Petey is a sweetie. He is about 6 years old. He is a kind dog that gently takes treats, loves his walks and his cuddles. Petey sometimes forgets how big he is when he plops on your or jumps up when excited. Unfortunately, owner of the house Petey lives in passed away and Petey’s owner can’t take Petey to her new house. He really is an amazingly sweet and loyal dog.

Hi, I’m Dudley and I'm ready to find my forever home. Dog’s Name: Dudley Location: Wadesville, IN Date of Birth: 03/16/2023 Gender: Male Breed: Great Dane Color: Black Dog's Weight: 108 Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs Cats?:  Dudley does not live with cats in his foster home, however the shelter he was rescued from said he gets a long with cats. Kids?: Unknown Training: Leash trained: Walks loose on leash Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Dudley Dudley is a truly sweet and gentle boy who is ready to find a patient, loving home where he can feel safe and secure. He has a soft, sensitive nature and quickly bonds with his people—especially women, whom he absolutely adores. Once he trusts you, Dudley will happily follow you around and be right by your side through all of life’s moments. Dudley loves other dogs and makes fast friends with his canine companions. He enjoys being part of the action and was happiest sitting right alongside his foster family while they planted trees—just content to be included. He’s also a wonderful travel buddy and does amazing on car rides. Because of his past, Dudley is very nervous around men and will back away or run if approached too quickly. He is not aggressive in any way—just very submissive and unsure. He will need an adopter who understands his history and is committed to slow, positive introductions to help him build trust and confidence over time. Due to his timid nature, a securely fenced yard is important so he can feel safe while outside. Dudley would thrive in a calm, understanding home that will give him the time and reassurance he needs to blossom. With patience and love, Dudley will reward his forever family with unwavering loyalty, gentle companionship, and a heart full of love. Story
Hi, I’m Marena and I’m ready to find my forever home!  Dog’s Name: Marena Location:  Chicago, IL Date of Birth: 06/06/2025 Gender: Female Breed: Cane Corso Color: Brindle Dog's Weight: 93   Marena is a truly sweet, gentle Cane Corso who just needs a little extra help learning that the world is a safe place. She is incredibly loving at her core, but right now everything feels big and overwhelming to her. New sounds, unfamiliar environments, and sudden movements can startle her easily. On walks, she may need quite a bit of time to feel comfortable enough to go to the bathroom, and when she’s scared, she can shake and try to retreat. This isn’t a dog with any aggression - just a very sensitive girl who hasn’t fully learned to trust her surroundings yet. Her foster is doing exactly what Marena needs: going slow, giving her space, and letting her approach people on her own terms. When guests come over, she does best when they ignore her at first and allow her to build confidence and curiosity before engaging. With time and patience, she does start to come around. One of the biggest things that may help Marena is being around other dogs. She’s shown signs that being part of a “pack” could help her build confidence and learn by example. A calm, confident dog companion in the home would likely be a huge benefit for her. Marena has also shown she can be trusted in the home -  she has not been destructive or prone to chewing. However, when placed in a confined or stressful situation (like being shut in a small room), she has panicked. Because of this, crate training will need to be approached slowly and thoughtfully, ensuring she feels safe and not trapped. Her ideal home will be calm, patient, and understanding. She needs someone who will meet her where she is, give her time to decompress, and gently encourage her to build confidence at her own pace. Structure, routine, and positive reinforcement will go a long way with her. Marena is not a quick, easy dog - but she is a deeply rewarding one. For the right adopter, watching her gain confidence, trust, and joy in everyday life will be something truly special. She just needs someone willing to show her, step by step, that she’s safe.    Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption.
