Story
Bean is, as most pitties are, very sweet and full of love to give, she can be very shy but i feel like in the right home she could really open up. Id love for her to go to a home with other dogs already so she has someone to play with and burn all the energy she has hut its not a requirement (: shes been around babies and children but not cats so im not sure how she would be with cats. She is 100% kennel trained and has no issues being left in a kennel for full work day if need be. She has an early August birthday so shes about a year and a half old now, I got her from a farm. The main reason she is being rehomed is due to my own financial struggles as well as my schedule and living situation not being the most ideal for a dog, I wish i didnt have to but she deserves better ): I really want her to a loving hole that has the time and energy for her.

Story
Kai is a sweet girl who thrives with lots of attention and exercise. We are rehoming because she does not do well with cats or small children. She can be reactive and needs additional training. Takes longer to warm up to men than women.

Story
Disclaimer: We are in the process of getting Coco up to date on shots and spay. Adoption fee is to cover those expenses Coco is a cuddle bug who loves exploring the outdoors. She comes from an accidental breeding (both parents were first time parents). She is house broken, knows basic commands, does well on the leash and is crate trained (though she is not a fan of going in; gentle encouragement typically does the trick). Coco is affectionate, smart, loyal, clever and full of personality. Good with children, other dogs and cats. Ideal home for Coco would be with a loving family who is active and preferably have another dog or cat in the house. She loves to play and get her tummy rubs in. DOB: August 8th, 2025 I'd be happy to answer any questions.

Story
Meet Spice — your future best friend! Just one look at that sweet face and you may be smitten for life. Spice is a neutered male puppy, about 7 months old, searching for the forever family he can call his own.In his foster home, Spice loves zooming around the yard, playing fetch, and happily sharing toys with his canine buddy. Like any growing pup, he balances his playtime with plenty of cozy naps so he’s always ready for the next adventure.Spice has never met a stranger and greets everyone like a potential new friend who surely came to pet him. On walks, his curiosity shines, especially when squirrels dash past. He walks well on leash but can pull a bit, so continued training will help him polish his manners. He is house-trained and also pad-trained, though as with any young puppy, an occasional accident can happen. At night, Spice settles nicely into his crate, which he treats as his own quiet bedroom and will often relax in there during the day even with the door open.If your family has room for a loving, playful companion who will adore you from the very first meeting, fill out a no-obligation application to meet Spice today. Story
Dusty is a bundle of joy and happiness, weighing around 60 pounds. She’s a silly, gentle, sweet, and curious dog. Although she may seem a bit timid at first, she’s always eager to embark on new adventures and explore the world around her. Dusty is a bit unsure of children and needs some time to warm up to them or new people in general.Dusty loves to play in the backyard, chasing a ball or a bucket. She’s not picky about her toys. She’s potty trained and knows basic commands, although she still needs a bit of guidance on the leash. Dusty’s favorite pastime is watching squirrels and chasing bunnies.Dusty lives with five kitties, and she’s gotten along well with them without any issues. However, she’s still quite curious about them. When Dusty is indoors, she usually relaxes in her crate, observing her family and feeling safe and happy in her own little world.Adoption fee is $360Email: dogs@almosthomefoundation.orgAlmost Home Foundation`s adoption requirements:(1) Be at least 21 years of age;(2) Have the consent of all adults living in the household;(3) Have approval from the residence owner;(4) Have valid ID with current address;(5) Be approved by Almost Home Foundation as a suitable adoptive home; and`(6) Live in the suburbs surrounding Schaumburg (Illinois Residents only)*** Please note that Almost Home Foundation accepts only cash, Zelle, or checks for adoption fees; we do not accept debit or credit cards. ***
