Story
Hi, I’m Reagan and I’m new to the rescue. I am currently decompressing and getting used to my foster family. Check back as my foster family learns more about me! Dog’s Name: Reagan Location: Yorkville, IL Date of Birth: 12/7/2024 Gender: Female Breed: Great Dane Color: Merle Dog's Weight: Gets along with: Dogs?: Yes Cats?:  Unknown Kids?: Unknown Training: Leash trained: Walks loose on leash Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Reagan – A Regal Beauty Ready for Her Forever Home! Reagan is a truly regal young lady with a heart full of love and a zest for life. This adorable puppy aims to please and brings the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection. She loves to run, romp, and play—then happily curl up for cuddles when it’s time to relax. Reagan is a total cuddle bug who thrives on attention and companionship. Personality Highlights: Playful, energetic puppy Eager to please and very affectionate Loves running, playing, and snuggling Sweet, loving, and full of joy Ideal Home for Reagan:Reagan would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely burn off her puppy energy. She would absolutely love having another large-breed dog to run and play with, making a canine companion a big plus. Because she is still a puppy with lots of energy, an adopter who is ready for training, exercise, and continued socialization would be ideal. While first-time giant breed owners may be considered, experience with large or energetic dogs is preferred. Reagan is ready to bring fun, love, and cuddles into the right home—could that be yours? Story
Hi, I’m Elsa.   I’m not quite ready to be adopted, but you can come back here occasionally to check my progress and find out when to submit an application. Dog’s Name: Elsa Location: Ingleside, Il Date of Birth: 12/12/2025 Gender: Female Breed: Neapolitan Mastiff / Cane Corso Color: Black Dog's Weight: 85 Gets along with: Dogs?: Needs Slow Introduction Cats?:  Needs slow introduction, does not get along with cats Kids?:  Unknown Training: Leash trained: Walks loose leash Potty trained: Indicates need to potty and doesn't have indoor accidents Car:  Rides well in the car Meet Elsa – Your Sweet, Snuggly Best Friend! Elsa is the cutest little girl with the biggest heart. She absolutely loves to cuddle and will happily curl up with you whenever she gets the chance. True to her affectionate nature, Elsa follows her people everywhere and wants nothing more than to be your loyal sidekick and best buddy. She has been doing wonderfully with house training and is doing all her potties outside like a good girl. Elsa also rides great in the car, making her an excellent companion for errands, visits, or weekend adventures. While she doesn’t zoom around much, she walks nicely on a leash and is content staying close to her person. The Perfect Home for Elsa Elsa would be a great match for a first-time giant breed owner, as she has a gentle, easygoing personality and is eager to please. She does not require a fenced yard and would do just fine in a home that enjoys leash walks and quality time together. If there is another dog in the home, Elsa would likely do best with an older or calm canine companion who matches her relaxed energy. She would also thrive as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention from her humans. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate girl who wants to be by your side through it all, Elsa may be the perfect addition to your family. Hi, I’m Ronan.   I’m not quite ready to be adopted, but you can come back here occasionally to check my progress and find out when to submit an application. Dog’s Name: Ronan Location: Chicago, Il Age or Date of Birth: 12 Weeks Gender: Male Breed: Anatolian Shepherd / Bullmastiff / Great Pyrenees Color: Black & Tan Dog's Weight: 19.8 lbs Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs  Cats?:  Unknown Kids?: All kids Training: Leash trained: We're working on it Crate/Kennel:  We're working on it Potty trained: We're working on it Car:  Rides well in car, but should be harnessed for safety Meet Ronan! Ronan is a spunky, independent, and super smart puppy with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart . He isn’t shy about letting you know how he feels or what he wants —especially when attention is involved! If he thinks he’s missing out, he’ll happily jump his pen to come find you and collect all the love and kisses he can ‍. This energetic boy loves playing outside ‍ and staying active! He’s also a very devoted brother, always keeping a watchful eye on his sibling and making sure everything is okay. Despite his bold confidence, Ronan is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and people-focused . He thrives on human interaction and loves being close to his people . Ronan will do best with an adopter who is comfortable with an active, playful puppy and has the patience to continue his training . He is a great fit for a first-time giant breed owner who is ready to provide structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement . A securely fenced yard is preferred so Ronan can safely zoom, explore, and burn off his puppy energy . If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal, kiss-giving companion who will keep you smiling and on your toes, Ronan may be the perfect addition to your family! Story
Hi, I’m Ryla.   I’m newer to the rescue and my foster home is still getting to know me. Feel free to submit an application if you might be interested since our approval process can take a couple days. Dog’s Name: Ryla Location: Waukesha, WI Age or Date of Birth: 06/01/2025 Gender: Female Breed: Cane Corso Color: Black Dog's Weight: 56lbs Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs Cats?:  Unknown Kids?: All kids Training: Crate Trained - goes to crate/kennel on command Car - Rides well in the car Does great at the vet Meet Ryla! Ryla is a sweet girl who is very new to rescue and just beginning her journey in a foster home. As she settles in, her foster family is getting to know her personality, preferences, and routine. What we do know so far is that Ryla is taking everything in stride and deserves a patient, loving home where she can continue to decompress and thrive. What Ryla Needs in a Home: Patient, understanding adopters who are willing to give her time to adjust and show her true personality A calm, structured environment where she can feel safe and secure Adopters who understand that new dogs need time, consistency, and positive guidance Perfect Adopter:Because Ryla is still settling in, she would do best with adopters who have some dog experience—giant breed experience is a plus, but not required for the right family committed to learning. First-time giant breed owners may be considered if they are prepared to work with rescue guidance and training support. Other Dogs & Yard: We are still learning how Ryla does with other dogs; slow, thoughtful introductions will be important A fenced yard is recommended, especially while she is adjusting and learning her new routine, but this may change as we learn more about her needs Ryla’s story is still unfolding, and her foster family will continue to share updates as she shows us who she truly is. If you’re looking to open your heart and home to a dog who just needs a little time and understanding, Ryla may be the perfect match for you. What we do know so far is that Yondu is a sweet soul with a curious spirit and a gentle heart. He’s taking everything in stride and showing just how resilient and adaptable he can be.
