Story
Meet Reilly! This beautiful pup is ready to find her forever home :) Reilly is an adorable hound/shepherd mix that is about 90bs. Her estimated birthday is 8/20/2018. She is a very happy and friendly girl! She gets along with dogs, cats, and people both big and small. Everyone she meets says what a good girl she is! Reilly would enjoy being with an adopter who loves some adventure and wants to explore with her by their side or engage in outdoor activities such as walking, running, hiking etc. She will be your partner in crime when it cmes to outdoor adventures. She enjoys walks but does not have much experience on a leash so does need some basic training there.. When she has the space to run, she is so fast and would love a yard or space to run around in. Reilly's current foster mama said she would do great in a house with another dog to play with or with an active family. Reilly becomes very excited when she has a canine companion to play with and exudes sheer joy when she is romping and playing with them. Reilly is a special girl and deserves a loving home to call her own! If you would like to meet Reilly, your first step is filling out an application here sayvanimals.org/adopt We are also accepting foster applications for Reilly, apply here: sayvanimals.org/foster (PLEASE NOTE: Despite what Petfinder, Adoptapet and other aggregation services state, the first step is to fill out an application on our website, not send us a message through their website. Thank you!)

Story
Dama is an adorable paraplegic husky pup who is ready to find her forever home! Dama was our very first paraplegic SAYv. This gorgeous girl was rescued by an amazing family from Mexico. They saw this cute baby husky in a wooded area and couldn't leave her there to fend for herself. They got her vaccinated and ready to come to the U.S. Once here, the family searched around for a rescue to take her in... time was running out. When we saw her being shared, we were immediately drawn to Dama's story. Thankfully we had an amazing foster that agreed to step up to the challenge which allowed us to say YES. Dama has been getting the royal treatment in her current foster home. She loves her swim lessons and therapy sessions - they keep her limber and mobile. Dama came rolling into rescue like she was on fire. She is a gorgeous husky puppy girl who loves all people and animals. She is always down for a good play time and loves to tell you about her day. Dama would do best in a house with another playful dog. Even though she is in go mode a lot, she does love a good bone and chill time. Don't let her cart worry you, because she doesn't let it hold her back. She just needs her bladder expressed a few times a day to make sure it's empty. Then she's good to go! We know that having a paraplegic dog isn't the easiest thing in the world, but we promise, we will explain EVERYTHING and give you the support you need to allow this girl to fit into your family perfectly

Meet Lucy! Born on 2/5/2023, Lucy is a sweet and loving pup who adores meeting people and dogs of all ages. She enjoys leisurely walks, soaking in all the sights and smells along the way. Indoors, she loves playing with various toys and will often proudly carry a bone around. Despite her playful side, Lucy also loves to curl up next to you for a cozy snooze and cuddle session. Lucy is fully house trained and has mastered basic commands like sit, shake, down, and stay, thanks to her treat-motivated nature. She is crate trained for bedtime and meals, which helps maintain order in a multi-dog household. Lucy gets along well with other dogs and is cat-friendly, although she may be more interested in play than the cats are. During playtime, she is a talkative and adaptable playmate, adjusting to different energy levels seamlessly. While Lucy is comfortable as an only dog, she would also thrive in a home with another canine companion. She would make a fantastic addition to any loving household!
