Story
Hi there. I'm RALPH and I can't wait to meet you! I'm a genuine "All American Dog!" My DNA test revealed that I am part Pit Bull, Labrador Retriever, Staffordshire Terrier, Boxer, and.....Chihuahua. Yep, Chihuahua :-) I weigh about 70 pounds and am around 2-3 years old now. I'm a very chill guy and eager to make new people friends. I love so many things about my new life - my foster family, the yummy food, a soft and warm place to sleep, toys to play with and bones to chew. I especially like it that my foster mom works from home, so I get to hang out with her all day. Also in my foster home are two larger dogs with whom I get to play and hang out. I am the guy in charge and prefer to be the leader. I've made a few doggie friends in the neighborhood, too. I love playing with other dogs, especially a good game of chase or tug of war with a big rope. I am leash trained for walks, which I really enjoy. When I'm not napping, I like to sit and look out the front window keeping an eye out for the mail carrier or for any package deliveries. My foster mom has taught me several commands including “sit”, “paw”, “down”, “come”, and "stay." My specialty is being really gentle and calm around the little humans. My foster family's granddaughters (ages 8 and 10) are here a lot and a neighbor's 4 year old daughter, too, and I am the best boy with them! I love to snuggle with them and give cuddles and kisses. My favorite thing in the whole world is just to be with my people so I really need an adoptive family who is home more and would enjoy sharing their life with me. If that describes you, I would love to meet you and see if you could be my forever family! RALPH has been examined by licensed veterinarians and been provided inoculations, deworming, testing for diseases as well as has been neutered, microchipped, and treated for Heartworm Disease. Ralph is on a low dose of Fluoxetine currently to help with his transition from stray to house dog. Ralph is healthy and ready for his new family/person.
