his forever home.  Moose would be happiest as the one and only pet so he can get ALL the attention! Moose thinks it can be scary meeting new people and it takes him some time to make new friends. He prefers the company of adults and older children (12+). If you can be patient with him while he warms up to you, it will be well worth it! When he knows and trusts you, he gets very attached to his humans and loves to cuddle .   With that hound nose of his, it's hard to ignore all the exciting scents out there! He would do well with someone who will help him work on his leash manners. Moose has a lot of energy and loves to run around his yard. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Are you looking for a great companion that enjoys walks and to be cuddled? Sweet Minna may be able to help. She's a 2-4 year old, 75 lb gorgeous brindled Terrier/Pit mix.  She is house broken and will let you know when she would like to be let outside.  She currently is allowed to have the run of the house when her foster parents leave, and she has shown she is a good girl when her people are away. Minna does like to “relocate “items now and again, specifically your shoes, so you might have to search for just a bit. (It could just be a ploy to keep you at home so you can give her a little more attention.) Speaking of attention, did we mention that this girl loves to cuddle?  Its pretty much her favorite activity. Minna enjoys a good bed, dog or human, with or without anyone else and always a good snuggle.  She identifies as a lap dog and if you want to give her a nice massage, she is grateful.  Minna has some chronic joint issues in her back legs and will require inexpensive medication for the rest of her life.  This does NOT keep Minna down.  She loves to walk and even does a little running.  She currently gets a good 30 minute walk daily that she loves and it tuckers her out.   A little bit more about Minna: Housebroken? Yes Crate Trained? Free Roam Good with Dogs? Ok, she does vocalize when she sees other dogs. Good with Cats? Unknown.  Good with Kids? Unknown Good with Strangers? Yes  Leash Skills? Good on leash Rides well in the car? Yes Energy level: Medium Apartment/Condo qualified? Yes but she requires daily exercise. Fence required?
