Story
Now it`s my turn to introduce myself! Hi, everyone! My name is Lumen, and I`m about a year old. I first arrived at JTAC back in April as a skinny little string bean of a stray, and I`ve been patiently waiting for my forever family for about six months now. I`ve had a few visitors along the way, but I guess I just haven`t met my perfect match yet! If you`re looking for a fun-loving, adventurous, and energetic best friend, I might just be your girl! I do great with kids, love to play, and have enough energy to keep you on your toes. I`m VERY ACTIVE and would love a family that enjoys long walks around the neighborhood, hiking trails, or just getting out and exploring the world. I`ve actually become best friends with the shelter director, who loves taking me on long morning walks to help burn off some of my endless energy. She is very impressed that I know how to politely sit before she throws my ball. I learned that after a good game of catch, rolling over for some belly rubs feels soooo good. I absolutely LOVE zooming through the fields, rolling around in the leaves, and checking out the creek in the back. There`s just so much to explore! I do realy well with other dogs, although I might come on a little strong when we first meet. Not mean, just pure joy for a new pal! Brandon always says I come out `HOT,` and honestly, he`s not wrong! I get so excited about making new friends that I greet them with my signature zoomies and love showing off just how fast I can run. I may be a little like a bull in a china shop at first, but I promise it`s only because I`m so excited to make friends. As for cats? Well, let`s just say I think they`re toys, so a cat-free home is a must for me. I`m looking for an active family that can keep up with me, both physically and mentally. I`d love to have adventures, learn new things, and have a job to keep my busy mind occupied. As for my breed, your guess is as good as mine! I`m probably a little bit of everything, or as they say, a Heinz 57! I`ve spent the last six months waiting for someone to see just how special I am. I`m ready to trade my shelter walks for adventures with my very own family. I promise to keep you laughing, keep you moving, and become your very best friend. I`m really hoping for a home with lots of toys and balls to catch, but also lots of snuggles and belly rubs to end each day!
