To keep everyone stress-free, she would do best as the only pet in the home where she can be the center of attention. We adore her, but with small children, the household bustle makes it hard to ensure she does not slip out. We want a home where her safety is the priority. Hi! We are looking for someone wonderful to adopt our loving and energetic 7 year old dog, Rory. Unfortunately, after having our baby last summer we have struggled to give Rory the attention and exercise he needs as well as keeping a calm, safe environment for our newly mobile little girl.Rory is a reactive barker and will bark at the mailman, squirrels out the window, etc. He knows basic commands and has gone through a basic dog training course. He is very trainable with lots of consistency at home and treats (he loves food!)Rory loves going on walks and playing with our other dog in the backyard or at the dog park. He gives the best cuddles on the couch at the end of a long day and wants nothing more than to be around his family. He is afraid of storms and shakes until they are over. We have so much love for him and are sad to give him up but are hopeful that we can find a wonderful new home where he can get the attention he deserves.
