Are you looking for a perfect "Pomski"? Look no further! Dakota is here and available for adoption, and he would really like to find his forever home soon. Dakota is a senior Pomeranian x Husky mix, born 3/27/15. You would never know he is 11.5 years old by looking at him. He is active, healthy, and loves to play and go on walks. He enjoys human attention and soaked up all of the love at our recent adoption event. Dakota has been cat and dog tested, and overall does really well -- but can be the fun police and a bit of a grump with other dogs at times. We think he could live with dogs in the right home, but would also be happy as an only dog. Dakota is housetrained, rides great in the car, and is just an all around good boy. He is ~40 lbs and is a heavy shedder. Dakota's adoption fee is FREE and he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Story

Freya is a nearly 2 year old female mixed breed dog, who came to the shelter due to no fault of her own. Her previous owner cited her being unable to contain Freya as the reason for surrender. She came to us heavily pregnant, and within a week of drop off, had a litter of 5 healthy pups. She was excellent with staff through the whole process, has been a great mom, and is now ready to find a great home of her own. She is medium sized, and once back to her normal body weight, she will likely be a 50-55 lb dog. Freya lived with other dogs in her previous home, and got along with them but has not been great with strange dogs here (but had puppies with her and/or pregnant) we are now beginning to explore dog meet and greets with her to see how she will do. She lived with children in her previous home, but recommend older children or adult only household now that we've gotten to know her. Her adoption fee has been paid by a generous donor, so she is FREE to an approved adopter. She is now spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Freddy is a puppy born 5/2/26 who is looking for his forever home after he was owner surrendered after the owner was unable to find homes for these puppies. He is 75% Cattle Dog and 25% French Bulldog, per the previous owner. Freddy has been raised around livestock, cats, children and other dogs. He is still working on basic training and getting used to collars and being leash walked since he was previously free to run a farm. He is a good boy and ready to leave the shelter ASAP. His adoption fee is $175, he is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be neutered prior to leaving the shelter.
