Story
Meet Skellington! Skellington is a four year old Husky available for adoption. He was found a few weeks ago as a stray with a black hoodie on with skeleton bones and we were surprised that no one called looking for him. We checked our records and online reports and unforunately came up empty handed. Skellington does well with other dogs and wouldn`t mind a friend at home. He loves treats and likes to zoom throught the snow (of course). Yes, he is a handsome boy and an absolute goofy boy but he is also a Husky. Huskies like to run and need to be worked with. They like to go on long walks, can play for hours, and have the sassiest attitudes on top of everything. Skellington is doing well at the shelter and is very affectionate but don`t let his looks fool you. He has all the Husky attitude and sass and can be quite naughty! Huskies can be on a whole other level at times but with discipline, exercise, and training, they can be very rewarding and great companions! His adoption fee is $200, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed! Contact our office for adoption details at 815-725-0333. Located in Joliet, IL

Story
Quilt is a one-year-old Bully who came to us as a stray a few weeks ago and quickly stole everyone’s heart. When he arrived, he had patchy fur and irritated, scaly skin, but despite his rough start, Quilt was nothing but sweet, outgoing, and eager for affection. Sadly, no one came forward to claim him—but that just means he’s now ready for a fresh start. During his time with us, Quilt received antibiotics, regular medical baths, and plenty of TLC to treat his demodex. His skin has healed beautifully, his coat is filling back in, and he already looks like a whole new dog. Through it all, Quilt has remained a happy, smiling boy who thrives on love and human attention. Quilt does great with other dogs and absolutely loves to play. He’s ready to leave his past behind and start the next chapter of his life with a family who will give him the care, love, and forever home he deserves. His adoption fee is $200, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed! Story
Meet Asher, a seven-year-old Cocker Spaniel who was recently surrendered due to the declining health of his owner. Unfortunately, they were no longer able to provide Asher with the attention and care he deserves. Asher is an outgoing, affectionate boy who truly adores people and loves being the center of attention. His previous owner reports that he does well with children. Asher is not a fan of other animals, so he will need a home where he can be the only pet. Please do your research as Cockers require a lot of attention from keeping up with their thick coat to avoid tangles and mats, medical attention (well known for ear infections, allergies, etc), and he can be quite vocal at times. He would thrive in a loving home ready to give him the companionship and devotion he needs. His adoption fee is $200, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed! Story
Meet Sidra, a sweet three-year-old Pittie with a heart as gentle as her eyes. When she came to us as a stray, Sidra was thin, full of parasites, and showed signs of a rough past. Now, with the care and love she deserves, she’s thriving and has discovered the joy of simple comforts—her own blanket, regular meals, and a safe space to call her own. Sidra adores affection and treats, and she loves earning them before plopping down beside you for some quiet companionship. She’s friendly with other dogs, so a mellow canine friend at home would be a great match. No small dogs or cats. Sidra is ready to find a loving family who will shower her with the care and attention she’s always deserved. Her adoption fee is $200, which includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay. She is already fixed! Story
Meet Boar, a two-year-old Pittie with a goofy grin, a heart of gold, and about two very hardworking brain cells. Boar came to us as a stray and arrived in rough shape — filthy, scarred, and clearly having had a tough start to life. But despite his rugged appearance, this boy is nothing but love and silliness. Boar is a total goofball who lives for playtime. He loves to wrestle, romp, and clown around with his dog friends, and he does great with other dogs. His derpy personality shines through in everything he does — from his silly expressions to his dramatic play bows and happy zoomies. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh every single day while also giving you endless love and loyalty, Boar is your guy. He’s ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter full of toys, treats, and a family who will adore his comical, lovable self. His adoption fee is $200, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed!
