Chester has been a great dog but we already have one and we have had some trouble house training as he sometimes goes in the house. He's very spunky, loves our Colorado Mountain Dog will follow him around and clean him. We have 4 kids and he's great with them.

Story

I got Charlie in November 2021. A friend found him abandoned in a grocery store parking lot and he was severely underweight. She was not able to take him in so I did. He has been a fantastic dog and unfortunately due to sudden changes in my living situation I am no longer able to give him the care he needs. He can be rambunctious at times but is for the most part a happy lazy dog. He is completely potty trained and has never had an accident inside since I’ve had him. He has a great temperament and can be very goofy. We are not sure on his age but his vet thinks he is around 7 years old.

Pheobe, Pheebs, Pheebs Ma Dweebs. The elf eared, white pawed pretty pittie who has my whole heart. I got Pheobe in 2022, at Chicago Care and Animal Control when she was about a year, which means she’s around 5 years old. She is sweet, a kiss monster, and loves people. She is, in true pittie fashion, a total couch potato. She knows basic commands and is housebroken. I am making the heartbreaking decision to rehome her because I have young children, and she is leash aggressive towards other dogs (off leash, she is a lover and likes other dogs.) As much as I am an advocate for the breed, I also recognize that I don’t have the time or skills to work with her on her reactivity. She will stay home with us until she is safely placed in a home that will love and care for her. The ideal home will be with older children or no children (only because of her size and strength) and with no other dogs or with submissive dogs. Experienced adopters are a must.

She already knows basic commands like sit, down, paw, and stay (for a few seconds). She’s fully housetrained, loves napping in her crate, and is happiest when she has a good chew bone and some sunshine. A fenced yard would be her dream because this girl LOVES being outside. Her favorite hobby? Covering you in kisses and climbing directly into your lap for cuddles. She’s incredibly affectionate and wants nothing more than to be near her people. Callie is a sweet 1-year old girl with the most soulful eyes. She has lots of energy. She needs a fenced yard to get her energy out. She's learning to walk on a leash and handles better on a harness. She's working on potty training and has been doing very well with a consistent routine. She loves to give face kisses. She gets so excited to see her humans she jumps to greet you, so may not be a good fit for little children. Once she feels comfortable with her humans she can be a Velcro dog. She sleeps well in the crate at night but during the day, if you're home, she wants to see you because she has some separation anxiety. She sleeps all night without an accident after she goes potty right before. She would be a great companion for someone who can give her lots of attention. She is also good with other dogs.
