Story
Hi, I'm Mountain and I am looking for a new home. I am a beautiful dog and I know it! I like to sit on your feet or stand in your lap. I got my name because I like to stand on people with all four feet, like a mountain goat. I am dog selective and don't like being greeted by other dogs on leash, but I have lived with and played with other dogs. I love people most of all. I am good with little kids, but do ask that I have a space that's my own where I can go if I need a break. I am housetrained, microchipped, crate trained, and know quite a few commands. Unfortunately, due to some family health issues, I need to find my next family to love. Fee includes several months of flea/tick and heartworm meds as well as any leftover food.

Story
My name is Romeo, and I am a 2-3 year Pom mix. My foster family thinks it may be Husky or American Eskimo. I am a light guy at 17 lbs. I am just a big snuggle bug, I love snuggling with my foster family, whether on the couch, floor, or the bed. I am very gentle with the Pomeranian pack that I currently live with; they are all males. I do prefer male dogs over female dogs. I would also prefer a home without children under 13 years old. I like running in the yard and chasing my foster brothers. The foster home has many toys to play with, and I will toss them around and play tug-of-war. My favorite thing is when they are not looking to see how many toys I can relocate to the backyard. I am a little food-aggressive with other dogs, so I prefer my own space to eat. I love my morning treats and bedtime treats, and if you are late, I will talk to you to let you know that I need a treat fix. I am learning much better how to go potty outside. I do occasionally still mark in the house, but my foster family is correcting me on this. I do have nerves when going to a new place and it takes me a few days to adjust to a new location and learn the rules. I will run away if given the chance, so a secure fenced yard or a home with no small children, who don't know to not leave the door open, would be best. I know sit, lay, stay, and have been learning to dance. I like getting up on my back legs and twirling. I am always up to stretch on my family so I can get whole body massages and will not pass up a good belly rub or head scratch. If you would like to meet me, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $225. Adoption fee includes: - microchip - spay/neuter - age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies - heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive - deworming

Story
Hi, my name is Cammi. I am a 2 year old hound mix. I came with five puppies who have all been adopted. Now it’s my turn to find my forever family. I rarely have accidents indoors and am working on this. I only bark when I see someone outside my window. I love walks and I don’t pull too hard on my leash, most of the time. I would love to have a home with a fenced yard so I can run free. I love to be petted between my eyes and brushed everywhere. There are lots of outside cats around here and I’m curious about them, but I don’t chase them. I love to cuddle and am very gentle. I know you’re out there so come and take me home. who weighs about 45 pounds. The dog is good with other dogs and people. This dog is altered and up to date on shots. If you would like to meet this dog, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $225. Adoption fee includes: - microchip - spay/neuter - age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies - heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive - deworming

Story
Brenda arrived as a stray. She is a very sweet girl. She has been a ball of energy since arriving & hasn't shown signs of slowing down! She will need an active household, or means to get her energy out. She can be mouthy, so older children would be best. We think her behavior will significantly improve once she's not kenneled constantly. She is spayed, microchipped, & up to date on vaccinations.May 24, 2024, 4:03 pm
