Story
Meet Shamwow, a three-year-old Pit Bull Terrier with a personality just as bold as his stunning bright red brindle and white coat. Shamwow was brought to us as a stray and, sadly, no one ever came to reclaim him — but he hasn’t let that dim his joyful spirit one bit. This handsome boy is incredibly outgoing and absolutely loves to play. Whether it’s running around the yard, romping with doggy friends, or soaking up attention from his people, Shamwow is always ready for fun. He does great with other dogs and would love a home where he can have a canine buddy or regular playtime. Shamwow is looking for a family who will appreciate his playful energy, affectionate nature, and one-of-a-kind good looks. If you’re searching for a loyal, happy-go-lucky companion, Shamwow may be the perfect match for you! His adoption fee is $200, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed! Story
Meet Cinder, a two year old Pittie mix whose resilience shines just as bright as her name. Cinder arrived as a stray back in January and, heartbreakingly, no one came forward to reclaim her. We may never know her full story, but when she came to us she was emaciated, dirty, and clearly had not been cared for in quite some time. She had a long road to recovery ahead of her — and she has been working hard every single day. With proper nutrition, veterinary care, and lots of love, Cinder has been steadily gaining back her strength and showing us the beautiful dog she was always meant to be. Despite whatever she endured before arriving here, Cinder’s spirit remains incredibly sweet. She is dog friendly and greets staff and volunteers with the gentlest nose boops and the happiest tail wags. She leans in for affection and soaks up attention like she’s been waiting her whole life for it. Cinder is ready for a fresh start — one filled with kindness, stability, and a family who will never let her feel forgotten again. If you’re looking for a loving, resilient companion who will greet you every day with gratitude and joy, Cinder is waiting to meet you. Her adoption fee is $200, which includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay. She is already fixed! Story
Meet Skellington! Skellington is a four year old Husky available for adoption. He was found a few weeks ago as a stray with a black hoodie on with skeleton bones and we were surprised that no one called looking for him. We checked our records and online reports and unforunately came up empty handed. Skellington does well with other dogs and wouldn`t mind a friend at home. He loves treats and likes to zoom throught the snow (of course). Yes, he is a handsome boy and an absolute goofy boy but he is also a Husky. Huskies like to run and need to be worked with. They like to go on long walks, can play for hours, and have the sassiest attitudes on top of everything. Skellington is doing well at the shelter and is very affectionate but don`t let his looks fool you. He has all the Husky attitude and sass and can be quite naughty! Huskies can be on a whole other level at times but with discipline, exercise, and training, they can be very rewarding and great companions! His adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed! Story
Meet Spud, a seven month old Pittie mix with a tiny body and a big personality! When Spud first arrived as a stray, we were convinced he was just a little baby — especially at only 24 pounds. But after a closer look (and spotting all of his adult teeth), we realized this small fry is just a compact, full-grown pup! We’re not quite sure what he’s mixed with, but whatever it is makes him one very unique and adorable boy. Spud may be small in size, but he is mighty in spirit. He’s spunky, playful, and always ready for action. He does great with other dogs and absolutely loves having playmates to romp around with. Toys are one of his favorite things, and during free time he can often be found zooming around the playroom, living his very best life. Spud would thrive in a home that appreciates his playful energy and fun-loving nature. He’s a one-of-a-kind little guy who’s ready to bring laughter, excitement, and plenty of zoomies to his forever family. If you’re looking for a compact companion with a big personality, Spud just might be your perfect match! His adoption fee is $200, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed! Story
Meet Sidra, a sweet three-year-old Pittie with a heart as gentle as her eyes. When she came to us as a stray, Sidra was thin, full of parasites, and showed signs of a rough past. Now, with the care and love she deserves, she’s thriving and has discovered the joy of simple comforts—her own blanket, regular meals, and a safe space to call her own. Sidra adores affection and treats, and she loves earning them before plopping down beside you for some quiet companionship. She’s friendly with other dogs, so a mellow canine friend at home would be a great match. No small dogs or cats. Sidra is ready to find a loving family who will shower her with the care and attention she’s always deserved. Her adoption fee is $200, which includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay. She is already fixed! Story
Meet Delilah, a one year old Dachshund/Terrier mix with fourteen pounds of scruffy sweetness. When she first arrived as a stray, Delilah was understandably nervous about all the new faces, sounds, and the fast-paced shelter environment. Everything felt big and overwhelming for such a little girl. With patience and reassurance from staff, Delilah quickly began to show her true personality. Before long, she decided the front office was her safe haven — especially if it meant curling up in ACO Lupton’s lap. Once she bonds with you, she’s all about closeness, comfort, and being your tiny shadow. Delilah does well with other dogs, both big and small, and enjoys a good prance around during playtime. She has the cutest little trot and carries herself like she knows she’s adorable. But after she’s gotten her wiggles out, she’s more than happy to settle into your lap for snuggles. This scruffy little lady is looking for a home that will give her the security she craves and the love she deserves. If you’re ready for a loyal lap companion who can balance playful energy with cozy cuddles, Delilah may be your perfect match. Her adoption fee is $200, which includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay. She is already fixed!
